About this villa rental

A stunning and unspoilt luxury villa in the beautiful residential area of San Chuchim, located within walking distance of the old town and the seafront.
The villa is of the highest class with sunshine from morning to evening.
The villa is in excellent condition with separate garage and guest studio apartment with double bed, kitchen and bathroom. Behind the garage is a separate laundry room.
The villa has three bedrooms on the first floor as well as kitchen with island and modern appliances. The living room is beautifully furnished with fireplace, dining room and access to two terraces. The villa also has a large and inviting garden with a great saltwater pool and outdoor shower.
The garden has grills / fireplaces with several fruit trees and plenty of seating.
On the second floor we find a master bedroom with private bathroom. The bedroom has access to the terrace with sea view. Here is also a TV lounge with access to the terrace, with stunning sea views. Outside the living room to the pool we find an inviting outdoor kitchen, all under the roof. The outdoor kitchen has gas hobs, oven and own fireplace / grill. The entire villa is winter insulated with central heating and floor heating. The villa also has central air conditioning throughout the house.

Description of Altea City:
Altea is unique in several ways. The old town is famous for its unique light, whitewashed houses, fragrant flowers, art, university, cozy church square. Altea is a wonderful city where you can walk around the seafront and relax on the beautiful pebble beaches and in the evening see fishing boats tough into the harbor. Here is a selection of restaurants, tapas bars and much more. In the modern part of Altea you will find all kinds of shops, banks, market hall, playground, town hall, sports and concert halls. Along the seafront you will find many restaurants, bars and can also enjoy a wonderful view of the Mediterranean as you walk from the harbor to the River Algar's mouth. The lower part of the ancient city called "Bellaguarda", the city founded by the Arabs, is very cozy. The rest of the old town that extends from the city center to the church area has a number of small charming streets to stroll on and a variety of nice views, restaurants and small shops. We had a great stay at Siv’s villa. Everything was as described and it was even better in person. It’s a short walk down to Altea old town and about a 20 min walk down to the front promenade. There is a supermarket less than 10 mins away. The view from the balcony at the top was breath taking. Would definitely stay again if back in Altea.

We found the villa an excellent choice for a family holiday. The property is spacious inside and out, very well maintained, appointed and designed. The pool area is a good size and has shade from the palm trees. The villa is in a good location with a view across the countryside and the sea. It is a fairly easy walking distance to Altea old town and some of our party walked to the coastline and on to Albir without too much effort. Cafes, bars and restaurants are also within walking distance.

This villa is absolutely fantastic! The pictures don’t do it justice there is just so much space. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and dining room downstairs and upstairs there is a bedroom with its own bathroom, living room and it’s own beautiful covered outdoor seating area with gorgeous views. Then outside there’s the covered dining area plus 2 other seated areas. Outdoors there is a barbecue, pizza oven plus outdoor cooker and sink plus outdoor shower for the pool. Short (uphill) walk to Altea which is a beautiful place. All cobbled winding streets and fairy lights. There’s a supermarket near - we managed on 1 big shop and we got a taxi back with the shopping then topped up with bits and pieces from the smaller shops in Altea. I would recommend booking a restaurant for the weekend as it does get very busy around the main square but we did find one without booking but off the main part. Great communication from the owner and the agent - thank you for having us !

Lovely house, very wel equipped, apacious and nicely furnished wich give you a peaceful feeling. The garden area is great with a nice place by the pool to cook en have nice and long conversations at the big table with family and friends. Good location. Siv ans Steinar were available and very helpful!

Lovely property, the pool area is fab with plenty of shade. The property has plenty of space and is well furnished. Aircon also works well. 15-20 min walk to the beach and 10 mins to the old town with lots of lovely beaches so car not essential but recommended if you have little ones.

Fantastic property for families or group of friends. The cleaned water tap is amazing stopping all the waste of bottles of water. Siv has eclectic style lots of Nordic touches and antique pieces - very stylish all through. Very clean and my friend whom lives in Benidorm area was very impressed and picked all the fruits from the garden and made herbal tea from the Hibiscus flowers. Only one personal comment from a petite lady that the mirrors were too high for me! So on your next antique trips a floor length mirror somewhere would be great. Loved it and thank you Siv for all your communications making sure we were happy and travelled onwards for our next week . Regards Louise & friends

Lovely spacious property

The property was clean and spacious there was only 6 of us. The stairs in the main house were not ideal for small children (2year old) but we managed no problem. I would recommend a car we initially didn’t get one but it was needed, altea is very hilly and it would not be possible to get around or to the beach without a car. Overall a lovely stay Siv the owner was available when we needed assistance.

A lot of thought has gone into the design with adequate space both inside and out . Fantastic location for both the old town and the beach with spectacular views.

A beautiful property, with stunning outdoor areas and pool.

The villa is spacious and very well equipped, with everything you require for a perfect holiday. We were a group of 7 adults and made full use of the pool and outdoor kitchen for ‘easy living’. The location is perfect with a short (but steep) walk to the bars, restaurants and shops. The old town is within easy walking distance, and well worth a visit, with cobbled streets, traditional buildings and a stunning church. We were lucky enough to be there at festival time, which added to our holiday to see all the festivities, parades and fireworks. Would definitely visit again.

Our party of 11 (7 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers) arrived at the villa and were met by Torill who gave us the keys and a quick tour, answering any questions we had. First impression were good but the photos didn’t do justice to the outside space which was amazing with various terraces on different levels, fruit trees and a fantastic pool. The pool and the surrounding terrace was probably the area we used most and it had the added benefit of an outdoor kitchen. The inside was well maintained but there are some areas that require a little TLC. The villa had ample plates, cutlery etc for use along with towels, a travel cot, stair gate, spare bed to name but a few. The views from the upstairs balcony were stunning. Only downside to the villa was there was only one downstairs bathroom/toilet and the upstairs bathroom, which was ensuite, had no door. The villa is secured by an electronic gate leading straight onto the road and is surrounded by other residential properties. The area is quietly hilly and steep in places so is not ideally situated for anyone with mobility problems however if you have a vehicle or can get a taxi to pick you up (we had great difficulty due to the language barrier) it’s not an issue. It’s about a 10 minute (slow) walk to the nearest bar, shop and taxi rank. A further two minute walk and you’re in the old town with its cobbled streets, beautiful church and stunning views. There are plenty of bars and restaurants here and it’s well worth a visit during the day, when it’s relatively quite and at night when it’s buzzing with people. Its probably a further 15 minute walk downhill to the beach and for less than €20 a taxi can have you in Benidorm within 15 minutes. We had a great holiday and I would definitely recommend this villa .
