About this apartment rental

Sitting in the little ski village of Rattendorf, this chalet-style home is perfect for an extended family or group of friends who want to hit the slopes of Nassfeld nearby. It’s a six-minute drive to Austria’s longest gondola, which takes you to the 110km of slopes of the Nassfeld ski area. The ski bus stops right at the end of the road and drops you at the gondola, so you don’t even have to worry about driving. The chalets here may be newly built, but they’ve got all the charm of traditional ski lodges with a pine-clad exterior and A-frame roof. Mountains loom in the distance and cows graze in the field in front. Inside, the timber walls have been left on display for that cosy mountain feel. The open-plan living, kitchen and dining room is a social space for group gatherings and there are two balconies to choose from, looking out over the mountains. Home truths: *One of several similar chalet homes, the layout and design may differ slightly from the photographs *There is parking for two cars with this home and the nearest supermarket is a five-minute drive so having a car is recommended *All the bedrooms are upstairs so this home may not be suitable for those with limited mobility *Two of the bedrooms have bunkbeds, so would be best suited to children
