Easy location to northern cincy - beds/pillow not very comfortable but overall good for value.

The person that checked us in was kinda rude and unfriendly. I thought that extraordinary attention was given to the check in process, even though I had pre- registration, I was asked for my drivers license, last four numbers of my social and my home address. I understand the need for identification. But I thought that was a little overboard! Also, I was not credited for my Military discount. When checking out I had to ask for a receipt. Which distracted me from checking on the military discount. However, I assumed that I would be automatically credited the discount as I had pre-registered with Hotel.com and that was a part of the quote. That should have been a given! A little RUDE all the way around,don’t you think?

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK FOR BUGS AND THAT THEY CHANGED THE LINENS!
Every time I go to a hotel the first thing I always do is check for bugs. I instantly noticed that the bed had hairs in it, looked like pubic hair and we hadn’t even lied down yet. I didn’t see any bed bugs which was awesome. I flipped over the pillow and saw a live lice bug! I went to the front desk and complained. The man wanted to argue and say that he knew the room had been cleaned and had fresh linens which was clearly not true. Eventually he gave up and they gave me a whole new room.
This room didn’t have bugs but the walls are so thin you hear EVERYTHING outside and in the hallways and next door. I tried to use the AC fan to cover the noise. It worked somewhat but I ended up getting congested from the dirty musty filter they had inside it. The bathroom had mold on the roof.
Not sure why this hotel has an 8/10 rating. Definitely NOT deserved.

The rooms were musty and damp but the staff was kind and accommodating. Breakfast was good and the staff that prepared the food was kind, helpful and friendly.

Overall good stay. The staff was super nice and the breakfast was a 7.5/10 and had a lot of options. The only bad thing was the water took approximately 30 mintes to get remotely warm.

The hot buffet breakfast was horrible , was set up nicely but the food sucked , eggs weren’t good, they had one meat it was chicken sausage it was gross , no other meat , coffee was horrible could tell it was cheap coffee . Room was very clean and beds were comfortable . Close to kings island .

The staff were great & so accommodating!!! We were leaving hotel at 5AM to hike & staff opened the breakfast area so we could grab yogurts, fruit & coffee to go! We so appreciated the hospitality!

Stayed here for visiting Kings Island, a simple 4 minute drive away. Plenty of parking and entrances all around the hotel so no need to walk miles from main entrance.
Checking in simple, will take a holding deposit for any damages, but was very quickly returned.
We had a two bed room. Which is large, comfortable and plenty of storage. Room was serviced but all amenities were replenish-able from reception on request.
Free breakfast was great! A decent selection we had plenty to start our day, always fresh and clean. Never an issue to get seated either.
The hotel was also quiet, we was on ground floor opposite the kitchen, next to the pool, but noise was not an issue.
We left Kings and travelled to Cedar Point, didn’t enjoy as much so changed our plans and returned to a kings, and we was lucky to be able to return to this hotel as it made our stay!

Everything was great, but do you like taking showers in the dark? I don’t. At this hotel they have these light switches in the bathroom that automatically turn off after 30 seconds. That’s fine, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to override this. Silly and dangerous in my opinion

There’s a film on certain things when you touch them (doors, blinds, etc) and the air filters need to be upgraded in the rooms that have caused bad odors.

We checked it at 11:30pm and our room was on the second floor. When I put a suitcase down I noticed something on the skirting board, it was a trail of ants. I then found one on the bedside and one in the bed.
We went back to reception and the lady was very apologetic and changed us to a ground floor room which was fine. She asked for the videos and pictures so she could look into the room. Bed was comfortable.

Stayed here for a visit to King's Island and it served us very well. Location is just across the highway from the park, and rooms are spacious and well appointed. Service was great and the full breakfast made our day a lot easier!

Staff had experienced a power outage earlier in the day and was working with a single computer, unable to produce keys.
They escorted us to our room every time we re-entered the hotel, and could not have been more accommodating.

The hotel is very clean, and well maintained. The breakfast was actually very good. The pool was clean, my kids enjoyed it a lot. The location is excellent! However, The staff is my only complaint with this establishment. The sheets on our son's bed had a lot of blood stains on them, same with his pillow, so, we requested new sheets and pillows from the front desk and she said she would take a mental note... Those sheets never came. I went to the front desk about 10 hours later and the guy at the front desk could probably care less. He did hand me some new sheets but he gave me some b.s. about how they don't do guest services during the day... We stayed two nights, they didn't empty our trash, give us new towels, give us new sheets or make the beds..I had to beg for new sheets. The hotel is great but like I said the staff act and work like they don't care.

Everything about my room and the property was wonderful. I stayed at Kings Island two nights, three nights apart. The first morning I was disappointed in the breakfast. There were many choices, but the ones I made (Mexican omelet, chicken sausage, mini muffins, oatmeal) were flavorless. I have eaten at Hampton Inns before, with tasty choices. On my second morning I chose basic scrambled eggs, waffle, raisin bran, and (ironically) the taste element was much improved!

Everything was ok, except we received a noise complaint! It was only me and my daughter staying in the room. We were laying in bed talking with the tv off. A neighbor complained to the front desk that our phone kept ringing and we were talking loudly. My phone did ring, but if they can hear my phone ringing and hear us talking in a regular voice loud enough to disrupt them, then the walks are way to thin! I felt this was a bit ridiculous! When I booked the room it said queen beds. They were not queen beds, maybe a double bed! The drains drained very slow and you stood in a tub of water when showering.
