Property is well located and convenient to the I65 N/S and 280 corridors. Property has quite a bit of deferred maintenance needed, but was priced accordingly

Once in the room i notice the putside noise was loud, even over the ac unit. I went over to look out the window & my window was opened up halfway. It made me nervous. The bathroom has been remodeled some, it has a nice sink & plenty of counter space but the tub is outdated & there were hairs in the tub & floor around the toilet. This was my second time staying at this location & my first experience was much better so i'm unsure if i'll stay here again on my trip next month.

The rooms were decent. Not overly sure about cleanliness. The room appeared clean, surfaces and such. But we found someone else’s shirt under the armchair and hairs stuck in the towels. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The pool was closed though, same with the gym. That was upsetting

The room was clean and well laid out. Bathroom was huge. There’s a small refrigerator, microwave and a coffee pot! Plenty of lighting. No carpet!!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic!! Very comfortable, made to feel at home, and worked out great for our family on our way to PCB! We will definitely stay again!!

Everything was good until housekeeping showed up banging on my door and attempted to come into my room as I was in the bed. My checkout was the next door. Very annoying

Well I got a suite and first thing when I walked in the room I fount a dead roach bug but the suite was nice and roomy otherwise than as leaving my room this morning there were 2 black men asleep in the middle of the floor and 2 more sitting on the ac by the elevator that was not a good think we didn’t know what to think was going on

No hot water, no air conditioning, could hear everything and everyone in the rooms beside us. Then they partied til 3am and the front desk wouldn't do anything about thes parties and nothing was done about all the yelling next room over. Breakfast was horrible couldn't get milk for ceareal and they were rude and obnoxious. I will never go back there.

It's currently under construction on the first floor and the pool is closed so things are a little disarrayed. Wasn't a fan of the side door to the hotel being left open at all hours, it felt a little unsafe. The rooms were clean and very cool, really good channel selections, comfortable beds and the coffee was really good.

I will never stay there again. I’ve stayed there several times but never again. They allow people to run wild and make tons of noise at night. Most it’s contractors working in the area and it’s pathetic how loud it gets at night. People slamming doors, televisions turned at loud volumes, and overall too noisy. Pathetic.

Front desk attendant was professional during check in and check out and our room was clean. However, I’m not sure if they are remodeling the first floor or not but the hallway near the elevator looked like a huge mess so not a very good first impression. Not a lot of parking, luckily there is one reserved veteran parking spot up front and we were able to utilize that. it was decent for a quick overnight stay

Management at property and Hotels.com representative both deserve a 1 out of 5 stars. I called Hotels.com to cancel reservation due to our daughter being admitted to the hospital in place of out patient procedure (initial reason for booking) and was told by the rep that they had spoken with the hotel and trip cost would be refunded. After 4 days I received an email from Hotels.com saying the hotel will not honor the refund as manager didn’t approve. Called again, they called property, manager was out but due to return next day yet was told wouldn’t be an issue. 13 days later and no communication or refund. POOR SERVICE ON BOTH BRANDS.

Property was under construction and a complete mess, pool was closed, work out area closed, limited elevators. Strong smell of pot in halls. Room phones non functional and no internet! The floors in rooms were DIRTY..our socks were black! Shower water barely warm even on full hot. Ink pen writing all over our bottom white sheet. I would avoid this property until construction is complete. I feel like when a property is in this much of a mess it should be disclosed prior to booking, or at least close areas under construction.

Wasn’t advertised that the hotel is under construction. Also not advised that they place a $100 hold against the card used for booking regardless if you opt to prepay or not. $25 pet fee. The room itself was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was meager and attendant was adamant that my service animal was not allowed in space so I had to return him to the room.

The bathroom has urine on the floor, plus pubic hair in the shower. A folded towel had a long, dark hair in it. The bed sheet was dirty too.

Property was messy under construction which they should have mentioned during booking. After checking in, we walked through the hall to the elevator and can already smell a strong marijuana smell. The elevator is very dirty and seems broken down but still works. Got to our room and found there’s a lot of problems with our room. Took a shower and found out the shampoo and body wash bottles were completely empty! The drain was clogged so it creates a puddle as you shower. There is no hand soap too! The toilet seat was very wobbly! The door was not made well to cover the bottom so there is a big gap which people can hear you from the outside and you can hear them from the inside. The price was cheap for a reason. The breakfast has nothing besides plain bagels, bread, hard boil eggs, cereal with no milk, empty waffle batters and some apples that are hiding in a basket high above that you will missed if you don’t look up. Then there’s yogurt but you HAVE to ask the lady to personally hand it to you. This place feels unsafe to stay if you have small children like us. Wouldn’t recommend at all!

The hotel was under renovation and this should have been noted in its description. It appears that a great of my critique will be based on this. My best friend and me traveled to Birmingham for a quick short Girls' Trip.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was an easy process. The rooms were clean and the decor was updated. Loved the amenities in the bathroom. They had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in large quantities attached in the shower or vanity area. This saved me from using my personal products. Although the room was clean it could have used a bit of a spit shine. The walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbors. The breakfast was misrepresented in the advertisement. It should have only been described as a continental breakfast. There was no meat protein, no eggs and very limited beverages. There was 2 waffle irons that people had to stand in line to use.
The area was safe and well-,lit.
If you are coming into town just to lay your head down and not interested in spending a lot of time in the hotel, then th.is hotel is worth it for the price

There was construction going on the second floor but room keys were still being given for that floor. The workers took up the whole floor that if you were on the second floor, you were told to take another way to get to your room. There was also a $100 refundable deposit that is required for damages but from how unclean and how the elevators operate, there is no reason for there to be one. Despite this, the staff were pleasant and the stay was fine.

They were renovating the place and there was no gym, no pool, the breakfast was very basic, the ice and water had a weird, almost metallic taste and everyone on my floor seemed to slam their doors well past midnight when they went in or out of their room. If I had. It already paid for four nights, I would have left to find another place.
There were broken tiles in the car breezeway, the outer door at the entrance was broken and always open, the carpet was very dirty on the first floor. The elevator was damaged and jerky when moving creating an “are we gonna make it?” Sensation every time I used it. The room itself wasn’t bad. I could set the thermostat to whatever temp I wanted.

Got to the hotel around 8:30 at night and when we went to get in the room assigned for us, someone else was already in the room. We paid for a king room and due to them assigning us someone else’s room, we were told we would have to taken a room with a double bed. The hotel is very dirty and not as shown in photos. Absolutely no hot water for showers. Close to a major highway so it’s super noisy. Just overall a poor experience. Would not recommend.

I understand that they are currently renovating, but it would have been nice to know that before booking. Pool was closed, also not disclosed in booking. Our room was left in a seemingly "almost ready" condition. There was only one set of towels, no extra blankets or pillows, a mysterious set of keys left in the room, no hand soap / shampoo / conditioner / bodywash...and there were roaches in the room (I have a video).
Also, I tried to add photos and it doesn't work.

For starters when you first come up the driveway is all busted up and missing pieces. After check in we had to go outside and drive around to the back to access the elevator to get to our floor except the elevator scared the bejesus out of me. We were on the 5th floor and boarded the elevator at the 2nd floor. As it started to reach the 5th floor it started shaking really bad and sputtering and slowed down and was acting as if it could not make it. We never used the elevator again. The room was ok. The air was not able to be adjusted so it was stuck on 58 degrees and we were freezing. The pool is closed and apparently has been for months. The free breakfast was very slim but doable. Some kids were running through pouring stuff everywhere and spilling things and the parents nor staff bothered to clean it. Made for an embarrassing moment as the parents ignored.
