The Charburgh Yacht Club is located at the heart of the Wild Dunes Resort's, a 7 minute breezy walk to the beach, a 5 minute walk to Coastal Provisions restaurant within the Boardwalk Inn and a 5 minute walk to the Wild Dunes Harbor Golf Course. Tucked away on a corner unit within the Racquet Club Villas community, The Charburgh Yacht Club provides its guests with streams of natural light & soothing outdoor views through the home's many windows. One of our favorite perks of this wonderful villa is sitting on the private balcony off of the living room and listening to the sounds of coastal breezes blowing through the palmetto & live oak trees surrounding the villa as well as the chirping cicadas, birds and other wildlife situated around the lagoon behind the home. Another fabulous perk is the home's newly renovated kitchen with white cabinets and granite counters. Come, getaway from it all and experience this wonderful villa for yourself! Guests enter The Charburgh Yacht Club by walking up the exterior stairs to the front door. Upon entering the villa, you will find the dining room that leads to the kitchen, living room and staircase to the upper floors. You can access the private outdoor balcony with outdoor dining table & a seating area through the sliding glass doors in the living room. Walk up the interior staircase to access both bedrooms and bathrooms. The guest bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom are located 1/2 level up from the ground floor. The master bedroom is located on the home's second floor. There is a full-sized washing machine and dryer tucked away behind the kitchen. Off-street parking on the driveway for a maximum of 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

I really enjoyed the stay here. We were looking for a place that was quite and peaceful within short walking distances to options for food as well as other sitting areas to just share ideas for future planning while enjoying the space. This condo itself was perfect for such a planning retreat with a large kitchen table and a living space for relaxing conversation. We were also close enough to the beach for a few relaxing walks. We wanted a spot that was close to everything, but off the beaten path just enough to stay focused on our planning agenda. We would absolutely stay here again for the same purpose!

The property is perfect for a family of 3-4 who wants to enjoy a few days away at the beach. The house has a big Master Bedroom with a king bed and the 2nd bedroom is just down a small flight of stairs with two single beds. Both bedrooms along with the living area has Roku smart tvs which was perfect for our family as we use Roku at home. The beach is a quick 5 minute walk and my son and I took advantage of the two boogie boards in the closet. The area is very quiet and relaxed which is what we were looking for to get away. The waves at high tide are perfect to body surf. Communication was steady throughout the booking process and prior to our stay. The owners also checked on us during our stay and provided check out procedures. The house is a short drive to Patriots Point where we toured the USS Yorktown and took a ferry to Fort Sumpter. We stayed the last two nights in Charleston but we agreed we should have stayed longer at the beach house. Like I said this is a great duplex for a small family to enjoy.

The house we stayed at was beautiful as well as the community it was within. We really enjoyed our stay and had the best time in Charleston compared to any other times we have been there. There were so many activities within the dunes. The house was gorgeous and comfortable and came with all the amenities needed! We really enjoyed the area and how close the beach was to our home. Definitely will be looking forward to staying here again!

Great for families. A playground with sand right next to the tennis courts, and the beach is a 5 min walk away. We brought scooters for the kids, which was perfect. Fully stocked with everything you may need. Would definitely stay again!

The condo is located inside a gated community and tucked along a quiet, beautiful lagoon. Short 5-minute walk with easy access to the beach. The inside was spacious yet cozy. Very clean. Both bedrooms had an attached private bath which was perfect for our group. Our overall experience was excellent, and we would recommend this condo to anyone visiting the Isle of Palms.

I only gave 3 stars for check in because the lady at the main gate was not very professional. This was no fault of the owners and not a big issue. Just make sure to give your name on the reservation to the gate personnel.
Overall the property is as described and very clean. Close to the beach and 30 mins from Charleston.
We cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen.
I loved the back patio where I could sit with my coffee and enjoy the bird life and other creatures like deer and a Racoon!
The owners were great at communicating and left us a little welcome gift!

The property is in a very good location - an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, and overlooking the tennis centre on one side and a quiet lagoon on the other. Nice terrace. We used IOPbeachchairs for our days on the beach - we suggest booking equipment a couple of days before to ensure availability.

I am a repeat visitor to wild dunes. This condo is more of a townhome in my opinion. There are stairs in this unit which was a slight issue since I have a small child. I would have brought a child gate had this feature been more obvious in the listing; that was really my only concern. Otherwise this was a nicely decorated home in a great location. The welcome snacks were a nice touch. Thank you for providing dish soap/pods/ laundry pods!

This was my first Vrbo/vaca rental experience. My stay was pleasant and the pics turned out to be a great representation of the property. Communication with the host was easy and prompt.
My only caveat was issue with the bedroom TV. The TV appeared to be in some sort of lock mode and would not turn channels. We could only get 1 nascar channel with no option to go into settings for a reset/option. Reached out to the host who was responsive with suggestions but none worked and we just decided to just go to sleep each night. But this was a bit annoying for someone who likes to watch TV in bed and sometimes uses the TV to fall asleep at night. The beds were very comfortable. Water pressure was good. All necessities were available for cooking, beach outings, and game nights. My rating would be 4.5 if there were half options due to the TV but other than that my expectations were met.

The beach was filled with wild life. We found live (starfish, sand dollars, and conchs.) A wonderful location to take the family and minutes from great food. The condo is great for a family of 4. Super clean and a fun design near the marsh.

I highly recommend this property. It was perfect accommodations for me and my 3 young boys. The place was super clean and convenient for all the Wild Dunes amenities. Easy beach access, heated pool, Wild Dunes pavilion, tennis/basketball courts were right outside the front door. Hopefully I will be staying here again in the future. Thanks for everything!

This 2 bedroom condo was perfect for my husband and me and our son and grandson. We were in IOP for a baseball tournament at Shipyard Park. The ballpark was a 30 minute drive from the condo. Baseball in the morning and beach time in the afternoon was a great combination. Short walk to the beach-all level walking. There are 2 or 3 restaurants beside Harris Teeter with delicious fresh seafood and outdoor seating. We loved Long Island Cafe and The Refuge. It was great not to have to leave the island to get really good seafood. The condo was very very clean. The bed linens were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely rent this condo again.

We were unable to find anyone who could sell us passes, including the property hosts. I would ask them to sort this out if using fitness facilities is a priority. Otherwise this property is highly recommended!
