Rooms were clean.

Very dated .. bed is okay ..sheets are see through, pool towels are paper thin, room smelled damp and musty, coffee was awful in room and at breakfast … I’ve stayed here about 6 times in last 10 years and it’s gone down hill considerably and at $150 a night I will never stay here again … the rate doesn’t warrant what you get.

This was a perfectly fine place to stay. Good location. Had to make a last-minute change in hotels while in KC due to my original hotel not having running water, so I didn't have time to do much research before booking. The hotel was in a safe area. The hotel itself was a little grubby, seemed like it needed some updates. Looked like there were shoe prints on the wall by the bed. But overall, I'd stay here again in a pinch, but it wouldn't be my first choice if the price was the same elsewhere.

I loved it and will stay again in the future. It was so quiet and comfortable-they even had direct tv and a massive television so you could just come in and chill for a night on a long road trip

Rooms smelled of ammonia or something , the bathtub had a black film on the bottom and around the plug, hotel was super run down. Staff was very friendly and offered another room but the other room was just like the first .

Tbis was a great place to stay with large rooms. Breakfast was good and the coffee was always ready. The pool was small. The staff was friendly. Great location. Would stay here again.

There is no elevator. All bags have to be carried up the stairs. Staff was super nice. The free breakfast was just a continental and was not great.

Filthy hotel, rude stuff. I wouldn’t ever recommend this place. Cobwebs all over our hotel room. Spots on the faucet that resembled mold. Staff called me a liar when I asked for a refund of 2 nights because I didn’t want to stay in filth.

The room air conditioner leaked and left an ever expanding wetness on the carpet (undoubtedly fomenting mold growth) which was disgusting to walk over. I expect we were purposely put in this room because we had a dog with us. Disappointing.

Very clean. Great hotel staff, very friendly

First impression was not great. Smelled like smoke and perfume. Staff was friendly and everything was clean though. When we walked to the elevator and got off on our floor could still smell smoke and it was also in our room. I called the front desk and let them know we were going to eat and requested the area be deodorized and when we returned we could not smell the smoke. We stayed two nights and they made the bed, provided fresh towels and emptied the trash. Breakfast was very good as all of the other reviews said. Waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits&gravy.

Moldy shower, rooms need wit on walls and paint. Smell.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, just what my mini-poodle and I needed for a one night stay. Surprisingly tasty eggs for a hotel breakfast.

Dog urine and feces all over the room. Dirty sheets and bedding. Horrible customer service. Disgusted by the condition of the room. Worse than any motel 6 I have ever been to. Don’t ever stay here

Awesome staff

It was fine for the price. I needed to use the gym and found the treadmill rusted, in poor condition, and slanted at an angle to the mirror so it was awkward to run on. The floor looked like there was a film, possibly from the pool chlorine? There were no towels in the gym and the water machine gave hot/warm water instead of cold. The room we stayed in did not cool off well, we had to keep lowering the temp. Again, it was fine, just not very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful with our requests. The room was decently clean enough, no complaints there.

one of the days they when to clean the room at 8:30 and i tell the house keeping to came back since i was getting ready was to early and they didint came back the room was never clean.

We stayed 4 nights. They supplied daily gresh towels and emptied trash. Breakfast was great. They kept it well stocked

I am a fan of Comfort Suites, so I decided to pay a bit extra (compared to other choices in the area) and stay at the KC-Liberty location. I was very disappointed. It was clean enough, but very worn down. There were spots where the carpet was coming up and the subfloor visible. The stairs were in disrepair, which I am surprised was not some sort of safety violation. There was no ice available (when traveling on a road trip, I appreciate ice for a small cooler, or at the very least, enough for a night cap - there was none). Breakfast was good, and the breakfast area was clean. Overall, I would stay there if it were the only choice. But I would recommend others in the area if available.

Good place to stay. Very clean but could tell it was an older property. Easy to access and convenient parking. Good stay while watching the Royals play and visiting KC.

I was really trying to hold off on this review but I feel it’s important to go ahead and post it. We stay at lots of hotels (staycations) and rely heavily on reviews when making decisions. I knew pretty early we made a mistake with this one but had already made the reservation. As soon as we arrived I could tell this wasn’t the quality of the hotels we normally stay at. Despite this I was open to making the best of it. They charge a $100 deposit for incidentals, higher than most hotels in the area, THEN, they won’t even allow you to charge to your room. Their overpriced snacks must be paid for with card or cash. The printer in the business center wouldn’t work and no one cares enough to take time to fix it. Before I could get extra towels for our morning shower, the housekeeping staff made us put our dirty towels on the floor in the hall. Despite the cost, it gave family owned motel. Very disappointing! Then today I discover they are still holding the incidentals charge on my card. I call and after answering a bunch of questions, he informs me it takes 3-5 days to fall off. 😡 For a credit card? Not okay! Overall, save yourself the trouble. The breakfast attendant was kind, helpful, professional and pleasant and the breakfast was great. Sadly though, the bad outweighed the bad.
