We have liked staying at this property for many years. Property design and ambience are unique and welcoming. Property has been and continues to be well maintained. Balconies are very nice on second floor rooms. Drawback is that there is not any elevator service to the second floor. There is a wheel chair lift that can be used for luggage. With our advancing age, we will continue to use this property, but will insist on a ground floor room in the future.

The hotel lobby was amazing but the room was outdated. There were no outlets to plug in phone chargers. The room had stains on the walls. The breakfast was awful! Not worth it

Very nice well maintained hotel.

I booked this hotel due to the great reviews it had on here. Our room was at the back of the hotel where it’s totally different from the front of the hotel. The room was something out of the 80’s! No shower curtain for the shower, the room was hot, we couldn’t get it to cool down at all. We woke up to roaches crawling on the wall… the room was clean but very outdated. There wasn’t many outlets, we found a power strip near one of the nightstands that had 2 lamps and the alarm clock connected to it…. Can I stress the room was very outdated!

Beautiful lobby, great service

The lobby was beautiful! The room was large ( 2 queen beds room) and it was quite at night. My only real complaint is the tub was a bit too high and hard to get out of the shower but oh well. The free breakfast is a bit bare bones but enough to keep me going till I went out for lunch.

Rooms were nice and clean, however the common area carpets, painting, and other things were dated an worn.
The real killer for me was when I checked out (admittedly early in the morning), I was forced to use the “side-door” and had to carry my luggage all the way around the building. This policy makes no sense to me, as the front door is easily monitored by the desk clerk/night auditor.
This really could be a standout property, but really needs a lot of TLC to get to where it could be.

Lobby is super nice, staff was very friendly. But the hotel is not in a good condition. The control of the ventilation in the room did not really worked.

Great place to stay! I loved the french doors and balcony. Nice amenities. Very quiet. Check in was a breeze and staff was exceptional! Best of all, a special rate! 10 out 10! We would stay again!

Completely awful!!!! Absolutely dirty!

Nice hotel. Dated but lots of beautiful southwest architecture. Bar and restaurant would have been nice. We will stay when we are in Las Cruces.

Room was ok. Bathroom needed some work. Shower was pouring water onto the floor which made it dangerous to get out.

We had a great stay at the Ramada! The room was cozy, quiet, and comfortable. We were there for a work trip and we will definitely be back again!

All was great. For the exception of Saturday nights 2:00 a.m. ugliest disturbance and 6:00 a.m. disturbance from Ramada employee knocking loudly.
Asking young man and babies to leave..

The checking in process was really annoying I arrived at 10 am and checkout in was at 3pm. The receptionist was not being helpful and not trying to accommodate us so we had to wait in the parking lot for hours

The reason we always stayed here was for the convenience of restaurant and lounge and were surprised to see both closed. Going to be staying somewhere else till they are open again.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel rooms were just older and not as clean as I would like.

Good! Friendly staff

Check in was great but it was down hill from there. The rooms need to be updated and if you stay here be ready to be sleeping with bedbugs. Next day I asked Front Desk for two extra pillows and I was told, “I’ll see what I can do, we are busy!” The woman was very rude and needs to retire. I remember back in the early 90’s this was the place to be but it really needs help. Pay the extra money to stay somewhere else.

Had a great stay, but the Continental breakfast they said was served was not what I expected.. A lot of sugar not much variety Was definitely looking forward to eggs bacon And sausage Maybe even some yogurt

Disappointed with breakfast. AC didn’t work well. Closure of bar and restaurant is a minus for this hotel. Our previous stays have been acceptable and pleasurable.

Hotel lovely and confortable but carpets in hallway could use good cleaning. Ither than this, a nice experience.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. All the machines in the fitness center were broken, but the staff responded, apologized, and had their maintenence look into it.

The room was supposed to be smoke-free but it definately was smoked in. I called the front desk immediately to inform them. Another room was offered but we declined. Just want to make sure we dont get charged an extra fee. The hotel had a resort-like feel inside. I felt like i was in a foreign country.

First hand I love the “Old Hacienda Garden” vibe. Upon entering the lobby there are a set of French doors that open automatically which is very welcoming. The staff was super friendly and helpful so that is a plus. As for the rooms themselves are old but clean. They look like they got a quick remodel done, for instance some painting and new floors, so if you’re looking for super updated and new this is the wrong place to go. But if you’re looking for old comfy then this would be the place. There is a regular continental breakfast in the morning nothing special (not complaining) just say because I guess there used to be a restaurant. Every thing was clean and the fruit looked pretty not old and bruised. There are little store fronts so that was cute as well the whole structure was old and cute. I would book again.

There was no a.c. in the room, & it went from 75 to 77 degrees during the night. Was told we could switch rooms but they didn't have the a.c. turned on so it would take a while to cool down. Was told not to turn the a.c. below 69 as the unit would freeze up. The thermostat was set on 69 but the room was 75 . Was told the back door of the room wasn't a door even though it had a handle & lock. Was told later it was sealed shut. Internet was almost non-existent even with their password. At check-in with no reservation, was quoted a higher price than Expedia so has to go outside, find enough signal, make a reservation online, go back in, wait in line, & then check-in using the reservation I had to make outside. Had to prop the room door open with the ironing board while getting ready in the morning because room was so warm. Slept with the refrigerator door open.

Three negative issues. First, felt there could have been more parking lot lighting. This especially seeing the signs warning to remove everything from our vehicle. Back lot was locked down. Second, beautiful facility with a resort feel. Then notified the restaurant and bar area was permanently closed even those the amount of space was substantial. Felt like a property on its last legs. Lastly, the temperature in the lobby was a bit to warm, especially coming in from 100 degree outside. Then our room was pleasant from a temperature standpoint but the fan did not shut off all night. It sounded like a jet plane. We did not sleep well.

Really nice, attractive place.

Property was located near Interstate Highway and easy access to the main area of Las Cruses. Hotel is old but maintained well and clean all around. Will be back to stay again when I travel near by.

We always stay here over the last few years. Great location, clean, and friendly staff. I was very disappointed the restaurant closed and was replaced with serve yourself continental breakfast. The restaurant was delicious and offered food I could eat with my diet restrictions that continental breakfasts do not.

Pleasant decor, needs a little updating.

This was our second stay. I enjoyed it the ambience inside. Love the atrium and pool. If I have a complaint, it's the pillows were like rocks. But the room was big, plenty of space to walk around. Bathroom good size, too.
Although you have to go off property to get meals, there are many restaurants close by. Couple within easy walking distance.
Good place for the price.
