Loved the location. Our room overlooked the water. Stunning. Staff were very good and friendly 😊. Went for happy hour in the bar and then dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. Excellent!!

The room was very well presented, comfortable and fully resourced. It was immaculately clean. The balcony had a fantastic view over the water. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The atmosphere was enjoyable, the staff efficient and friendly, and the food delicious. We would love to stay again!

Love the hotel, I did have my dog so I was not allowed to use the pools however the beach is right there so that was great. There was also not an area to take my dog to go out, had to walk up to the street as all the grassy areas had keep dogs off signs on them.

We stayed for a little local vacation (we live on Vancouver Island) and it was great. Really friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Clean room, comfortable bed and nice view off the balcony. Great restaurant as well. Our child loved the pools. We will be back!

Great service, well appointed room. Had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant and a lovely walk on the beach. Enjoyed swimming in both pools!

Was able to check in early which was a bonus. Very accommodating. Staff throughout our stay was very friendly. We ate at the restaurant for lunch and dinner and food was very good both times. Views are amazing, property and grounds were very clean and well maintained. They even had a “doggy bag” full of treats for our pup upon check in. Nice touch! We will definitely be back.

Only issue was the noise at night from other guests running up and down the hallways. We had a baby trying to sleep and this woke her up twice. Bayside Cafe was very limited in GF options.

Hotel has an indoor pool which my daughter loved. Bathroom did not have a bathtub mat so it's slippery. The shower has low water pressure. Overall, it's a good place to consider.

We enjoyed our stay! The view from the balcony was stunning and overall, the room was very comfortable. The outdoor swimming pool was great for the kids. A hot tub would additionally be nice for the adults. The picnic tables on the property were also very convenient.

Beautiful stay. Front desk staff were lovely. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the view was breathtaking. The kids had their first room-service ice cream experience, and were totally blissed out. We woke up early and watched the sunset on the beach, it was an incredible experience. This is one of those special properties. We will be back.

The property is beautiful, ocean front, and clean. The front desk staff was amazing, sweet, and kind. I was helped by three different desk staff during my stay and each one was excellent. Best hotel staff I have encountered. All additional staff were amazing. Two pools, one out and one in. The only complaint I would have is the restaurant staff (not including the very sweet hosts and support staff) were a disappointment. Some of the worst service I have ever had, especially considering the five star service I had encountered in the hotel. The restaurant itself was gorgeous though with an amazing view. Food was great. Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel and will book again.

We had a wonderful time in Parksville! Gorgeous beaches and bike paths along the ocean 🌊. Loved the fireworks 💥 in the bay last night…an added bonus!

Fabulous stay! ocean view rooms are more worth for the prices, pay 50 dollar more and enjoy more, because what I saw the town view terraces had some wooden bars not very nice terrace view, we were so happy with our ocean view room.

To be completely honest. This was not a great experience for us at this hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again due to the fact that the only good rooms are facing the ocean and not many to choose. We unfortunately did not get an ocean front room even though I booked this through a third party. The hotel staff would not accommodate us even though I know for sure that there was a couple available considering guests who checked in after us got one even though they never requested this before. The rooms facing the street are terrible and loud. Our deck was essentially looking at the hotels roof that housed the indoor pool and we had to listen to the noisy HVAC units all night which kept me up from sleeping. The outdoor pool is probably the only nice thing I will say about the experience. It’s a nice private area with plenty of chairs and shaded areas. Overall we will be looking for another hotel next time we stay in Parksville.

We had two nights in Parksville and had booked a room at the Tigh Na Mara spa. Everything about that property was negative for us so we checked out and moved here. Two ends of the scale, as everything here was perfect. Watching the tide come in and out on the beach with hundreds of people in the warm water was mesmerizing. we had both happy hour and dinner at the on-site restaurant and were very pleased. Wish we had known about this before we came to town. Clearly the best location in Parksville. only downside, is that the beds were a little too soft.

Great hotel and restaurant. Happy hour on the patio was awesome overlooking the ocean. Dog friendly so we took our chihuahua Bella and she loved it. Staff are so friendly we will for sure be going back for another visit

Loved that this property had 2 pools. One deeper than the other so I could do laps. One pool was outside and the deeper pool was half covered and half open. Love that you can walk down to the beach out the back of the hotel. Pretty flowers outside in the summer.
