About this house rental

This 5 bedroom, 2 bath home away from home sleeps 10 in beds, and has a game room and is located directly on Arrowhead Lake with one of the best views in a gated community! Swim, fish, canoe or kayak right from the backyard! Relax on 3 large decks and enjoy beautiful sunsets and Fall Foliage with direct balcony access from 3 bedrooms. Outside security cameras are installed in the front and back for additional safety.

For larger groups, this home can be rented along with the adjacent residence to accommodate up to 20 guests.

*Minimum age 25 to rent*
*Linens and Bath towels are NOT included but can be provided for $100 (entire stay)*

ADDITIONAL Arrowhead Community costs (REQUIRED Year-Round):

-- Temporary Membership Fees for ages 6 and over (access to pools, beaches, fitness room, sports courts, lodge activities and events, etc.): $8.50 per person/per day (PEAK between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day); $2/person/day (OFF-PEAK after Labor Day until before Memorial Day)

Our lovely contemporary offers a modern, well-appointed kitchen, cathedral ceilings, skylights, a spacious family room with books, board games, HD Smart TVs and DVD players. Warm up on chilly nights with the pellet stove in the family room and a wood burning stove in the basement. Game room on the lower level offers a pool table and a foosball table, Wii, HD Smart TV and a DVD player to keep the kids busy.

Unlike other properties, firewood, propane gas, and our boats are all included!

Dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, washer/dryer, outdoor griddle grill and fire pit by the lake. Basic Cable TV and WiFi Internet access is free. Canoes, kayaks, and standup paddleboards (SUPs), are available for your use (waiver required) from April through October. The lake is stocked with trout, bass, perch, and pickerel! The property is well-shaded and driveway can accommodate eight (8) cars.

Bring your bikes and ride to other amenities in the community including 3 outdoor heated pools (seasonal), 4 beaches with playgrounds, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, sledding hill, and the newly-built lakeside lodge with a fitness center!

we loved our stay.! The house was very nice lots to love ,you can tell the owners and host are updating it. The bathrooms are updated and clean. The nice downstairs bathroom is all new and new has a great shower. The house has air conditioners in every bed room, the beds were all comfy, the host provided plenty of extra pillows and blankets. There is a great washer and dryer. The kitchen is clean all the appliances are new and the owners supplied it with all the essential things. Good knives and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The grill is awesome, and so easy to use. The basement was a bit musty, there was a dehumidifier we ran it and it helped, that being said the kids loved the pool table .Our family loved the dock it was so nice for fishing and sunsets on the lake .We also were so glad the house included enough kayaks and canoes that we all could go out on the lake together. Host provided all the wood we needed for the fire pit every day and we appreciated all the thought that went into the landscaping, a nice path to the fire pit and dock with solar lighting for night time. We loved all the wildlife. The host was so good about answering all our questions and was great to work with. The extra fees for use of facilities seemed high but it was worth it -they had all kinds of activities we enjoyed. and the entire area is really beautiful and beautifully cared for and safe. This is a perfect place for family vacations.

We have been staying for a one week extended family vacation at Arrowhead Lake on and off since 1980. A wonderful community with a beautiful lake and lots of amenities. This year's Vrbo rental was by far the BEST one of all. Prime location, great house layout and lots of things to do to keep everyone in our family happy. Lighting the fire pit each evening was a fun way to all gather together, make S'Mores and recap our day's activities. Having bikes, paddle boards and kayaks were a real plus and the pool table was awesome too for our competitive little family. The hosts were extremely responsive and communicative to our questions and needs both before and during the rental. Will definitely be renting this property again in the future. Fun times.

The view of the lake was perfect. There’s a fire pit at the lake front. Plenty of canoes and kayaks. Fully stocked wood and bbq propane for guest use. The house itself is dated but it’s clean and functional with plenty of indoor games too. The hosts are terrific. Communication was immediate. Definitely recommend.

Planned a girls get away in Arrowhead where we spend much of our childhood years. Despite the rain we enjoyed the house and location. Nice lake front property. We had a problem with a hornets nest on the deck and the property manager took care of it as fast as possible. Very accommodating and communicated well.

We recently spent a long weekend skiing and enjoying family time. The house is in a great location, lakeside with nice views of the lake, with ready access to Jack Frost/Big Boulder. The host was excellent; he got back to us almost immediately and addressed all questions and concerns. The house itself is older and could definitely use some upgrades, but it is priced accordingly. It was fine for our family and our needs. The basement pool and foosball tables were definite pluses, as were the wood stove pellet stove in the basement and main living area, respectively. The kitchen was well-equipped. We would have liked an additional bathroom, but we made do. All in all, we had a great time. Please take note of additional charges: vehicles are charged $20 each, and each person (age 6+) is charged $6 a day for access to community facilities, whether you use them or not. Nine people and 4 vehicles add up!

We had a great weekend skiing and snow tubing at both Camelback and Big Boulder. The house fit us all perfectly and the kids had a great time shooting pool and playing foosball down the basement. It was pretty cold so we weren't really able to enjoy the lake but it is the perfect location for warmer weather.

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house and had a truly memorable vacation experience. The spacious accommodations provided ample room for everyone, and we particularly cherished the serene backyard setting by the lake. We were highly impressed by the exceptional support and responsiveness of the property manager, who promptly addressed any inquiries or concerns we had. We are already planning our next visit and eagerly look forward to booking again in the near future.

This was a cute little property that had everything we needed. Gorgeous view of lake and we enjoyed using the kayaks provided. There were even bikes available! We had perfect weather but the cool weather made the community pools chilly. Wai was an extremely responsive host and we appreciated his flexibility.

The house overall was nice, plenty of sleeping area. The dock, fire pit and amneties were also a plus. The wood stove in the basement should have been cleaned, previous guest probably did not clean. The light under the range hood was blown out, little difficulty when cooking. Overall good experience will be back.

We had a great stay. Relaxing views from the deck and dock. We enjoyed the many boats available to use. The gated community amenities were very nice with multiple pools, beaches and playgrounds. We couldn’t swim off the dock because of shallow water but had a great time at the beach nearby. House could use a good dusting and the basement was musty, but didn’t seem to bother the kids as it was stocked with toys and games. Would stay again.

The property was beautiful. Fit all of us comfortably. The community had so many things to do! A great time had by all. The only negative was the cleanliness inside the home. There was garbage under the couch in the basement and very dusty. We had to clean and sweep before we moved our things in. But we had a wonderful time! Alot of wildlife to see on the property which we all loved. Deer,raccoons. And the usage of the boats and paddleboatds was awesome! Thankyou!

Our extended family enjoyed our visit to Arrowhead Lake with skiing at Jack Frost nearby. The kids loved the games in the basement. We didn't realize that one of the two bathrooms was in the main bedroom, so with 6 adults and 6 kids that wasn't ideal. Wai and Ray were super responsive and very helpful when we had questions about the fireplaces and a small bathroom issue. I would definitely rent from them again but for 12 people, would book their house next door that has a third bathroom.

We stayed with a group of 12, 3 families with kids ranging from 16 down to 3 months! The kids had a blast. We did snow tubing in Shawnee and spent the evenings playing games or watching movies by the fire. It was a great time.

We had a great stay, getting together with family for Thanksgiving. Great lakefront home with plenty of room inside and out for all 12 of us. Got plenty of use of the game room and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit too. Great and easy communication throughout too.

We had a great 3 nights! This was a family getaway weekend. Our grandchildren loved the canoes, kayaks and paddle boat. Great area for bike riding, close to one of the beaches. Owner was very responsive and gave tons of information prior to our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Our lake vacation was perfect. The description of the house is spot on. We are a family of 12 and had just the right amount of room - with beds for everyone. The house is perfectly stocked from the kitchen to the games to the bikes and the boats. Wai, the owner, was always responsive before and during our trip. We really enjoyed the dock and tire swing, the basement smelled of mold and was over bearing to be in. For the price we payed we wished it was a little more maintained and cleaned before entering. I wish we knew we couldn’t swim off the deck due to being so shallow, overall the house was just fine for our stay.

Great house on the lake, great views and great owners. Communication was excellent and informative. House has everything you need and more. Great giant game room in walk out basement. Comfortable beds for all 10 of us. Beautiful views of lake , relaxing, fishing. We also went for a hike in Hickory run, we all loved it, even the teenagers who said they didn’t want to go. Almost forgot....Great Outdoor Grill!
