Just an average hotel, did what it had to do, the only thing is the bathroom is very tiny, I mean really tiny!

We ordered 2 buger meals. I wanted mine burger plain (no sauce whatsoever). after a approx half an hour wait my burger came with sauce. When the waiter/barman took it back to the kitchen we could hear the chef shouting and swearing. The waiter came back out of the kitchen and said he had given me and husband our meals the wrong way round but when my husband gave me his meal it also had sauce on it, so again I asked the waiter to get it changed to what I had ordered. Once again we heard the chef shouting. After about 20 minutes of waiting for my new burger we saw the receptionist go in the kitchen and come out with burger and chips which she tood to the reception desk and comsummed herself. Whilst waiting for my correct burger for another 40 minutes I then cancelled my order and asked for a refund. Then had a bag of crisps and a bar of choclate for my dinner, which wasn't ideal but that was all I had.

Its unfair to leave a real review as we paid over the odds for ther oom to go to the victorious festival. When leaving, the room price was advertised outside 4x less than we paid. But our choice to stay and had a fantastic weekend. En suite small but functional but waste water took an age to go away invthe basin and shower. Bar stays open till 1am but with a very limited offering. We found a pub round the corner instead.

The hotel is OK and clean. Nice to have breakfast included. However, not many things nearby and you cannot walk to the centre. Parking is hard to find in the centre.

Everything was great except one thing - the parking! Don’t be fooled when they say there is private parking. It is a small car park which was overflowing when we arrived. This meant I had to park five mins away with a small child and luggage - not ideal. Everything else was good, the room, service and breakfast.

The family liked that the hotel had a pool table. The room had no air-conditioning. If the window was closed to block out noise of traffic or the very loud party in the vicinity, the room became unbearably hot. Bed very firm for my grandson but it was okay for me.

A very conveniently placed hotel with excellent parking. The decor is very dark, but appears to be clean. The staff were friendly. Within our room which was neat, clean and tidy, the bathroom was minute but for a short stay, it was okay.

Clean, quiet, and a great price. Rooms are not big, but very serviceable for a quick stay or when out for most of the day. Dining options nearby are a little limited (at later hours), but there is a restaurant in-house and other options about a 15 minute walk away. The front entrance could be a little better lit and patrolled to keep the smokers at a distance, but otherwise, I'd stay again.

Clean hotel, nice big lobby and friendly staff. Room was decent sized and cleaned each day. The only criticism is that the room was very hot overnight and it wasn't possible to open the window very much. A fan was provided in the room which helped somewhat

Great service and a really nice reception area. Rooms are clean but small. Very limited space in the bathroom area. Felt claustrophobic. Odd that in this day and age, the room has no AC but a fan is provided. Overall good for a one night stay.

Perfect stop for one night while attending gig at Guildhall. Fab location close to venue but also walking distance to Spinaker, Gunwharf shopping and historic Dockyard. Nice bar with plenty of drink choices within the hotel and onsite parking.

It was fine but your architect who designed the showers did not make provision for people with leg disabilities. There are no grab rails and because they are so tiny if someone slips your insurance company will end up paying a lot of money. A false economy. Otherwise fine.

Mostly positive - Very clean, staff pleasant, breakfast very good, water hot, shower good although base is slippery so didn't feel quite safe. Negatives - guest was allowed to take electric scooter to room huge fire risk when charging. Weather very hot during out stay - rooms really tiny and very claustrophobic as no air conditioning. Short stay o.k. longer stay not as space for case or clothes very limited. Opposite University accommodation with loud disco music 'till early hours of morning. Couldn't eat in the hotel on the evening we wanted due to party of students in the restaurant. Probably the same students that had the disco!!!!!
