This place is a let down. We've been there many times before but it certainly is the last time. No offered any help with baggages upon check in or check out. Our hotels.com vip status got us no upgrade (The Biltmore wasn't full) : no high floor, no nice view ... At 10:50 pm the only food option we were offered was an overpriced bakery. The cellar bar was closed during our entire stay. No prior information or further explanation. Our room wasn't serviced during our 2 nights stay. At all. No turn down service either. Sauvignon blanc served at their piano bar wasn't fresh and tasted like vinegar. It feels like this hotel only caters to their local customers. The hotel itself, the junior suite, the swimming pool are nice. They speak english but spanish is highly recommanded.

Overall, I enjoyed a nice stay at this grand dame of S Florida hotels. The setting, property and hotel make for a worthwhile destination-accommodation, though all are showing a bit of age. Given the historic, burnished reputation of this true classic, some remodeling/refurbishment and refreshing are in order.

Average hotel and definitely not a five star hotel . I cannot realize why they assume that this hotel is a five star . It’s indeed a historical hotel but you cannot compare it with other 5 star ! Indifferent staff . When we entered at the reception to check in late at night , the receptionist just gave us the key and that’s it . No further Infos even for restaurants and breakfast . Well guys you should know that a five star hotel has to do also with pampering and customer experience . Also the pool was dirty and there were some Mexican people who had a loud music from their phones annoying all others and nothing happened

The Biltmore is a charming classic hotel. Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well stocked. The towels were thick and there was a good shower. The entire hotel was very clean with excellent service from the pool to the bell hop to the restaurant. We had a suite with a terrace and an amazing view of the golf course. The food at Fontana exceeded my expectations. The dishes were creative and yummy.

I wish We had more time there we only had an afternoon and left really early for the airport, absolutely beautiful and an interesting history. The pool was gigantic, the towels were so plush and soft, I forgot to look and see who made them. Housekeeping was very responsive when we asked for more towels. The decor was very historic.

The Biltmore is truly a gem. My husband and I stayed at a one bedroom suite and had a wonderful time. The hotel is gorgeous and beautifully maintained, full of Old Florida glamour and historical tidbits. You are in Miami but away from all the hustle and bustle, surrounded by a golf course and a lovely neighborhood; it feels like a world away. The swimming pool is absolutely stunning and so big that it never feels crowded, and the service (pool, dining, room service, etc.) was impeccable. We will certainly return and take the afternoon tea next time. Do not hesitate to stay for a completely different Miami experience!

We booked 3 rooms for a known layover. We wanted to relax for the 18 hours we’d be there. The 3rd room was not ready until 6pm. I was unable to speak with the manager because there was not one on the property. I would not recommend this hotel. Poor management.

Service at this hotel is top notch, the hotel itself is historical and beautiful. The rooms are very old and outdated. The cleanliness is mediocre as well, full of dust. The walls are very thin and can hear guests in the hall and other rooms. Due to the mixed experience overall this is why i’m rating the hotel as a 3.
