Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we were not able to stay. The lady at the front was very understanding. She explained the process I would need to follow as I booked through a 3rd party. She was not able to reimbursement but that I would need to reach out to hotel.com about canceling to see if a reimbursement is possible.

We stayed 4 nights, and room service was good replacing towels, etc., but not wiping off nightstands (stains left from glasses), and just was not as clean when we first arrived.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in South Portland! The front desk staff were super-friendly, and the hotel gym was great! Our party of 4 booked a suite with two beds and a pull-out couch, and we were all very comfy with plenty of space. Would book again!

We were there for four nights september 2024 to explore the Portland and OOB area. Great place, nice room. Complete breakfast is included. Easy access to main roads, restaurants and shopping center. We enjoyed our stay.

Got in at 10 pm. We booked and paid for king. They put us in a handicap room. In the past I’m always told about handicap room which is fine. We’re on an anniversary trip. Would have wanted regular room. Noise all night. From outside traffic. Boxes filled breakfast area. I mean maybe they can wait till after breakfast Just a disappointing first night. Bed was comfortable but my wife had reaction to sheets. I called front desk. Nothing they could do. She slept fully clothed to avoid contact .

Not one of the nicer places we've stayed in. Dirty washcloth left hanging on the shower curtain. Moldy caulking in the shower. Stains on the bedsheet. Breakfast closed up early on Sunday morning. Busy weekend and only one elevator was working and that sounded questionable. Very disappointed.

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, great pool and breakfast… but the bed was awful, had a major sink hole so my daughter and I had no choice but be rolled smushed together sleeping in the center because you physically couldn’t stay on your side of the bed, it rolled you inwards. I don’t know if all beds in this hotel are like this but for my family if the bed has a sinkhole we definitely don’t risk it again and won’t return. We also stayed at the Days Inn down the street on this trip and would instead go there again because of the comfy beds and great breakfast, although no pool like this hotel has.

The bathroom sink had a clogged drain and the faucet had no water pressure. The room layout was awkward, with the shower separate from the sink. The bed was comfortable, though. And the shower was ok. The carpet looked a bit like it needed cleaned.

Terrific staff, comfortable room, free parking. Close to everything we needed for an impromptu weekend in Portland. Not far from anything we wanted to do. Shops nearby if you forget anything. It is next to a highway, so if you are a light sleeper, this may be a problem. Breakfast was included and coffee was really available.

This is a great hotel, in good condition, with comfortable rooms and in a very good location to explore the Boston area. We stayed for four nights and had a suite, and were expecting to be able to do some basic cooking, but were disappointed to discover that there was no hot plate and no sink. Basically the suites are just spacious hotel rooms. The hot breakfast was ok, although the coffee tasted bad... not sure if it was the coffee or the water. The cleaning staff were excellent and changed our towels every day.

Great stay at this hotel, about 15 min drive to downtown Portland. We loved how spacious the rooms were and had a pull out couch. We had a great amount of space for a group of 4 but this is definitely great for family/friends of 5. Parking was easy and convenient. Clean amenities and facilities.

Good location, clean and staff was helpful. The breakfast was okay, could've been better. Toaster half worked. One of the elevators sounded like a cable was about to snap every time it was in service. Surprised hotel still let people use it, just said the technician is coming in few days, pray it doesn't snap before then I suppose.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights with my family, and we absolutely loved it. The hotel was very clean and quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family. Overall, a fantastic experience.
