Beautiful and comfortable home in the Dory Pointe subdivision just a couple blocks to Kiwanda State Beach and restaurants. The Dory Pines has 3 bedrooms and a pullout sofa. The master bedroom has an En Suite. The kitchen is fully stocked for preparing meals to eat at the dining table or to enjoy on the deck that borders the BLM forest where you will also find a walking trail. There is a propane BBQ and a fire pit. A smart TV is located in the upper level loft. Pacific City Oregon is your perfect coastal getaway with plenty of outdoor activities such horseback riding, surfing, kayaking the Nestucca River, fishing, along with miles of white sandy beach perfect for beachcombing or just relax and watch the sun go down. The property was what we expected but a few things that seemed strange. There were no curtain or window coverings in the bathrooms so people could see in while you were using it. Also in the master bedroom there was a window facing another house with no window covering right next door. In the morning the sunlight shines in starting at 6:00am.so you can not sleep in.

Nice location and good help from property management. Negative issues with the house are that the furniture, towels, cooking utensils are old and all are worn out and need replaced. Found broken and dirty dishes in the cupboard. Owner of house has failed to keep it up. Walls are dirty, broken vertical blinds in kitchen.

Nice house great location. The house desperately needs blinds in bedrooms and master bathroom. I noticed other reviews mentioned the lack of blinds. It’s an issue that should be corrected

Great house with lots of room and options for sleeping. This is my first VRBO and it was not a problem. Good communication through email, and good instructions in a notebook near the front door. We had a good stay walking to the beach and going body boarding. Our dog was happy and it was convenient to let her go potty out in the woods behind the place. We picked up after her of course.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house has a nice layout. It is a short walk to the beach. There is a nice outdoor space with a large deck, table and fire pit. It backs up against a green space.

Clean, comfortable & set up well for us. We had three sets of family members who met here for the holiday weekend. Easy access to beach walking & restaurants. Nice wooded area out back with outdoor seating & fire pit. Pet friendly & manager was very responsive & easy to work with.

This was our second time we have stayed at this property, the first time was maybe 4 years ago. Overall the property is nice, close to the beach and some local restaurants, grocery store, and coffee shop, which is nice. The area is quiet and easily accessible. However this visit I do feel that some of the furniture needs updating. The property manager seemed really nice and friendly and overall was a good stay.

This was such a great experience! It was a very last minute decision for us to go to the beach during the week. Dory Pines was a perfect dog friendly home for our family for two days. The proximity to beach trails and the short walk to Pacific city was perfect for our two young kids. The house is located in a private neighborhood so only residents were around and plenty of street parking. I would definitely stay there again.

Very well supplied…very clean…comfortable. Great place for playing games and putting together puzzles. Upstairs tv/media room was great for the kids. Plenty of bathrooms and the bunk bed was a big hit for the kids.

Overall it was a nice stay. It was about a 7 minute walk to the beach. The property was clean and had decent stuff in the kitchen to make your own meals. Thought it was good value for the money.

We spent several days here with my sister and husband visiting from Utah. Property is very close by to the beach (we walked to the beach via small paved trail across from the property) and also to the woods behind the property. Great for our dog to enjoy, too! The quick hike up the hill behind the property lends itself to a breathtaking coastal vista (weather cooperated for us, too, so that helped!) The house was very clean and ready for us - ample space for our group of six. Relatively quiet but adjacent highway is a bit noisy along with some construction in area that makes for a bit more noise during the work day. Timely communication with property manager and everything was according to directions/instructions. We'd happily stay here again.

We had a beautiful and relaxing stay in Cape Kiwanda at Ellen's home. It was sparkling clean with all the amenities needed for a perfect stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were all well stocked with supplies and towels. The property is located near a peaceful wooded area that has a great trail to walk for a gorgeous view. All in all, we loved our stay and we will be back again!! Thanks so much!!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Dory Cove house. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. The woods behind the house are beautiful, a doe ate a carrot right out of the neighbor’s hand!

Great house for the family and close to cape Kiwanda and Pelican Brewery. The house is very comfortable and spacious with some nice woods and nature trail out back. Our only issue was the kitchen was a little sparse on utensils and kitchen items. We don't need much, but a colander would be nice.

My wife and I have six children between the ages of 17 and 3. This house was perfect for our needs, and the location was fantastic. If you're going to the Oregon coast to lounge in the sand and relax, Pacific City is the place to be. It took us only a few minutes to walk to the beach from the home, which is great for the price. We ended up staying an extra day because we enjoyed the house so much. When we called her, the property manager was easy to get in touch with and helped us with our request.
