The room was clean and cute. There was not an oven like the description said, only a stove top. The shower was hot but slow to drain. Overall would stay again.

The front desk people were fantastic, but we were put in a very run-down room. There were holes in the walls and flooring. However, the bed was comfortable. It needs freshening up and Aaron said all rooms will be renovated next year. Since they will update rooms soon and the employees are so friendly, we would like to return in the future. The location is great!

Very quaint location and comfortable accommodations and the cottages are very cute as well as the property as well kept in nicely landscaped unfortunately it is dire need of repairs-coffee maker was damaged, toilet had tape on it and was loose. There was no drain cover to the sink in the bathroom and the bathtub didn’t drain well.

Good stay and good value. Within walking distance of the coast with beautiful trails. Downtown PG is just a few minutes drive with all the amenities for a nice stay.

From the moment we got there, the toilet didnt flush right, and didnt work well. Sure enough the next morning we had to call, it was about to over flow. They came to "fix it" but it never worked right. The shower water never got hot. In the morning time, barly warm. And in the evening luke warm if lucky.

It started when I was waiting to check in and the couple in front of me were discussing the toilet seat being replaced in there room before they got back. Right when I opened the door the smell of bleach was so bad I’m sure to detour ants but slept with window open first night to air it out. Second night I was not informed a set of drums with a band was set up right outside my back window of my cottage couldn’t here tv was sooo loud for a few hours couldn’t believe my dinner was delivered and I couldn’t even hear the DoorDash driver . It would’ve been ok if I had been expecting it plus when I mentioned to the front desk older man he just said it wasn’t night time so it was ok didn’t show any care about ruining the trip . When I told him I didn’t feel he cared about situation and I was a repeat customer but would not be coming back he just said do what you gotta do . So sad but check your room before you commit

Nice room and location but I was disappointed in the service. When I arrived I found that the body wash dispenser was broken and reported it to the office but despite them saying they would call maintenance it never got fixed during the 2 day stay. On the second day we hung the "maid service" tag on the door but when we arrived home the room had not been touched. I went to the office to pick more coffee and to ask again about the body wash dispenser. When I mentioned the lack of room cleaning the desk person told me it was my fault as I hadn't explicitly requested it from the office. He would not see my point that if they provide a tag saying 'maid service please' and you hang it on the door it is reasonable to expect maid service. When I got annoyed with him he told me that if I wasn't happy I could check out right then! I also asked about the body wash dispenser and he gave me a few mini bottles but when I got back to the room I discovered they were shampoo not body wash. Anyway - a lot of words over pretty minor things but it did leave me with a bad impression of their customer service and I would not stay there again.

Staff and stay were overall good. Property could definitely use some small touch ups that would have made the stay an excellent one. Just small things like some new blinds/window treatments and paint/maintenance touch ups.

Excellent stay. Rooms are newly renovated, clean and bed is comfy. There’s no a/c, only ceiling fan so not sure how hot it gets during summer months. The area is safe and closed to everything.

Furnishes were very worn and mismatched. Sofa and chair were uncomfortable and smelled of dog . Missing light bulbs .Wall are so thin you can hear someone coughing PG can be very expensive but next time I will pay the extra to stay somewhere better .

Location and price were perfect. Cottage very small but quiet and comfortable. Closet doors would not open and close easily as rusted track on bottom. No housekeeping during four night stay...no fresh towels, no replenishing of coffee supplies, etc.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our room. The room appeared to have been recently updated. Unfortunately, I left my laptop in the room when we left for our next location on our trip. When I called to check if my laptop was there it was confirmed that I had indeed left my laptop in the room. Unfortunately, we were already home hundreds of miles away, when this was confirmed. I asked if they could please send my computer to my home, offering to cover the cost of shipping plus $100 to the inconvenience. I was told that they could do nothing to help me out. I contacted the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce to see if they could suggest any solutions to my dilemma. I am forever grateful to Christi, who took charge by picking up my computer, taking it to the local UPS store & arranging to have it sent to my home. Hopefully, management has learned what outstanding customer service is and will improve in the future.

The room was sooo small it almost felt claustrophobic. It was also hot. I’m glad I brought a fan. The property over all was cute with an outdoor fire pit but I wouldn’t stay there again because of the room size.

This property was not a represented on the website. It was very rundown and dated not to mention it backs to a restaurant bar with outdoor live music playing til 9 pm so loudly you can hear it as you’re driving up to the property as well as inside your room w doors and windows closed. We immediately left as we knew we could not stay here and then told we are being charged for a night when we literally we there for ten minutes. I will be disputing these charges. But overall experience was BAD!

Great location. The room was clean. However there was a strong unpleasant odor in our room. Upon opening the closet the smell became stronger and we were unable to use the closet. We kept it closed and also had the same issue with the bathroom. The smell also came through the drains when using the sink, shower or flushing. Opening the windows didn’t help either. Lastly the mini fridge did not keep out food & drinks cold. The plastic strip was broken around half of the door.

The most welcoming check-in we’ve ever experienced, and we’ve stayed at some pretty high-end hotels. Theo was exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Also, this hotel was exceptionally quiet. That was very unexpected and appreciated. We would stay there again, without question.

Our room was upgraded , hardwood floor lovely bathroom and very clean and neat for cleanness it was 10/10. Beds were somewhat comfortable . However, Functional table , furnitures and hooks will be ideal. One window does not have a curtain & a piece of it was broken so it was not covering the light. The rooms are smaller than what I thought pictures showing .Property itself needs some improvement the carpet in hallway leading to our room was extremely dirty and old. . For the money we spend on the room we expected at least a good size soap and a little bit more temperature from water heater to take hot shower! I must say the place has Helpful, polite, courteous and very pleasant staff and front desks ! They try to respond to the issue with water temperature & provided me more soap when I asked them. Would I stay there again for the price I spend per night the answer is no !

First time saying here and I didn't want to leave. It was a beautiful room in a quaint cottage type village almost. Close to the Monarch Reserve and Cannery Row and Carmel. It was very peaceful. I can’t wait to stay again.

Typical small motel in PG. some renovations which were nice but the bathroom tub was in bad shape. I assumed our room would be on the first floor as the pictures showed small cottages. My husband had an ankle injury and so we were disappointed to find out our room was on the second floor. I asked to have the room changed but they said they couldn’t. Also we ended up in a room in the back that looked into someone’s backyard. The stairway was extremely dirty and there was trash and other items laying along side of the building. I made my reservation several months in advance so a little surprised we got one of the worst room.

One of our rooms lost electrical power minutes after we arrived. They moved us for one night to an upgraded room, but electricity seems like a necessity. Tiny bathroom, very chilly room, no daily towel service.

Front desk lacked detail information about room, Phone did not work and was not fixed over stay Toilet keep running after flush unless handle was jiggled several times. Floors were dirty and I had to ask to use a broom to sweep myself. When checked out manager or owner was not appologetic for above issues with room. I would not recommend this establishment as they do not care about their clients.

An AC unit would’ve been nice only because it was so humid. Check-in and check-out were easy. Front desk staff was friendly. The room was beautiful and clean. The floor of the bath tub was slippery - some grip tape would be a welcome addition.

it was near the ocean so my wife could breathe easy. It was a generally quiet neighborhood. The lighting was poor, especially in the bathroom. The lights in the bedroom were weak, requiring the overheads to be on to read.

It was my Wife, and I wedding anniversary we stayed there from 7/22 - 7/24. We had only one day where we could sleep in and around 10 AM office manager came knocking on our door telling me that i had to move my car because they were going to have to pressure wash the parking stalls. I had to park at the far end of the complex to be out of the way. Then i had to locate a employee to ask them to fill up my body wash bottle because it was empty, and she could only fill 1/4 of the bottle because they had run out of soap. Our room still looked as though it was still under construction. It had electrical boxes still uncovered. Then to top it off check out was at 11:00 the next day. Very disappointed. I won't go back to that place. Over priced for what we got.
