Great location. Room was basic. Hairdryer was broken but they provided another one. Bed was a bit firm for my taste, but can't please everyone.

It was fine, no drama. Didn’t have breakfast as expensive
5.0
Close to town centre. Excellent wifi. Great value stay

The cleanliness was awful. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time and dust on the walls near the bedside tables. Our key card kept failing throughout the visit so we had to go down and reset it regularly.

Good hotel close to town centre. Friendly staff. Rooms clean and spacious. Lift could do with some maintenance. Bit noisy with traffic noise. Went to nearby Wetherspoons forbreakfast

Hotel is dated, carpet needs replacing, bids hard, cheap pillows

The Staff was excellent and very helpful. The only issue was that the lift was out during my entire stay (4 nights)

Staff friendly and we had a party near by so was convenient. When you walked to the rooms the corridor and room smelt, the lift was out of order, our towels were dirty and the water pressure was like a drip. When you used the sink tap a strong eggy smell was present. The floor around the toilet felt like it was going to give way possibly like the floor was rotting. We also struggled parking as the space was limited and the handle fell off the door. We had a room on the third floor and 2 other groups we knew were on the second floor. All the rooms were of this standard. Overall the staff were friendly however the whole hotel could do wi a do over for sure! I think we would be unlikely to restay here unfortunately.

As always a good stay. A little surprised that not many guests attended the communal(Bar/Restaurant) area. I think this is due to the lack of food and snacks available for the guests.

Two ladies at front desk were helpful. No AC
Night staff were rude.

Basic Ibis hotel but good onsite parking (once you find the entrance). As others have said it is situated directly on a very busy roundabout and getting across to the town centre means walking right around the hotel so a decent pedestrian exit could be useful and then keep you whits about you as you cross 4 lanes of traffic.
Decent breakfast with bacon, beans, mushrooms all ok but the sausage was an interesting texture and scrambled eggs made from ??? Unsure. Cereals, yoghurt, toast, conserves and an ok coffee machine.
There’s an on-site bar but only 5 mins walk to pubs and restaurants in the town. Nice staff but bed was not very comfortable and pillows too soft for me.

First stay at this hotel, had a great welcome, staff were all very friendly and relaxed, yet professional. Room was clean & tidy.
A couple of minor points:
Hotel close to very busy roads, traffic noise was considerable with window open.
Room was very warm, meaning window open was a must.
The lift has a very disconcerting clunk/bang/bounce/drop s it sets off.
There was no sign of timings, eg breakfast/bar etc
Breakfast was tasty, staff explained there was no need to rush out afterwards, sit back & have another brew if we wanted.
12noon checkout was great?

No worth the money

Perfectly adequate hotel in the centre of Chesterfield. It has a car park which is handy. The hotel was neat and tidy and clean. Our room was clean and comfortable although it could do with a fresh lick of paint. The only downside to the location was having to cross 2 lanes of busy traffic to get into town.

Use this hotel every time i visit friends in chesterfield. Faultless right from checking in to checking out

A four night stay with breakfast on each day.
Room good and Wi-Fi excellent. Food entirely adequate,
Staff all very helpful and adequate parking
Pedestrian access to hotel premises very difficult as situated on junction on roundabout with non stop traffic

Outside traffic noises

Ideally situated for town and cricket ground think the breakfast was overpriced

Friendly and helpful staff . My four night stay was definitely good value for money . Bathroom facilities were excellent and clean . Breakfast was ok , location to town centre was great , although noise from traffic could be a distraction.

The hotel is in a great location in terms of access to the town centre, shops and restaurants. A good place to stay if you're driving but hazardous to get to if you're on foot as you have to cross busy main roads which are not designed for pedestrians.
Otherwise a comfortable stay with very friendly and helpful staff.

Great couple of days relaxing.

Extremely noisy day and night traffic on two sides of hotel nearly impossible to sleep and no air conditioning trying to cross the roads to town center on foot good luck with that large rounderbout which means 3 lanes island then two more lanes to cross with constant friw of traffic i ask room to be cleaned for three days on one day they put towels on toilet seat

The staff was nice. The rooms are what you expect for a budget hotel. Didnt do breakfast, the price was high for selection. No big deal, coffee shops in walkable distance for breakfast.

Very friendly, staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was good but had a room at the back of the hotel and the room was very noisy because of constant traffic from the road, day and night.
4.0
Conveniently placed with friendly/helpful staff.
Rooms functional if a little tired.
Situated between two busy roads so can be a little noisy.
Small EV charging bays but easy to use

Honestly for the price I did not expect much but I expected more than I got! The hotel had a bad smell about it, the rooms were very dirty! Stayed for 3 nights and not once did any cleaner enter my room, towels never replaced, coffee/tea never replenished. I certainly would NOT recommend staying here. The beds are like bricks so uncomfortable!

Where the hotel is on a main busy main road very noisy hard to sleep

Great value and always friendly staff. And there is a car park!

It’s a 2 star accommodation which is clean and basic. Noisy traffic as it is situated right on a busy roundabout. However they had done their best to block the noise out with triple glazed windows. Easy access to town.
5.0
Free parking, nice Staff, nice welcome, comfy room, nice breakfast, good bar. Ideal for exploring the local area and just 5 mins walk from the town centre. Plenty of pubs, clubs and bars and restaurants. We weren't disappointed! Came to Chesterfield for a theatre trip and to go abseiling in the peak district.
Already booked to come back to this hotel for another weekend theatre trip in June.
