Room was spacious, comfortable, clean & very quiet. just what was needed on a business trip. the Bar had a good selection of food and drinks. The gym, sauna and swimming pool were relaxing. the only thing that let the hotel down was that the staff were over worked and ended up waiting a long time at reception to get service. My room had not been made up the last night of my stay as they had not realised that I had booked 4 nights and very little was done.

Nice hotel in a very quiet area in Saarbrücken.
Friendly staff.
Nice rooms, rustically/colonially equipped. They look good, are functional and very roomy.
Only one thing: entering the bathroom is like doing a trip back to the 80’s. I don’t know when they modernized the bathrooms last time, but they should starting doing it soon.
If they give you a room on the ground floor, there are conference rooms there etc and it can get loud.
The hotel has a spa area – I cannot report about it since I didn’t go to the spa this time.
There are enough parking possibilities on the street.
All in all I would be happy to come back.

The temperature in the room was difficult to control (either it was too cold or too hot). The wifi was quite unstable - but free. Good restaurant. Free parking basement.

This is a very comfortable, welcoming, hotel within a relatively (15-20 minutes)short walk to downtown. Saarbrucken is a great city, and this options is a very good neighborhood hotel.

Just a quick overnight stay whilst in transit, so not able to comment on neighbourhood facilities. Located in a very quite residential district. Hotel exterior is a little underwhelming, but inside the decor, ambience etc is bright, airy and attractive. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had an evening meal in the bistro area - food was good. In the morning took breakfast in the restaurant - a lovely, room with a garden-type room attached which was beautifully decorated. Great buffet breakfast with just about everything you could want.

The room was spacious and clean, the bed was low but comfort.
The food in the restaurant was very nice.
The internet WIFI connection provided by the hotel (Swisscom) is very slow, not suitable for video calls.

I was told at the Saarbruecken train station that I could walk to the hotel in 10 minutes but it was uphill and some of it an isolated area and I got lost in the end so it took me a good half hour (of panic). Even after I had found it, I had to always get a cab into town or to the University campus, even though there is a bus into town and in theory I could have taken 2 buses to the Campus. (I had to be at meetings for 9am though and didn't want to venture an hour-long trip before and after them).
The hotel is beautiful, beautiful surroundings, cute rooms with many amenities incl. bath robe and slippers, free wifi and free breakfast buffet (with everything anyone could desire, from fresh fruit to cooked). The bathroom is a bit small (esp. the shower) and the washing basin looked a bit old but everything was spotless. The bed was high quality although the mattress was a bit too hard for my liking and the linen high quality although the duvet was a bit on the thin side (I was cold at night, esp. as the huge radiators did not seem to warm up the large room much).
The staff is really friendly (I appreciate a genuine smile).
So on the minus side: far from the city centre, hard mattress, difficult to warm up
On the plus side: nice tasteful rooms and surroundings, a lot of green outside, free and reliable wi-fi in the room and in the common areas, free breakfast buffet (huge variety), friendly staff, bus stop outside the hotel. Recommended for couples with a car

A little away from downtown, but the surrounding area makes for a nice walk. It's near several small forests that are nice for jogging and the Saar is only a couple kilometers away also.

The hotel is in great shape and the rooms are roomy. The hotel staff are very friendly. The reception speak english very well. The only thing this hotel needs is air conditioning. I had to open the hallway door to cool down our room. Granted it was really hot about 36C.

Wasn't very busy, the staff were welcoming and accommodating, loved the pool and sauna, there were two dud lightbulbs in our room which was the only thing that was wrong with our stay. We often stay in this area as my wife and I drive through here regularly. Will certainly stay here more often.

We stayed here on a stopover between Bavaria and Lille. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Our room had a pull -out couch bed which was made up in advance for our 2 kids. There was a spiral staircase which led up to the bathroom and separate bedroom. The bathroom had a glass door, unusually, which may not suit all guests as privacy is compromised. Although the bath had a hand-held shower, you could not stand up in the bath because of the low pitched roof. The room had a balcony but the view was of a rail yard. This hotel is in a residential area and is not well served by restaurants. We ate in the hotel restaurant and found the food and service good. Breakfast was excellent with plenty on offer for all. Free WiFi was available in the room. Parking was free on-street or in the garage (charge). We enjoyed our 1 night stay here and would recommend it if you intend staying in this area.

Rooms were nice, the reception was really helpful and nice. Kids loved the pool and sauna which was awailadle for free the whole day until 10pm. Rooms with two floors and sky windows were really nice.
Breakfast was super. I do recommend.
