The house is beautiful, we especially enjoyed the back porch and the outdoor shower. The host gave us great suggestions of places to eat and places to visit while on the island. However we had a plumbing issue with the toilet. We were unable to contact the host after several attempts we contacted vrbo who also tried to contact her and was unable to reach her. Unfortunately because this was the only bathroom in the house we had to leave a day early but Christine was generous and gave us a one night refund for the night we were not there. Overall the experience was very good. as

Loved the atmosphere of the beach house. Enjoyed our stay and the hostess had a bottle of wine for us. Only downside was that the internet was not working.

This property had a plumbing issue at the time we were to be there. Christine moved us to another property, oyster haven. She couldnt have been nicer to accommodate us. Cute place! Convenient as well.

We Loved staying in this warmly inviting cottage on Chincoteague island. Every comfort was provided in this warm beach cottage and the well- appointed amenities made it feel like home. Having breakfast on the sunny enclosed porch was a great start to the day!
Within walking distance of good restaurants, the waterfront, shopping, with a short drive to local sights.

I could live here! An adorable and well kept cottage with everything you could possibly need. Easy walk to Main St, grocery store and trolley. Stayed for Oyster Fest with my sister and it was easy to get there on the trolley and nice to be away from the action. We're both big readers and really enjoyed all of the comfortable indoor and outdoor spots to lounge. Comfortable beds too. Absolutely wonderful stay!

This is a cozy set up for a weekend on chincoteague island. Included a very nice outdoor space where we held a small lunch gathering of about 10 people.

Stayed at Christine’s house for a weekend getaway with a few friends, and this house was perfect for what we were looking for. The street was nice and quiet, close enough that we could walk down to some of the great coffee shops for breakfast, but far enough away from everything that we weren’t bothered.
Spent lots of time on the awesome back deck, enjoying the cool May weather!

We’re in the middle of a long, dusty, noisy construction project and needed a break from it. I think we chose the best week of the year. The weather was absolutely perfect, the house has such comfortable beds and porches to relax on, everything is within walking distance and there were even a stack of movie DVDs to watch when we weren’t out kayaking in the marshes, communing with the horses or shell hunting barefoot while getting nature’s pedicure. Fabulous stay. We’ll be back.

One of the most well stocked properties I’ve ever stayed in. Great location close to Main Street. Lots of space inside and out. Owner was quick to reply to communications and gave some great suggestions and tips for things to do. The deck of Go Fish cards was a huge hit with our 7 year old. We ate at Ropewalks, which also has a playground, and Don’s seafood, both walkable from the house. Highly recommend for a stay on Chincoteague!

This was the second time we stayed at Christine's cottage and we had a really great trip. The place was already super comfortable and inviting but the new furniture on the deck is a nice touch!

This was a great location for a weekend fall trip! We could easily get to lots of places on the island, and wished we'd brought bikes because it was so close to many things! House is perfect for a small family based on size and amenities (back deck is a great place to play), and we had plenty of room to rest after a morning hike. Communication with host was very clear and had great recommendations of things to do. Wish we'd stayed longer!

Very nice place to stay away from home. Quiet neighborhood as well. Will definitely recommend. And also upon booking I was not asked to pay a non-refundable $59.00 insurance.

We enjoyed our stay here, cute little cottage, nice front sun porch. Huge deck, however we weren’t able to enjoy it or even go outside much because the mosquitos were attacking. We were swarmed as we were trying to check in and every time going out side. Great outdoor shower, bring flip flops though because you have to walk all the way around the backyard to get back inside. We didn’t use too much kitchen stuff but it definitely seemed to be stocked with Essentials. House very clean. Great location, walking distance to food and quaint shops nearby. Quiet peaceful area.

This was a perfect little cottage for a few days at the beach. It was extremely clean (my husband always comments when a rental isn't - and he didn't say a thing!), and comfortable for all of us. It was close to everything that we needed, and had a well-stocked kitchen for cooking dinners. Great stay!

Great stay at this quaint property! We loved the updated deck and enclosed porch in the front and back. Everything we needed to cook was supplied in the kitchen. Owner was great to communicate with and responded quickly. The house was clean and everything was in working manner. Would definitely stay here again!
