Beautiful facility and grounds. Needs refresh. Dining and bar not in service. Friendly staff and very nice indoor pool. Hot tub no longer there.

Work ladders up around building and no one using. Dirty carpets and curb appeal with lots of weeds. Only 1 person working on check in with line out door during an event.

I can't sleep because of all the noise. The music is too loud.

The bar is permanently closed, and the hot tub has been removed. The pool is only open for very limited hours that do not work for guests who are only staying one night. There was no breakfast. These are major reasons why we went here and had we known this we would have gone elsewhere.

This place is a dump

This property is run down dirty and most of the on site dining facilities are closed. It appears no maintainance has been done to this property in some time. The parking lot is all broken up.

The property was advertised as having a restaurant and bar. It has neither. I'm sure in the 60's it was state of the art but the charm is gone. For the price the the room was fine though. The Lake was also great for scenery

This hotel is extremely rundown grass growing out of everywhere and trees. Rotted wood on the exterior, etc. holes in the wall, wallpaper peeling off in large chunks. This hotel needs a serious renovation

We had a nice stay as always but when we asked for adjoining rooms the clerk said there was not an adjoining room to ours that our family could switch to. The plainly was, then she said it was occupied, it was not. Didnt appreciate being lied to.

Not much to do with kids

Our bathroom was filthy. Hair in sink and tub,remnants of someone having brushed his/her teeth in the sink. This morning found a cockroach in the bathroom.The toilet had not been well cleaned. This hotel is past its prime about 30 yrs ago.

I had expected something else,on the app it showed stuff that wasn't there anymore

This may have been the worst hotel I've booked using Expedia. I chose this one because it indicated an onsite restaurant and pub plus another restaurant on the property. Both restaurants were closed and I don't think the pub exists. The beach was unkempt and covered with goose poop. The pool water was cloudy. The property and room was rundown and in dire need of a good cleaning and updating. Maybe they have nicer rooms on site, but ours was definitely not a nice room. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The shower water did not get very warm. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

This hotel is so unique! I think it's so cute, your inside but has the feel of outside and looks like your outside. The only negative is the AC takes awhile to actually cool down the room. Otherwise I think it's a great place to stay.

Staff tries to do their best. Dirty, empty, broken, no hot tub, no one to help you with kayak, staff said that I had to wait for the next day because he did not had the proper staff. I found needle on the curtain. Did not stay for the rest of my stay. Tables on the courtyard were broken, smelly place, no bathroom available to use outside of your room, no shower available to take before entering the pool, coffee machine was broken and I requested a replacement, and I had to ask for it 3 times. Duck poop all over the yard by the lake and beach. No way walk around there. Just terrible.

This place is totally run down and bizarre. It had weird smells in the hallways, no fridge or microwave in room, no hot tub in pool area. This place maybe was cool 30 years ago but it has aged and needs major repairs. It should have cost us half of what they charged. I would save yourself and stay somewhere else.

The registration staff were all wonderful. This place however felt empty and dark. Rooms were fine but nothing special.

Property is all run down and warn out. Basically it was empty.

From what i have read, this property has gone downhill for years and it was taken over by a new owner in January. We were put on the 3rd floor far away from the front door. It was nice and quiet - the room was clean and average. The pool is working if anyone wants to use it. The place is so large, you feel alone in it, but if the new owners can clean it up and make it nice, it will be a great place. It has a lot to iffer if they can get the restaurant going and there is a lake nearby.

This place was beyond dirty , bugs everywhere , it says no dog on property but there was dog pop EVERYWHERE!!! , i found a condom next to the bed witch was beyond disgusting . I booked for a king size bed , called the front office the day before to double check they got my reservation correctly.and when i came in for checked in . They gaved me a small queen bed where me , my son & wife had to share . We drove all the way over here for paddle boat rentals WITCH WE CALLED IN ADVANCE AND THEY SAID YES AS LONG AS IT WASNT RAINING THEY WOULD HAVE . And that was a lie when we asked the front dask joe & daves with a attitude told us . “ laughing oh well who ever said that to you guys was lying bad information we wont have that told monday . Dave was the biggest jerk ever worst attitude no customer service at all . Really sarcastic even Threatened to cancel our reservation. My mother got a room as well , 2 queen size beds and they only gaved her 1 queen bed and a sofa bed witch was nasty dirty looking . When i say this was the worst get away i mean it was hell . We tried calling the front desk over 20 times and no one picks up , no one was even at the front desk . No clean towels , we had to pay 23$ for a mini fridge that didnt work and was dirty as hell . We called and asked for a new one and they ignored us . The sliding doors in the room doesnt even open or close properly. I literally could keep on about how bad this place was / is ! I paid 280$ and had to buy my own towels

I picked this location specifically because Expedia said they have a hot tub (with photos!) and I'd be walking around ALL DAY at the Brimfield flea market. They did NOT have a hot tub and removed it 4 years ago. The rooms were nice, beds were comfy, but if you get an atrium room (looking out to the pool and conference area) you will hear people pushing laundry carts and suitcase carts on the tile floors at 6-7am and it echoes and is very loud. No free coffee, except for the tiny machine in your room. You have to buy kcups from the vending machine and the employee at the front desk said that the kcup machine wasn't working.

It's not what it used to be 15 years ago. Apparently ownership charged in 2020, to the detriment of this once phenominal property, yet somehow, the price has increased dramatically. I never saw house cleaning, both the dining and breakfast restaurants are no longer in operation, there were only two luggage carts (for a 125 room hotel) and they were both missing. No part of this hotel has been maintained, and the few "repairs" I saw were literally black duct tape hold floors and walls together, perilously. The 5 staff members were friendly, decent, and amenable, but since they weren't provided with any tools for successful customer service, they could offer nothing but the grace they bring to the table. So sad to see a once beautiful property be intentionally left to rot.

The price was cheap which is nice but the hotel is run down . It needs new beds, the mattress we had sunk in the middle and was hard to sleep 2 people on it. 20+ years ago I bed this hotel was real nice. Now needs a lot of work.

This hotel could be really cute but it's very very outdated. Bedding and bathroom were clean but the stopper in the tub was broken. Also, there was no restaurant open for Breakfast as stated on website. ALL Staff were excellent. Genuinely friendly!

Great place

The hotel is in a lovely location. The room needs some updating. The carpet was old and the door to the room was banged up. The bathroom was clean and updated. There wasn’t a refrigerator or hair dryer. There wasn’t a rubber mat or anything available for the bathtub so it was slippery. It was difficult to get thru several doors with the luggage cart to get to the room.

Overall a nice place for a family trip. The layout is very horizontal. It was a very long walk to my room from the entrance. While not a terrible thing it's something to be aware of. Could use some updates.

The proerty needs to be renovated, other than thatvwe were happy with out stay.
