Overall it was a great place to stay. They need to do some bathroom maintenance, as the faucet was not mounted to the sink and the pipes under the sink were leaking.

The staff was great. Helped with special needs. I found the cleaning to be suspect. For example. The bathroom door had spots on it, like it wasn't wiped down. Couple of pillows could have been fresher.

The main reason I chose this location was because of the clean looking room and the pool. My girlfriend wanted to enjoy a pool to relax in. When we checked in no mention of the pools heating system not working. If we would have been told about the pool we would have gone elsewhere. All so the bathroom shower curtain rod screws were halfway out of the wall. If someone was on the toilet and the screws came out of the wall it could have turned into a huge problem. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

Checkin person tried to talk me into a room with 2 queen beds instead of the king bed room that I booked. I hate that!! Hotel is showing some wear, but it was clean.

It looked and smelled like it had not been cleaned in a while. The toilet had mildew growing in it. I checked out after 2 hours and did not get a refund.

Beds were comfortable, room was decently clean, pool room was dark and dingy. Pool itself was too cold to use, and hot tub was out of order. Continental breakfast was an average breakfast, nothing to write home about with basic options. Overall not a bad spot to sleep for the night, saving grace is the options of family activities in the area

Check in was relatively easy, once in our room we noticed a placard stating the items in the room were for sale at the front and charges would be put in place if the corresponding item was not in the room upon check out. We did not have an alarm clock in our room when we arrived, so we informed the front desk to ensure no charge. Satyed 2 nights and the day we went to checkout I was covered in what is now assumed to be bed bug bites. My boyfriend had a few but i have counted over 20 bites just from the 2 night stay we had. The staff seemed very inattentive as one night when returning late the front desk attendant was sleeping on the couch in the lobby. With the general unsanitary environment coupled with the staff, overall I would never stay here again.

Our stay started with a great welcome. After that it went downhill. 1 king bed executive suite - the cabinet for the fridge had hanging door partially off. The bathroom a dead spider in it. dirt in the on off light switch looked like had been there not cleaned for a century. fold out couch was very old and had a huge stain on it and sagged bad. Chair in that area also stains. We couldnt' find remote for one TV. While looking all over for it we found someones discarded crk pipe under the cushion of the couch. YIKES. Bathroom was fairly clean . Fan didn't work. Smell of something and cleaner they used were disturbing. we were lucky to shut off the air and crack a window open the entire stay. Breakfast was a shame. Toilet seat was burned in several places turning the seat to a gray color with melted spots. Beds were okay, some stains on the sheets (small ones) but you could tell they were washed and fresh. The area by the window and the bed were much better than the bathroom and "suite" area. I will not be staying there again. BUT the people working there were very friendly. nice smiles and chatter. Luckily we were gone from sunup to sundown, so all we did was sleep.

The location was great for my needs and the bed was comfortable but I was a bit appalled at the state of the toilet seat which looked both old and dirty. The shower emitted this concerning squealing noise too, which made it seem like it was about to explode any second. The hot tub also wasn’t working which is a shame because that’s one of the main reasons I booked this hotel and no one was at the front desk at the time to ask about it. There was another guy ahead of me who said he’d been waiting for awhile so at that point I just turned around and went back to my room. The breakfast guy deserves a nod though for making sure I had everything I needed to eat before closing up for the morning. Overall less than enthused about the cleanliness and facilities and would recommend looking at surrounding hotels if you plan on a longer than 1 night stay.

Labor Day wknd, going to MN Renaissance Festival, Shakopee, excellent weather. We got hot & sweaty at fest, looked forward to the hot tub, and pool.. broke down jacuzzi and no heat pump for freezing pool, which was salty?? To our room, disappointment with the bathroom exhaust fan, not working, tv remote was crappy. Bed was okay after a long day..walking distance to Applebee's was a +.. Breakfast could have been better. This was a nicer place when it was a Country Inn & Suites.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Our sheets were dirty, there's blood on the walls, the light fixtures in the room are falling down, the couch (with the pull out bed) is filthy, the hot tub doesn’t work, the pool is an ice bath and filthy, and there is NO kids pool. We came here with our kids for swimming after the RenFest. Unfortunately, fun swimming wasn't had.

Overall happy. The female who chatted with us was very friendly. Would be nice to have some fruit for the breakfast. And yougurt. Our room also had a strong perfume smell. Maybe like men’s cologne. Could also been a cleaning product. But very strong smell.

First of all, if you have a hard water town, CLEAN THE SHOWER!!! The shower spicket had disgusting residue that was caked on that wasn't cleaned in years. The bathtub had paint and nasty residue scum stains. Black mold around vent, even the toilet paper holder was all busted up so when you pull it, it falls on floor. When I brought all this up to them, it was like oh well, what do you want me to do? How the heck do you put a roll of tp on a busted tp holder. NO WAY IN DID THIS PLACE SCORE A 7.6 OR 8....MAYBE AT BEST A FIVE!! THEY BOUGHT THE REVIEWS!! The breakfast really SUCKED!!!! Who serves spoiled orange juice? Oh yeah, they do!!! Stains all over the carpet??? EVER HEARD OF REPLACING THE CARPET??? I recommend doing a better job of reviewing than I did. GO ELSEWHERE!!

very trashy property, beer, wine and hard alcohol bottles (and I literally been 10-30) sprawled along the property. Broken down vehicles, guests with only towels on drinking until late hours. Rooms were musty, damp and smelled like mildew. would never stay here again.

I booked a room there because the price was reasonable and because it had a hot tub. When I got there the hot tub was closed for maintenance. I was really upset. The manager gave me a room with a jacuzzi for no extra cost. Definitely made my day. It was really clean, comfortable bed and super nice staff.

While the staff was helpful and friendly, in our room the sitting area and bathroom weren't clean (crumbs on the floor behind the furniture and area around toilet not clean). The stopper for the bathtub and the alarm clock didn't work. The breakfast buffet frequently ran out of food.

We weren't happt with the cleanliness of the hotel. I walked around barefoot in our room for a few minutes and my feet were black. Theres was dirt and old food on the floor that was missed during cleaning. Overall it was run down and didnt feel clean.

We were very disappointed that the jacuzi wasn't working and none of the equipment worked in the workout room. Those were two pluses when choosing a hotel. Also the breakfast could have been better. The eggs must have been powdered eggs . They weren't eatible. Loved the staff!
