It is a very comfortable four-star hotel, well-located and easily accessible. We especially liked the Happy Hour, which had a wide selection of food and drink and friendly, personable service. It's on a patio at the rear of the hotel.

Great professional and helpful staff and wonderful breakfast buffet

The concierge Raul was off the charts helpful. My wife and I were in a stressful situation and he spotted our anxiety from across the room and went out of his way to fix our problem, and put us into a comfortable place. Job well done Raul and thank you again!!!
4.7
The staff for the check-in and the parking was very friendly. We received great service, and the room and bed were very confortable. It was a great stay and I would stay here again.
4.7
Amazing hotel! Beautiful decor, great amenities and service and nice breakfast buffet. Convenient walk to restaurants, waterfront, and the Citidal.
4.7
Great location, very clean and comfortable rooms. I would stay there again. Highly recommend.
4.7
The hotel itself is lovely and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed a nightcap on the patio. Unfortunately our room faced a really noisy bar that kept us up until 2am. Checking out no one asked us how our stay was so we didn’t have an opportunity to discuss with the staff.
4.7
The staff was absolutely amazing from the check in guy we had, to guy who brought us the Prosecco for my friends birthday to the amazing concierge which was awesome. Those 3 made the entire experience worthwhile and just for the service they gave would return over and over.
The hotel itself needs work. The lobby is absolutely spectacular but the rest of the hotel doesn’t match this. Our room was big and spacious but very dated and even had some sort of repair in bathroom with tape. The hallway on the 3rd floor looks like something from the horror film The Shinning. It’s almost like lobby is one hotel and hallways leading to the rooms are another hotel. If this hotel was fully renovated I think it could be top hotel in Halifax and even beat the Muir where we stayed our first night. If renovations are done please advise and I will come back and see it.

Great service and comfortable beds

We loved our stay , the convenience of being right next door to our venue at Scotiabank center was too handy. The food was excellent at the in house restaurants. The room was luxurious and comfy. The amenities,we did not have time to check out,but look amazing. We will be back , for simple convenience of having everything at an arm's length . The staff here seemed.to go above and beyond ,always interacting and making sure we had everything we needed. The only hiccup in our whole adventure, was coffee (other than in room) was not available to anyone before 6:30 am. Being a person that rises at 5 , I had a bit of a wait . Unfortunately the person at the front desk could not offer any close by alternatives. As I stated , we will be back , wonderful place to stay !

Although the hotel is older especially the bathrooms the staff is wonderful and make up for it
Our only issue was that we had a pickup truck ( all that was left at rentals) and we were told it wouldn’t fit it the garage so we had to walk over to another parking garage at Sutton to park the vehicle
It was 58cd per night which seemed high especially due to the inconvenience

Great friendly staff. Pool and hot tub. Comfy bathrobes. Tasty breakfast.
4.7
The room was nice. Unfortunately, when we were there, the main elevator was down and they accommodated us with the service elevator, which was OK. Parking around this hotel is not obvious so for ease, we just opted to vallet. It is very close to all of downtown Halifax, restaurants and bars.
4.7
We liked the area around the hotel and wish we could have stayed longer!
4.7
Excellent hotel for a quick two day stay in Halifax
4.7
The room was clean but there was some mould on the ceiling in the shower. The pool could use an update. Hot tub jets were not working and only one elevator working to get to rooms. Markings for parking garage exits could be better marked. Both my and my husband's room keys stopped working during our stay.
Great location to get to lots of sights. The hotel staff was helpful.

Great hotel, great location. Very happy with my stay.

Great staff and excellent location.
4.7
Nice hotel, excellent restaurant attached to it with room service. We had breakfast which was delicious (avocado toast with egg highly recommend). Also nice bar off of lobby & patio. Hotel needs some updating in the rooms but overall clean & comfortable beds with lots of pillows! Complimentary waters in room, Keurig for coffee & tea & convenient bottles of wine to purchase. Great toiletries (Aveda products). Area is loud into the evening as it’s steps from all the bars, live music, & entertainment district. So, if that’s not your scene & you’re an early bedtime person then I would say this is not the hotel for you (although we were on the second floor and overlooked the patio and some brightly lit up building till early hours of the morning 2am with lots of sports cars/bikes revving up & down street - possibly different if on a higher floor or opposite side of the bldg?) has a nice small pool & hot tub & small gym above it with a peleton bike. Only draw back is you have to go through gym to get to pool. Location steps from Citadel and can walk to other attractions &/or take transit or the pay scooters (which are great to get around Halifax!) We stayed here at end of our trip so only two nights but had spent 4 nights at hotel down by pier first. Preferred to be down there as more convenient to walk to everything and more our vibe. Staff & service excellent at the hotel, with easy check-in & out.

We enjoyed our stay
4.7
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Citadel and didn’t realize it was quite uphill from the harbour! But it was central, convenient, and close to excellent dining options. Will certainly choose it again (and will stick to runners).
4.7
Walkable to all sites
4.7
Everything was ok.
The rooms just felt tired and needed some refreshing.
4.7
Did not agree with being charged for hotel parking!! Also, only one elevator operating and Television was not very good (useless trying to. Get channels).
4.7
The Prince George Hotel is just beautiful!! Everything about it was perfect. The location can’t be better, the staff is amazing a huge shout out and thank you to Craig the Operations Manager. He went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable & memorable. Also Matthew was so sweet ready to help and recommend great stops to visit. The restaurants and the terraces were amazing including the drinks and Sunday brunch. The rooms were very spacious modern and very clean with lots of amenities. We were 2 couples from Montreal and we loved our stay at the Prince George. We would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Halifax who enjoys a quality hotel with great and friendly service. If I had to find a small possible improvement, it would be to add a handheld shower. The rest was perfect. Thank you to everyone at the Prince.
4.7
It was a great property in all aspects (bar, food, cleanliness, comfort, convenience, and staff). All the employees were amazing. Matthew, the concierge, was so helpful, we wanted him to come along on the rest of our trip, so it would go as smoothly as it had gone at Price George Hotel. Thanks to everyone!
4.7
Clean, room nicely furnished, staff friendly and capable. Outdoor patio an attractive perch to eat; dinner was tasty--a little slow to arrive, but we sat in comfortable chairs and relaxed - we weren't out there for fast food. Hotel had a great location for us - short walk up hill to the Citadel, and just a couple of blocks from the popular Halifax waterfront and interesting restaurants.
4.7
No coffee in hotel and limited food menu and times. Very nice hotel and keg across the street.
4.7
The man at the front desk was so friendly. And the chauffer was friendly as well. The beds were very comfortable. Need better TVs though.
4.7
Stayed here on a friend’s recommendation so I knew it would be nice but it was so much more than I expected! For starters, the parking was free which is unheard of for a premium downtown location. We were put on the “crown” floor (6th floor or top floor) which has a lounge full of complimentary beverages and snacks. Again, an unexpected service. My daughter was impressed with the bathroom toiletries supplied by L’Occitaine. Lastly, we received complimentary breakfast for all four of us that I did not know was included in the cost. I expected a light continental breakfast but we got the entire gourmet breakfast buffet, valued at $80CAD for all of us. I can honestly say this was the absolute best service I have ever received from a hotel for what I paid. I will definitely be staying at Prince George the next time we’re in Halifax!

Booked a business class room on 6th floor.
Loved the extra amenities, bed was so comfortable, breakfast included and access to snack/drinks room.
I would absolutely book this hotel again!
4.7
Convenient location, clean and modern hotel. Perfect for short business stays.
4.7
An excellent location to explore downtown and the waterfront. Lovely room, quiet despite proximity to late night activities and venues. Staff were helpful, friendly and had great advice for dining and events. Would absolutely stay here again!
4.7
Lovely comfortable hotel. Room was very well maintained. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast available and the bar was a pleasant place for an evening drink and light meal.
