About this cabin rental
Make sure to arrive in time to sink into your stay with a view of the sunset. Life is better at this cabin on top of Mount Andy. From the early morning sun flooding over the top of the ridge to the spectacular evening sunsets silhouetting Pinnacle Mountain, the views at Purpleaire are Spectacular!
In addition to the spectacular views, this cabin offers luxury accommodations with recreation inside and out! Enjoy time in the outdoor hot tub or the indoor jacuzzi garden tub. There is a game room downstairs with a pool table, WiFi, Streaming TV and a sleeper sofa for two guests. At Purpleaire, you just down the road from the Chattahoochee National Forest and Smithgall Woods State Park. It is also convenient to both Cleveland and Helen.
Pets are not allowed. Purpleaire is a Luxury Property. Guests must be 25 or older to rent.

We loved the location - close to Helen, hiking trails, and waterfalls - with a spectacular view of the mountains. Even tho there are other homes and cabins nearby, because of the trees, you can't see them and it feels very private and secluded. The outdoor hot tub was great! We found the bed to be uncomfortable (needs a new mattress); there were no directions on how to connect the 3 TVs to Dish; there was only 1 pool cue; and it seemed tacky that they put out a tip envelope for the cleaning crew despite us having already paid $145 in cleaning fees and being required to strip the bedsheets at the end of our stay. You don't get daily maid service in a rental cabin so why the tip envelope? Also, the control panel on the indoor spa tub (bedroom) doesn't work - missing one button and the other 4 buttons don't do anything. Despite those issues, we had a lovely time and would recommend this cabin for a romantic getaway. Perfect for 2 people. There is a hide-a-bed couch on the bottom floor but not much privacy there - maybe ok for kids but not adults.

This is a nice little cabin perfect for a couple's weekend away. Everything was clean and the property was easy to get to. It was overcast while we stayed so we didn't get to enjoy the full view but it was still very impressive. It's very private which was nice. Only things I would recommend would be to dry in the bottom of the deck over the hot tub so it can be enjoyed even when the weather doesn't cooperate and it might be time to change the mattress. We did enjoy our visit and will be looking at PurpleAire the next time we have a getaway to GA wine country!

This was our 4th visit to Purpleaire over the last few years and we love it. The view is spectacular & outside of the bedroom mattress that needs to be replaced, the cabin is perfect! We’ve come to look forward to this magincal “Get away” to reconnect, regroup and refresh....all within a 30 minute drive to some of the best vineyards and restaurants in the country.

My wife and I went to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The cabin was very clean and conveniently located to get to many great trails as well as to the shops in Helen and Cleveland. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and even watched a couple of movies using the DVD player. If we could better afford to swing for trips more often we'd come back to this place again and again for sure! We have already been recommending to family and friends!

Location is convenient to Helen, waterfalls, state parks etc. Everyone we met was amazingly friendly. We would stay in the area again. Views from cabin are breathtaking. Cabin was clean and comfortable but it needs updating. Layout is good for 2 people. Road to cabin is paved, driveway is gravel.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and it was the perfect place to do so. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The view was amazing and the pool table and hot tub were nice. The kitchen had most of what we needed for cooking and the house is in a nice location close to several wineries and small towns.

This was a perfect getaway from the city. The cabin was great with a nice view of the mountains. The wind was extremely loud on our first night and we had to go out on balcony and turn the chairs over. Will be renting this cabin again.

This house is perfect if you are looking for a romantic getaway. We loved it. We didn't even go into the town of Helen, which is way cute, we just wanted to stay at the house. The view is beautiful, it was great to just lay in bed and look out the window. Or relax in the in room tub or the jacuzzi on the lower deck. The bed was comfortable, Kitchen stocked good enough, the shower upstairs did not have a lot of power, but enough to get the job done. We will totally be back. Loved it

First of all, the experience here was amazing. The view from this property is top tier! The surprise hit of the whole trip was stargazing from the hot tub. Truly a beautiful location with wonderful views of the mountain and sky. The only two downsides to this cabin was the Wi-Fi and less than comfortable living room furniture. Extremely slow internet speeds made the tv in the living room little difficult to watch with online entertainment being spotty at best. A minor gripe was also the living room furniture. However, it’s clear that this property means for you to be entertained downstairs which is where the more comfortable furniture and larger tv is offered. Other than that, this property offered an excellent experience. Would definitely stay here again simply for the view.

This was our 2nd time staying in this cabin and we will continue to book it. The cabin was still exactly as advertised with beautiful views. The first night was extremely cold because of the artic weather, but that is out of anyone’s control. The property manager was very responsive and sent a HVAC person out twice to try to get the heat working 100%. The second day it finally kicked in the worked fine afterwards.
We would recommend this cabin.

This is our 3rd trip to Purpleaire and each one is better and better. The view and the cabin are priceless if what you’re looking for is to get away, slow down and reflect on how fortunate we all are in this life. The Cabin is perfect in every regard. We were pleasantly surprised to see the new furniture on the deck which helped out greatly for an early morning cup of coffee and evening glass of wine after a wonderful dinner at 3 different restaurants (all within 30 minutes driving distance). The fireplace was a perfect way to wake up and during the 3 nights we were there, we never felt compelled to turn on the TV.

The view from this property did not disappoint; however, the other issues were not so great. I did not realize that the upper deck is not covered, so we were not able to fully enjoy the view because of the nasty weather. Also, because the upper deck is not covered, the "covered" patio below was always dripping wet from above, so we couldn't enjoy the hot tub. The wifi was weak, and there were very few appliances and cookware items in the kitchen. Overall, it was a nice stay for us, but the inconveniences will prevent us from returning.

Purpleaire review July 2022Ga Mt rental folk are lovely - gracious, accommodating – alerting us to a water outage while we were hiking. Well versed in taking good care of clients. The view is magnificent and the location truly can’t be beat but the house seems ..... tired. Very little effort, if any to keep it much more than clean and ready for the next renters.This is our second time at Purpleaire and again nothing can compare with the views. However, the cabin itself could use attention: A Purplaire sign at the entrance of the drive... looks like there might have been one at one time. Better lighting (a dark brown lampshade, really ?) or light bulbs replaced, even the nightlight bulb was dead.A nightstand lamp but on only one side of the bed...?Instead of the First People (not from North Ga) prints cut from a book or a calendar, may we suggest a framed topographical map of the area? That stunning mountain range is called Horseridge but we only learned that because we asked a local. Soup spoons in the drawer but only one smaller teaspoon? Same with the wine glasses.And just as a year ago, we asked Ga Mt rentals about having a place to sit down and eat (both inside and outside) that would have brought us back.
