Great clean reasonable priced hotel. Managers were friendly and acomidating to customers.

Staff was helpful. Was outdated. The air conditioning didn’t work. Room was warm. Outside steps were rickety

It was ok. Management was friendly. Only issue was poor shower pressure. We mentioned problem the first morning but it was never fixed

Room was clean and comfortable.

While the property was convenient, adequate, and met expectations, it seemed somewhat well worn and in need of a refresh of facilities.

Very disappointed considering the cost. Did not restock breakfast and some items were stale. Would not recommend. I comment on few hotels but this deserved a comment.

Fair, would probably stay again

It was ok. The breakfast was not very good. No coffee creamer. Fruit was past over ripe.

Shower did not work and looked unclean.

Property was clean, the room we had was very large and check in was quick. Beds were comfortable and despite the hotel being completely full and on a busy street, it was reasonably quiet. It is an older property and there is no elevator and I was travelling with an elderly relative so this was an issue for us since we were on the second floor and had to drag our luggage up. The included breakfast is bread/pastries and cereal so just be prepared for that- probably not what you have experienced at other hotels

This hotel was clean, spacious, and reasonably priced. We watched the staff person cleaning the breakfast area, which was nice, and he did the most thorough job I’ve ever seen. The breakfast could have had more options, but that’s my only small issue.

It appears that the management is trying to get the motel updated. Much of the facilities are good. The bathtub in our room was pretty worn and stained. The bed, however, was great. It was very quiet there.

I was allowed early check in.

On vacation and stayed here at Days Inn. easy parking with a trailer and the personal was great. only one bad issue and that was the A/C, it couldnt keep up with the heat and the personal gave us a fan to use. All in all was a great stay.

They are working to improve the facility. The room however had no shampoo or conditioner or lotion. Basic things. Also shower had a massage head which is not workable for a regular shower! Then they had no blow dryer and when asked for one I was provided with one that required wiring to the wall to operate! Bad.

Comfortable, clean and in a great location. Owners are super nice and they have a good self serving breakfast. We were going to stay 6 nights, but due to a personal matter at home we had to check out after 4 nights. They were understanding and refunded me the difference. I thought that was very thoughtful and considerate of them. If i ever travel to SD again, this will definitely be where i stay.

We had trouble with the air conditioner in our initial room, but management was very helpful in relocating us. The controls on the new room A/C were also a little flakey, but it worked fine.

We had no issues, the room was very clean and had been updated since the last time we were there. Friendly people and an easy walk to the downtown of Custer.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay at Days Inn. The staff was excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was clean and everything seemed relatively new. Guests should be aware there is no elevator. We were on the second floor and had to make multiple trips up and down the stairs with our belongings. Our only other suggestions would be to have more breakfast items available. It would be nice to have breakfast pastries or English muffins available. Also, we found that if we did not get down to breakfast well before 8am, there were limited choices and items available. All that being said, we would not hesitate to stay there again (but would request a ground floor room.

Older hotel. Bathroom needed updating. No shower pressure or hot water. Bed was comfy at least.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. They’ve somewhat renovated the rims but did not update the severely outdated bathrooms. We were asked to MOVE our vehicle (which has a permanent handicap tag), when we pointed out the tag, we were asked “what” and “who” was handicapped. We asked for a ground level room, because there is No elevator and was told no vacancies on the first floor. The family that owns the hotel makes snide remarks about being handicapped when we were coming and going from the hotel. The breakfast is served on the basement level - again, no handicap access. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Staff was nice and the bed was comfortable but there was no fridge, no microwave and no hangers. Went for continental breakfast in the morning and there was pretty much nothing there.

The bathtub was filthy, black mold in the tub, fixtures were discussing, my wife and I did not even take a shower it was that discussing.
Absolutely the worst hotel we have stayed in, and we travel a lot.
I will not stay in another Wyndham facility from this point forward, you have lost a customer because of this.

We booked a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed. After check in was told sofa bed was moved to different room. But they could give me a pillow and blanket for my son to sleep on floor. No thank you. They found a cot they said they didn't have. They had pictures of a pool but no pool and gym closed at 8 to not disturb other guests! Breakfast coffee was only beverage available, there were waffles old bananas and 3 pieces of stale bread.

Loved staying here. The whole inside has been remodeled. Looks wonderful. The shower head was a little messed up. Still able to take a hot shower. It was very quiet. Was able to walk to eat or do a little shopping. Would definitely stay again if I go back to South Dakota.

The front desk guy was wonderful but the property is old and is not well maintained. But surprisingly the breakfast room is very clean and spacious.

We enjoyed our stay ver much. Hamad went out of his way to make our time wonderful.

When we arrived at the hotel the outside made us second guess our decision of staying here. The outside made my kids not want to stay. But we went in because it said it had been remodeled on the website and i told the kids to at least check it out. We walked inside and it looked nice and smelled clean. The gentleman checking us in was very polite and friendly. I had 2 rooms booked, we got our room keys and went up, opened the door and it smelled clean.
The shower/tub and toilet were dirty. We brought it up to the manager. The manager and one of his employees came up as soon as we got back that evening from exploring custer and addressed the issues and cleaned them. But even after cleaning the tub/shower it still had a dark dirty film and probably needs some type of deep cleaning. Tub floor was very soft and had hair line cracks in it, the shower head is loose in both rooms. The beds i thought were comfortable, kids liked the beds ss well. The breakfast was ok, kids werent impressed either and we decided to eat out a few times.
My family and I probably wont stay at this location in the future.

Keys didn’t work, cold water in the shower. The desk guy said it was some city rule keeping him for raising the hot water temperature. Said he’d get a ticket. I think he’s to cheap to allow his customers a hot shower.

We were so glad to find a hotel available after "season" in Custer. Visiting friends and had a great time. The hotel was getting ready for their remodel, so there were trucks and boxes. But our room was recently painted and worked great for out stay. Curtis was friendly helpful and we had a nice morning breakfast. Can't wait to stay again in the new remodeled version
