Beautiful location, great get away. Totally unexpected and blew us away! Can’t wait to go back

Lovely position, nice grounds and nice restaurant for dinner. Little oasis
More breakfast options would be good even if it was simple buffet. Also need somewhere to dry the swimming costumes.

Super location and facilities. Loved that all the rooms overlooked the pool. The decor was awesome throughout all the parts of the Lodge. Very friendly staff across the board. Great grounds, really just wish we had more than one day (but thats on us).
A couple of issues with the Restaurant whereby we tried to change our booking due to weather looking a bit inclement and being told initially it wouldnt be possible to change to inside. After asking again they said they could squeeze us in but restaurant was full. When we got there, it was very empty. We asked to move outside as the air con was blasting and terrace was also not busy. Food was great but our dessert came after more than an hour and we had to go enquire about it, think it was just missed. We were offered by staff if we wanted something else for free but I think these shoudl have just been comped. It didnt ruin our experience but given we were inhouse guests, Id suggest not telling people they are booked out only to turn up to a very empty restaurant.

Location, pool, activities (basketball/tennis/gym/pool table) restaurant, makes things so easy with kids and dog friendly was perfect! Good sized fridge and the gardens are stunning. Staff were just lovely. Noticed some comments online about the smell but it was an occasional waft, it’s a rural property so you’re gonna get it but definitely not worth reconsidering your stay over, the good far outweigh the bad here.
The rooms really do need a table and chairs in them, there’s 2 chairs and a table on the balcony but it forces the other members of your family to sit on the floor or on beds to eat, not ideal but value for money so you weigh it up. Some cutlery would have been good too.

The property was really nice
Unfortunately it was not clean stained mattresses felt itchy in the bed bathroom was not clean

The lodge was beautifully landscaped and each nook was inviting and relaxing.
We loved the pool, the restaurant food was delicious, the games room, free bikes, everything was magical.
We are not used to staying in a one bedroom, one bathroom place for our family of 4. We found this place by accident after our other accommodation place cancelled on us last minute. We will stay in the suite next visit.

Everything it’s just gorgeous relaxed stylish quiet in nature yummy and so cool
Rooms a little drab but the whole place more than made up for it

Loved there was a restaurant on-site no need to leave for dinner after cocktails by the pool
More information about onsite spa would have been good

The Lodge far exceeded our expectations! The art deco vibe is fab, with amazing spaces like the river room, and the games room available for guests, along with tennis and basketball, bikes for use and more! Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Loved the generous pool and way the manicured outdoors lit up a night. Magical. Standout surprise was the quality of the food and drinks! Will
100% come back.
Our only complaint would be the damp smell in the spare blankets that permeated the room. Very small thing and didnt bother us.

Fantastic customer service, lovely rooms, beautiful food from the restaurant.
Right near the property there is a sewer, depending on the wind it can get really smelly

Loved the location, facilities and all round vibe.
Could hardly access our balcony due to door being really hard to open.

Bed was uncomfortable

The relaxed vibe. The art work
The bathrooms are dated and need an upgrade. You also need tissues and spoons in the rooms.

Beautiful location and has that “Wow” factor! Great for couples, girls weekend and family’s.
I had the best facial in my life!
Staff and food were amazing!
Not a big deal but the room we were in was clean and comfortable but I thought it would of been lovely to have a little update to match the rest of the lodge.

The Lodge is SO cute both day and night with lots of different areas to walk around and explore. We received complimentary marshmallows which we could toast in the outdoors fireplace at night and it was a beautiful vibe with fairy lights everywhere. It's very child friendly which was handy as we were travelling with a young baby. The restaurant is gorgeous and very quirkily decorated and again very family friendly and the food was delicious. All the staff were great. There was a free yoga class one morning which was such a good way to start the day. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and they even provided a portacot. Only a 20min drive from Kiama so great location. Overall we loved it and highly recommend!
Floor in bedroom was a bit dirty, there were some stains which looked like hadn't been cleaned properly. The hot water in the shower wasn't very hot - we turned on the hot water only and that was just warm enough without any cold water.

We loved pretty much everything about The Lodge - the food, staff, amenities, decor, location - all excellent!

The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the dinners and restaurant were great. There’s also nice areas around the bar to have a quiet drink either inside or outside. The property is in a pretty and secluded location. Would be a lovely place for a wedding.
No phone coverage was ok for us but may bother some guests.

Bathroom light kept turning on and off automatically in the first 20 seconds which was annoying when trying to use the toilet in that dark
Also only one chair in a room for 2 people reduced comfort
Lack of F&B early in the week b4 Thu meant had to find alternate food places in Jamberoo.

Beautifully put together, stylish and relaxed. Fabulous pool area, tennis and overall great facilities. Stunning restaurant, some staff were wonderful, some not so great.
Beds were uncomfortable, mattresses way too soft.

We really like the place, It was our first time at The Lodge Jamberoo.
Great place to relax. Definitely we will come back.
Breakfast was very good, we enjoyed our cappuccino in the beautiful garden.
Really we planned our trip at the last minute so we have a great time.
The price couldn't be better for our weekend at Jamberoo.

Rooms surrounded pool with easy access. Tennis and basketball court and games room and beautiful restaurant and bar.

The facilities: the pool, the games room, the steam room were awesome! the decor of the place is gorgeous. It has so much potential. The location and surrounds are very serene. We loved the cocktails by the pool.
Unfortunately this property didn't meet our expectations. On arrival we could not get into our room and were given a wrong code and the room was different than the one we booked... the towels were mix matched and we didnt have a bath mat or hand towel... the kettle was also really old and a bit yuck. There was mud on the pillow of the couch chair and curtains. It would have been great to have a compendium and more informative staff. This property has such potential it just seems there are a few teething problems. A concrete car park would be amazing to stop the mud. the rooms hopefully will continue to be done up to match the amazing decor and facilities.
5.0
the pool and location, being close to water park
no WiFi and internet, no facility to cook food, mosquitoes were everywhere and no designated car park’ the fan in the bathroom never stopped working and made all of us crazy

The location is beautiful and the pool offers the most wonderful experience of the area, as you can soak in the hills around you. The outdoor space feels very inviting and there has clearly been money spent and thought put into the layout of the shared spaces of the location. It was very clean and the grounds are great. The room size was fine and balconies are a nice addition. Lovely being able to hear the little creek running behind the building.
Just all looks good but the functionality is poor.
We are not usually that worried about beds etc but these were so saggy it was like being in a hammock. The placement of the aircon over the beds was horrific. As it's so muggy in the mountains - heavy skies and occasional rain, the aircon is a must but the placement meant we had to move the beds around to be cool but not get an 'icecream headache'!
There was a lot of staff and they were so sweet but there was a major issue management or comms or structure or something..! The service was well below par. There long delays between us ordering/ receiving meals (30mins apart from each other), receiving drinks well after we finished the main course.
We ordered drinks at the pool (the first night) and waited for 90minutes before it arrived by which time we needed to go to our dinner booking. (We only really ordered for the fun of having the option with the QR code/ service by the pool - but that didn't work so we had to go to the bar to order anyway...).
Service in the restaurant was so poor the first night that 2nd night we chose not to eat at the restaurant, which with all the money that looks to have been spent to look fab, is kind of a bummer.
We decided to put inefficiency/ poor comms down to the post-COVID reality of the service industry. We hope for the staff's sake things are resolved soon, as each of them spent time having to resolve issues (at our table but also all those around us) that could so easily have been prevented if there was some sort structure in place. We felt bad for them.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful with a rainforest feel, very calm and relaxing. The dining room was gorgeous. Unfortunately our room had a musty smell which really flared up my son's allergies. More storage/hanging areas are needed for bags and towels; there was a rack above the toilet but, well, it was above the toilet.

quiet and relaxed
not enough food choice considering how secluded it is

I love the hygiene of the rooms. The rooms had a very beautiful view to the mountains.
There was a lot of flies and was impossible to get rid off

Wonderful spot - lots for everyone to do at the hotel and in the surrounding area. Beautiful location, clean rooms, love the decor, service was great, food was great. Close to the water park, beach, national parks, restaurants etc. But you don’t even have to leave the hotel to have a good time, with a lovely pool, cocktails, restaurant, games room, bikes, among other things, to keep everyone busy!
Family rooms could use more space for storage and more places to hang towels.

Staff was lovely and it was a decent place to stay for a few days with lots of facilities and potential to become better. I really liked the fairy lights and the outdoor seating areas had a really cute set up.
We stayed in the room towards the back and there was sometimes an unpleasant smell coming from behind the fence almost like sewage. They also need really to invest in some concrete because it was all dirt when i visited and it was rainy so we were leaving muddy footprints all over the floors no matter how much we tried to wipe our shoes on the mat. Was also super excited to ride the bikes available but almost all of them were broken.

Everything was so picturesque. everywhere I looked, I needed to photograph.
The facilities were amazing, the food at Lulu’s was to die for.
The pool was still useable while it was a little cold and raining. The pool views from the rooms are so pretty day and night.
All staff were so accommodating
