Everything was amazing, aside from the hot water not working correctly

Older hotel, but very charming. Room right off interior courtyard. Lots of southwestern charm.

The hotel was nice and obviously the spot to be at one time. For the most part it was clean, with the exception of fingerprints/dirt I found on the light switches and the shower head needs changing. The bed was more on the firm side. The hotel has a lot of character, but could use some updates.

Since Hotel is so old it looks kinda dirty, wood work is old, we thought it would be quieter than expected, breakfast was runchy and always low on supply, for it being kinda an old but fancy hotel it’s a bit disappointing …

We have liked staying at this property for many years. Property design and ambience are unique and welcoming. Property has been and continues to be well maintained. Balconies are very nice on second floor rooms. Drawback is that there is not any elevator service to the second floor. There is a wheel chair lift that can be used for luggage. With our advancing age, we will continue to use this property, but will insist on a ground floor room in the future.

The hotel lobby was amazing but the room was outdated. There were no outlets to plug in phone chargers. The room had stains on the walls. The breakfast was awful! Not worth it

Very nice well maintained hotel.

I booked this hotel due to the great reviews it had on here. Our room was at the back of the hotel where it’s totally different from the front of the hotel. The room was something out of the 80’s! No shower curtain for the shower, the room was hot, we couldn’t get it to cool down at all. We woke up to roaches crawling on the wall… the room was clean but very outdated. There wasn’t many outlets, we found a power strip near one of the nightstands that had 2 lamps and the alarm clock connected to it…. Can I stress the room was very outdated!

Beautiful lobby, great service

The lobby was beautiful! The room was large ( 2 queen beds room) and it was quite at night. My only real complaint is the tub was a bit too high and hard to get out of the shower but oh well. The free breakfast is a bit bare bones but enough to keep me going till I went out for lunch.

Rooms were nice and clean, however the common area carpets, painting, and other things were dated an worn.
The real killer for me was when I checked out (admittedly early in the morning), I was forced to use the “side-door” and had to carry my luggage all the way around the building. This policy makes no sense to me, as the front door is easily monitored by the desk clerk/night auditor.
This really could be a standout property, but really needs a lot of TLC to get to where it could be.

Lobby is super nice, staff was very friendly. But the hotel is not in a good condition. The control of the ventilation in the room did not really worked.

Great place to stay! I loved the french doors and balcony. Nice amenities. Very quiet. Check in was a breeze and staff was exceptional! Best of all, a special rate! 10 out 10! We would stay again!

Nice hotel. Dated but lots of beautiful southwest architecture. Bar and restaurant would have been nice. We will stay when we are in Las Cruces.

Room was ok. Bathroom needed some work. Shower was pouring water onto the floor which made it dangerous to get out.

We had a great stay at the Ramada! The room was cozy, quiet, and comfortable. We were there for a work trip and we will definitely be back again!

All was great. For the exception of Saturday nights 2:00 a.m. ugliest disturbance and 6:00 a.m. disturbance from Ramada employee knocking loudly.
Asking young man and babies to leave..

The reason we always stayed here was for the convenience of restaurant and lounge and were surprised to see both closed. Going to be staying somewhere else till they are open again.

The checking in process was really annoying I arrived at 10 am and checkout in was at 3pm. The receptionist was not being helpful and not trying to accommodate us so we had to wait in the parking lot for hours

Staff was very friendly. The hotel rooms were just older and not as clean as I would like.

Good! Friendly staff

The beds and pillows need a serious update. The bed frame in our room squeaked so loud with minor movements. The mattress and pillows both felt lumpy and uncomfortable. And the water pressure in the shower was so strong it was difficult to shower with it. Parents with children beware!
We checked in late so nothing was going on in the hotel but the place looked like it would be awesome
When full of people.

Check in was great but it was down hill from there. The rooms need to be updated and if you stay here be ready to be sleeping with bedbugs. Next day I asked Front Desk for two extra pillows and I was told, “I’ll see what I can do, we are busy!” The woman was very rude and needs to retire. I remember back in the early 90’s this was the place to be but it really needs help. Pay the extra money to stay somewhere else.

Beautiful Hotel! Not one bad thing to say about it!

Motel was nice and clean. Older but they’re working on updating. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure but surged between hot and cold.
The thing I didn’t like was they accidentally gave us the wrong room and we were awaken at 1:30 am by the person who was supposed to have our room was trying to get in and then the phone rang from the front desk. So that was annoying, but I wouldn’t not stay here again.

The property is older but still has its charm. I like that the room had tile rather than carpet.
6.0 / 10.0
This place is aesthetically pleasing. It has beautiful tile and furniture. The issues are in the details- I found the room to be dirty in the corners, the bed was uncomfortable, the plumbing backed up, the faucet did not work well, and the fitness room consisted of 4 broken cardio machines and that’s it. It is very close to campus but not the end where everything is happening. There are a lot of unhoused people hanging around near this hotel.

Disappointed with breakfast. AC didn’t work well. Closure of bar and restaurant is a minus for this hotel. Our previous stays have been acceptable and pleasurable.
6.0 / 10.0
This hotel has so much potential. The lobby is beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, but our room had issues. The toilet was extremely noisy when flushed and the air conditioner could not be accurately controlled by the thermostat. The room was either too cold or too warm.
My husband told me that the manager said the hotel is undergoing major renovations. Hopefully they will be able to realize the potential that could exist for the hotel.
