I had my "Do Not Disturb"! sign on my door and the cleaning lady opened my door the next morning without knocking while I was still in bed!!! I was shocked and very upset! The manager apologized and booked me into a different hotel. I did not feel safe! I could have dealt with there not being air conditioning and a bathroom window with no privacy covering that looked into the shower! The office building next door was all windows. My plan was to ask for a different room the next morning since all this was just after my first and only night at the hotel.

I've stayed at the IBIS here three times now, and was disappointed with the size of the bathrooms in our rooms. They were all about 1 meter by 2 meters. Terrible.

Good location from the train station. Decent size and clean room, shower is a bit small, but water pressure is great and soap is provided, clean towels, and a hair dryer. There is a bar downstairs with local beers on tap. And they have breakfast thts not included in the price. Staff is helpful. Buses and trams are in walking distance.

This hotel is very close in walking distance to the train station and to the main downtown square of Augsburg. It is a very nice hotel and everything was advertised correctly. The parking garage was only about a minute walk away from the hotel. I will gladly stay here again.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. But the cleaning service was ill-mannered. A lady opened the room to clean while I was still in the room - I didn't hear the knocking sound and couldn't expect she will come to clean even before 9PM on the day of my departure.

The rooms are extremely small. Can hardly fit two people. Unfortunately the halls and rooms had a foul smell in them. We had to open the window to air out - in winter. Won’t be staying there again. To their credit though, the breakfast was nice.

We really enjoyed staying at Ibis. Especially its breakfast was very good. And the lady at the brakfast hall, Hatice Yılmaz, was very hospitable and friendly. I want to thank her for the waffle and for her hospitality. We will come to Augsburg next year and we know for sure that we are going to stay in Ibis again. Thank you very much again

Great condition, updated and very clean. Probably fine during the spring and fall, but certainly NOT during the summer months. As noted by others, no air conditioning, heat controls or fan make for an uncomfortable time in your room, especially if trying to sleep.

Our backpack was lost at the hotel, but the staff reacted immediately and did everything they could to solve the problem. Fortunately we had all the valueable belongings with us. Overall we were happy with the service, location and the room.

The only thing that wasn't ideal was that in the morning when I was getting ready for work, one of the receptionists banged on my door saying the fire service had detected smoke in my room and she had to come and check. She realised immediately that there was no smoke (just deodorant) and apologised.

Less than five minutes to the train station. The Ibis Augsburg hotel was very convenient to get into central Munich (and the Oktoberfest grounds). Sparkling clean and very modern with free WiFi included. Many choices for breakfast imcluding warm items like scrambled eggs and bacon. I would stay here again and I would recomend it to anyone.

I just needed a room in which to sleep, so this place was fine for that. It was really hot when I was in Augsburg and this hotel does not have fans or air conditioning. The room did cool down later in the night, but during the day it was uncomfortably warm.

We choose this hotel since it was about a 15 minute walk to the Christmas market. The location was easy to find and there was parking 100 meters away for 7 Euro per-day. The hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was not included in our room and the extra charge was more than the value of what was offered. If you want convenience, eat breakfast at the hotel, there is no other reason to spend so much for so little. The room was typical Ibis - clean, small, and comfortable. Nothing fancy.

Kept up all night by rowdy activity in corridor outside room. Little to no sound attenuation between rooms. I stay in Ibis often but this hotel is extraordinary overpriced. One star at best.

Room is small. The main issue is no air condition, when we open for ventilation, there are many insects come to my room, so we end up need to close all windows in a hot summer.
