The employees were exceptionally nice and very accommodating. The young lady working the overnight made fresh coffee when I went down before breakfast had started. Great people!

I asked for a connected room with 4 beds total like the picture showed when I booked the room but ended up getting thrown in a double and having to get another room down the hall way

Great place to stay for volleyball games at San Angelo State! Restaurants and shopping nearby were great!

We booked this property for the indoor pool. Our reservation was for 4 people. The pool was ICE cold. The room was only stocked with 2 towels. When I stopped by the front desk to ask for additional towels I was told that they had no extra towels because they had issues with guest not bringing them back. Then I said we booked the king suite with a pullout sofa for 4 first and they only provide 2 towels and no blanket or sheets for the couch, she said what the king suite only come with 2 towels.
An hour after checkout I noticed they charged my card for a night in the room and an incidental charge. I payed through Expedia ahead of time and had to call to have them fix it.
We will never book here again.

I was told I could check in at 3 but when I got there I was told my room still wasn’t ready and I could come back in about 15 minutes when I got into my room finally I was pretty upset to see the beds weren’t even made properly it was very sloppy and the ac didn’t work to well either not to mention u could tell the shower hadn’t been cleaned right but overall I guess it was an ok stay

Friendly staff and nice breakfast!

Tub was peeling. Pool was rusty and green. Breakfast was clean and organized but was instant eggs and cheap sausage. I would not stay there again.

The front desk employee was not very welcoming. The toilet seat was barely attached. I called requesting maintenance and was told they didn’t have any on duty. The sheets did not fit the bed. The corners popped off the bed. The breakfast was very limited. When we returned to the hotel after dinner the lobby was full of customers waiting on their rooms.

The bed was super comfy but the hotel could use some renovations overall.

We arrived just before 3pm (check in time). Was told our room was not ready and they did not know when it would be ready because housekeeping was behind. We were also told we were the only ones there waiting for a room. After about an hour wait, a room was ready. It was not well cleaned. The beds were nicely made and it smelled nice but the longer we stayed we noticed more things. The bathtub was gross, the shower head was caked in grime, towels had stains as well as the bed linens. The exercise room had broken equipment and the pool was disgusting. The staff both at arrival and the next day were not friendly, helpful and were just rude. Many things could have been overlooked if the staff wasn’t so rude. We only stayed one night and if it weren’t for it being a holiday weekend we would have gone elsewhere but everything nearby was booked. We love San Angelo and hope to visit again soon but we won’t be staying here again.

Bathroom towels were damp. Bathroom smelled like a dirty mop.

Beds were like concrete
Ac wasnt enough to cool the room
No shampoo / conditioner in bathroom.
Thw whole hotel had a very musty, stale smell - bought an air freshner for our room
Very low standards for a hampton - will not be first choice when we return to san angelo

We couldn’t check in until 2hrs. Later due to limited personnel, yet we were asked to check out on time. I feel that some sort of discount should be allowed as incapacity to check in caused additional expenses.

The hotel has an excellent location, and the staff at the desk and the way breakfast was prepared were terrific. They love their guests, it was evident. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and I felt very safe there. Excellent work by all on the team.

Lady at front desk took exception to being asked for our rooms to be assigned next to each other. Took the deepest sigh before answering whether it was possible to assign the rooms next to each other. Afterwards, she was fine but that was not a great first reaction.

The property is currently being renovated, it is noted upon check in. Though through the renovations, everything has been wonderful and everything we need for the night.

The hotel needs some love. There’s a construction project taking place in the front. The automatic doors don’t open/close you have to do it. Which normally, when I’m not carrying two suitcases and keeping track of young children isn’t a big deal

Hotel in middle of a remodel....rooms are ok, but everything else...Cant help but think that should be on their website, or reduce their pricy toom rate. Customets even have to slide the front doors apart and closed.
Breakfast also not what it used to be in a Hampton.
This last complaint I feel needs to be addressed by Hilton. Booked an accessible room, at an extra price of course. Bathroom not at all suitable for handicapped patrons. No bars to help get off the cery low toilet. Only one help bar in the shower/tub. Would help you step in, but nothing to help you step out. Tiles extremely slippery.

Everyone needs to know that the freeze last week paired with the fact that their front doors would not close created a frozen pipe situation and flooded the entire first floor. The walls are peeling off. There is no sheet rock in the entryway and our room was slated to be on that first floor . The Front desk person told us that he would refund the room but going through Hotels.com. I’m not sure that happened. We went to another hotel.

Very nice stay. Very clean. We did not stay for breakfast, but it was included. Would definitely stay again.

Our sheets did not fit the bed and they just kept popping off all night. The shower drain did not drain properly, we had to turn the water off mid shower to let it drain then resume the shower. The shower was all chipped and rusted. The room was dusty and we had big black beetles all around the floor. Definitely will not stay again.

Everything was great. The front desk staff was great. Ashlee at check in sent text messages to make sure my room was up to par and offered further assistance should we need anything. The lady at check out was friendly as well. She made sure my dogs got a treat before we left the hotel. Breakfast person in duty was good too. She made sure everything was refilled and grabbed some extra bagels for me from the back. It was a good stay and I appreciate the hotel being pet-friendly. I will utilize the indoor pool next trip. 🙂

The property was clean and smelt good. We were informed upon checkin there were no pool towels available at the moment but they would bring them out when done. We decided to go anyway and set the room temp up so when we returned the room would be warmer. The towels were not ready. We walked back to our room soping wet to a cold room that doesnt have a working heater. When we told the front desk she informed us the hotel was sold out and nothing they could do. We requested extra blankets, they came up 30 minutes later, doenst seem long unless you have two children shaking from the cold. Last the tv glitches, and we dont have enough towels in the room. We do the drive between texas to New Mexico or Colorado 2 times a year always stopping along the way. we will never stay here again, the lack of urgency or recommendation for the room temperature and towels had made us think it would have been better to drive straight thru.

Upon check in there was not enough bed linens or towels laundered to supply our room properly. We had to wait two hours, for them to be cleaned, so they arrived at 9PM. The pool is dirty and full of rust. The following day, the water to our room was disconnected due to a plumbing issue in their building. The sofa bed was miserable, bar jabbing your back…you could feel every spring. Awful. We ended up leaving mid day even though we were supposed to stay another day. The staff acted as though we should just be ok with the fact that their was no water to our room, and just understand that it was being fixed within “a few hours”. They did not offer to change us to a room with water. However they did refund our fee for the room in full. The staff member that did that acted as though we were being unreasonable and was not super kind…nor apologetic for the no water issue.

This was a last minute booking for a family get together and this hotel was chosen for location. Though it seems to be an older hotel it was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful so we will choose to stay here again.

The staff was AMAZING

The room was nice but plumbing maintenance poor. The sink didn’t drain properly and the bathtub faucet dripped non stop. Earplugs necessary. Breakfast was good with very friendly attendant. We thought $50 for a pet steep.

Front desk clerk was very nice, someone had “already checked into our room”. Had to find another room. Room was ok but not overly clean. Kind of disappointed.

This is an older Hampton Inn, and it’s ready for a remodel. The bed was hard and sagged a little in the middle. Bathroom counter was very small. Room does have a microwave and refrigerator.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was kept stocked.
Location was good, although the odd-numbered rooms face a garage with loud cars.

Very convenient for a short stay.
