Very friendly staff. Trash was overflowing in most public trash cans, (in the front of the building, parking lot, and public bathrooms). Pool was not in operations and the room sink had no stopper.

I have always found that Quality Inn is a convenient, clean, and affordable location in Carbondale. A person can catch the bus nearby at the Kroger store or across the highway at Walmart. Also, there is a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant about one block down from the motel.

The hotel was filthy and smelled horrible. The room appeared to be alright until we started noticing the floors werent clean and I dont even know what all over the walls. My bed didn't have a fitted sheet, only 2 top sheets - which had what appeared to be pubic hair on them. Do not recommend.

Terrible. Took smelled like smoke. Sink, and lamp shades had stains from cigarette smoke. There was a hole by the piping of the sink. Tissue box had no tissue in it. Water pressure in the shower was nice but shower bar was broken which did not keep the curtain covering the tub- water easily got all over the floor. Hallways smelled like piss and vomit and the flooring was very uneven and bumpy. Are they even up to code?

The drapes were mismatch and shredded. There were muddy footprints on the tile in the hallway our entire stay. We were there for 2 days and they were never cleaned. The "continental breakfast" was a couple containers of yogurt and some toast. The room had a weird musty smell when we got into the room. We had called a week early to see if we could get an early check in, they said we could not do noon, but 1 should be no problem. When we got to town we were there around noon. I called and asked if they would be able to do a noon, the man told me no and we would not be able to do an early check in at all, even though we were told a week prior we would be able to. We ended up getting to the hotel around 1 and figured we would go in and see if they could do an early check in. He told us he did not think he would be able to, then gave us our room keys 3 minutes later. The room served the purpose of giving us a place to stay, but definitely not the best place to stay. Definitely get what you pay for here.

The hotel should be condemed. It stunk and the carpets were all stained. The pool vending machines were not working. The morning breakfast was lacking alot. The parking had garbage everywhere. I did not feel safe there. I could go on and on. This was the last time i stay at a Quality Inn.

hotel must be independently owned! Not a. Typical hotel experience very cheap out dated establishment , all family ran ! I stepped out and came back and the same person that checked me inn was on the phone with his bare feet on the lobby table sitting. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME BACK

The hallways were dirty, the elevator sounds like it's about to break down. The employees just look at you. The sheets had stains and/or holes in them. I would never ever stay at this hotel again. Something really needs to done about this hotel.

The hotel smelled musty/moldy. The back door was not locked and there was a homeless person sleeping near the back door. Anyone could have walked into the back door and easily broken into a room.

Nothing worked in our room tv hair dryer and the none of the phones in the room worked manager told us that all the phones in the room don’t work we would have to use our cell phones to call the front desk

My room was okay, but my coworkers room whom was booked under my account had a rough stay. Her room had burns on the mattress, a broken handle on the dresser, and hair on the "clean" towels. To make matters worse, when we arrived, her comforter had obvious stains on it, and when she asked for new sheets, the hotel employees gave her still stained set of sheets, just warm this time from the drier. The breakfast was okay, but several food items were stale. Only stay if you are on a budget, I will not be returning.

My sheets had stains, when I informed the front desk, they gave me sheets to put on myself, which were also stained. The room had a very musty smell, and the “breakfast” consisted of coffee, cereal, one gallon of milk in a cooler, and a single waffle maker with no batter in sight. Had I not pre paid through a 3rd party, I would have demanded my money back and go to any other hotel.

Stayed 2 nights in June Liked: friendly and helpful staff, breakfast, AC was not noisy and worked well, comfortable bed, the window could be opened and exited as fire escape if needed. Disliked: No pool, several patrons were noisy, window of ground floor was not locked; I was concerned about how easy it would be for someone to open from outside. I was unable to lock the window, but the night manager did secure it with great difficulty, room 110 It needs to be fixed.

My only real complaint would be that we checked in at 9 pm and when we went into our room the a/c was turned off and since it was a 100 degree day the room felt like a sauna. It was HOT in there. It took hours for the a/c to coll it down. It a good thing that we would never have a need for a landline phone in the room since the phone outlet was taken off the wall and there was no cord/wire from the phone to it anyway. LOL

There information said they have a pool, ( they have a pool but there hasn't been water in it for the last 3 years. There was mold in the clear water knob. The carpet felt sticky and after walking on it a few times my feet looked really dirty.

Went down for my nieces graduation. This hotel is horrible. It is very dirty. Smells musty sheets were ripped curtains were whipped cigarette burns everywhere.
