The hotel is very old and under renovations. Doesn't excuse the build up if dust in the vents, the gunk on the shower head and the smell of old person in the room. BUT they have a quiet after 10 pm policy, staff was very kind and friendly, and I slept very well while there. Bring your own pillows!

Just gross

Very decent.

Smelled of stale cigarette smoke, damp with peeling wallpaper, industrial fans in hallway, room across the hall taped up. Disgusting overall. Suffered through one night that then found another hotel to complete the trip.

It was fine. Breakfast was minimal. Cold coffee. Air conditioner was extremely noisy. Clean friendly staff. Convenient.

The check in was fine, the staff were friendly. But the tunnel was under construction and wires hanging and tarps saying use at your own risk. So that seemed unsafe. I was travelling with kids. The pool was good. At night there was a “crazy” person knocking on doors and loud in hall threatening people. I know this is not the hotels fault but it felt very unsafe and my kids and I felt unsafe to leave our room. Other guests were in the hall and this person was yelling at them and threatening them. Eventually it must have been dealt with as it got quiet again. At checkout I asked what all that noise and knocking on door was about. They said they had video of the person and were planning to charge them, so I can’t rate my stay as being wonderful, we didn’t get much sleep. But staff was friendly and my kids enjoyed the pool!

Well located. Nice swimming pool. But the building is old and that doesn't seem clean because of that. Beds are too soft and climatisation too noisy. There's a breakfast, but was not so good and in a basement room, disappointing.

Very walkable to restaurants and the confederation Center and Mac Theater.

The hotel was good but there could have been some slight improvements in regard to cleanliness and access to necessities.

Room was extremely dirty, rust all over stove , toilet not cleaned. Etc.
Smell in hallways
When we walked outside the morning part of the roof had caved in and isolation was all over the parking lot

We went for there for our honeymoon. Not happy with the room choice and explained to the manager we were honeymooning. He upgraded our room and to our surprise had champayne and fruit waiting for us. We loved our night and were very thankful to staff

This place looks nothing like the photos, its much older and smells awful. The breakfast is just a few muffins and coffee and fruit . We booked this hotel months in advance and upon arriving we were told they didnt have any king beds ( we booked a king suite) as they were under renovations. We asked why we were not informed of this prior , they told us they have been doing renovations for 2 months and didnt feel they neeeded to contact us. Anyway staff was kind but the hotel is old ,smelly and under construction, definitely call the day before ro make sure your booked room is even available.

Low quality amenities and services on every level.

We loved the comfortable bed although the room and the entire location needs a bit of uplifting as it feels depressing to walk in all the dark and old style accents of this location.Breakfast- cheap , full of carbs options. For over $200 /night they could do better. Will most likely not stay there again.

Very dated overall. Lots of pealing wall paper and holes in walls
The pool was awesome though. Perfect temperature and very clean

Nice place but it is old and a bit rundown. However the rooms are nice and the pool was good. Breakfast was basic.

The room smelled of mildew. Was very stuffy in the room. Some things like light fixtures were broken. They changed my room and the new room. The window was screwed shut , and there was no screen. The whole facility was rather old. Ran out of things like yoghurt for the breakfast buffet, and the staff said there was no more.

The Tunnel was unique.
The Place is under construction.

When we arrived to our room (after being sent across the street from the main hotel), we found that the curtain was being used to stuff the gap above the window a/c unit. The curtain was literally outside the building (ground floor). I figured there was at least a block keeping the window from going up, and securing the room. Nope. Anyone could have just opened the window from the outside. Also, a dog barked for hours, but there was no staff in the building to alert. The breakfast had few selections and only 1 staff so lots of items ran out and had to be requested to be filled. It was priced far too high for the conditions of the building, under renovations, wires hanging, sketchy 'use at own risk' signs for tunnel, no pictures on the walls. The picture online is a gross misrepresentation of the building. Very disappointed. Will certainly not recommend.

Noisy, there was construction going on in the room next to us. Very poor lighting. Some of the light shades were broken. Electrical outlet by the window was detached. The yards need a lot of grooming and maintenance. We would not stay there again

This property is not like the picture. I refused to stay there, even more so after seeing our room. We ended up making arrangements elsewhere.

Very tired property

Carpets were filthy and stained in hallway and in room. There were batteries in the sheets. The shower had mould and orange stuff growing all over the tile and it smelled like cigarette smoke. I will never go back.

Really good hotel for the price that you are paying, with a good breakfast. However, we had bad luck stay on the first floor. Lots of noise from room above, I called reception 3 times in multiple days and didn't help much.

We got put up in a building across the street from the main hotel. It was old and in serious need of updates. The continental breakfast was lacking. There was nothing hot, only cold food. No eggs, sausage or bacon. A two star hotel at best.

The building is centrally located in Charlottetown. The building is old and tired looking from the outside but our room had been updated recently and we were happy with that. And air-conditioned. The building itself was not. Breakfast was continental but limited to cereal, muffins and yogurt. But the price was right for the location and we were happy with our room. And the pool was fine.

The hotel is in poor shape. Good location though. Don't expect nothing nice.
