It was ok until I woke up to a bed bug crawling beside me, and after my shower I found a roach crawling up the wall.

Ordered a non smoking room, what did we get a smoking room heavy with the smell. Went to desk, explained issue and that inwas displeased. They gave me a new room. There was mold around parts of the tub/shower. Duat and cob webs along drapes, fixtures, paint peeling , missing and holes aling the walls. Had a radio.clock unplugged. Your telephone to use, had no cord to.even plug it in. Glasses to use were small.dixie cup plastic omes and nothimg was covered. It is very evident that managememt has not checked condition of the rooms. Shame because hotel is in a nice location. If it wasn't for having to get up at 3am so we could be on the road, we would have found a different hotel. I can say that we will not be returning to this location again.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. The bathroom fixtures were clean but other surfaces were not. The carpet between the beds was grotty, the desk lamp was tacky and the walls had stains on them. The had a stale, unpleasant smell. It was extremely overpriced at $230/night

If attention to detail and cleanness are not your thing, then this place is definitely for you.
As soon as I walked in to check in I knew I had made a mayor mistake booking this place. Unfortunately it was a busy weekend in Pittsburgh and the hotels near by did not have any rooms available.
The pictures and reviews here are very deceiving, this place is outdated, filthy, and on 82 degree weather we didn’t have a working AC.
A lot of rooms had a similar problem, I informed them in the morning (around 8 am) after a sleepless night, and they didn’t come check on it until after 4 pm. They changed it, and the new one barely made any difference.
It was a miserable stay, I would not recommend, unless you like to have asbestos rain on you while you sleep.

I felt like I was camping at the Red Roof. My room didn’t have any running water in my sink and the air conditioner didn’t work.

The employees in the office were very nice and professional. The room itself was clean. The property is run down. I felt okay staying there with my husband but I wouldn't like to stay there alone.

The property is old. Rooms are musty, slightly updated, cobwebs near ceiling over the bed. Not a comfy vibe at all. I slept on my own pillow and blanket. Sketchy…

Affordable price, good staff.
Didn't like that there is no trash can in the room, and room didn't smell fresh. Coffee is not good.

If you need a simple, clean and comfortable room, just a short drive from downtown Pittsburgh, this is a good option. The staff was very friendly, the rooms I had (I was there two night out of three) were clean and comfortable. But the hotel itself, on the outside, is showing some wear and tear and needs attention. Overall, a good, economical place to stop. The drive into the city for the Pirates game was quick and easy.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, no-frills and affordable stop near Pittsburgh, this is a great option. The room was clean and comfortable, staff was very pleasant. The property itself is hurting with obvious wear on the buildings. That certainly needs attention.

Cheap price to stay with average room. Wasn't perfect but I don't need perfect, I just need clean. This was reasonable for what I expected and paid

I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times when traveling and previously it’s been a great, clean and economical pick for road trips with my pet. Upon my last stay though I found it in a declined status. Towels from the previous guest were left in the bathroom, there was no garbage can, the comforter was stained at the edges, the air conditioner was functional though the face had fallen off, etc. outdoor there was more trash and discarded bed frames. Indoors the dead bolt and security lock were broken.

Place was very sketchy. No trashcans at all and toilet had a turd in it.

Room was unclean. The microwave was filthy inside. There was a big pile of dirt behind the bathroom door. It was the last-minute choice because our other plans fell through. Our friends nightstand in the room next door was full of peanuts and peanut shells. It looked as though no one came in to clean the room prior to our arrival.

Air conditioner was on high and the coolest it could be and the room never got cool…so warm in there it was hard to sleep. Not the most inviting looking property…room was okay for cleanliness…bed was not very comfortable

I liked that is was reasonably priced and close to shopping, but this place was filthy! The one hand towel that was left for 2 people was dirty from the people before. When I asked for a clean hand towel, he couldn't find one!

If you were looking for a no-frills basic small room for the night, this is for you. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable, and the bedspread was super soft. There was however plastered. It looks like it was coming off of the ceiling, but if you don’t care about that, then it doesn’t matter. I was Happy with a bed, shower, toilet and sink. Parking was right outside of your room. It is right next to the highway so if you are sensitive to the sound of cars, then this would not be for you but if it doesn’t bother you then I think you’ll be fine. The basic things were clean however there was dust around particular areas.

Great location when you need a place to stay, when traveling in the evening, between Maryland and Ohio (or back).

Rented a smoke free room only to walk into a very strong smell of smoke. Staff indicated it was OK that it smelled that way because it wasn’t non-smoking, just smoke free. Had to go to another hotel because the smoke made me feel sick to my stomach and they argued about refunding my money.
