Beautiful room, great food at the Laurel and at the bar for Happy Hour, excellent pool and hot tub, courteous staff who go the extra mile. Overall great staycation!

Our entire stay was exceptional. Valet, restaurant dining & in-room dining were excellent. The staff was wonderful & accomodating. Highly recommend when in SLC!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. Very convenient location in central SLC. The parking was a bit tricky but worked out ok. There is a lot under the hotel. The restaurant was ok but a little disappointing. We were hoping for better than standard fare. The room and grounds were exceptional.

I couldn’t be happier with the property and service! Thanks I’ll be back!

This hotel is clearly an institution in Salt Lake City and it is impressive. The building is huge and the decor very old school - in a charming way.
We upgraded to a suite for $40 and it was huge, even offering a balcony overlooking the pool.
Being in a Mormon environment was quirky - the most well-stocked mini bar without any alcohol:
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very opulent. In our road trip this is the only hotel that still had individual toiletries rather than shared bottles. It felt a little too old school.
There were some good dining options but we took advantage of room service which was fine. Nothing to write home about. There is a bar where you can buy cocktails but it was tough to find in the behemoth of a building.
Would we stay here again? Probably not. But that’s not because it wasn’t nice, it was just a little too old school for me.

Loved our weekend stay. We just stayed on the property and enjoyed the amenities.

No glasses or cups/mugs in the room became a problem.

Beautiful hotel and the BEST in SLC!!

It's my first time that a hotel does not provide bottles of water at all. The other stuff were great!!
4.7
greatest stay so far

Room was a good size and grounds are nice. Food at hotel was average and the air condition was very poor in our room.
4.7
Absolutely perfect! This is easily the most luxurious hotel that this frequent traveler has experienced in a long time!

The staff was very friendly and professional. It was a wonderful hotel to stay at

The room was beautiful. The bathroom was amazing with the tub. Liquor laws are difficult. My biggest issue was the pool. This was rather expensive hotel and I went to the pool which was beautiful and the chaise lounges were super comfy but it was like being at a town pool- full of families with kids just screaming, crying and being loud. Not relaxing at all!

My husband and I drove in from another state and stayed overnight for a quick getway for my birthday, and the hotel was sheer bliss! Every square inch was designed and decorated with such thought, and boasted such beauty. It was an homage to the architecture and interior design of years gone by - very nostaligic to me. Truly a spectacular retreat. And the service was top notch, very consumer-oriented, with attention to detail, and with kindness. Our room was one with the little balcony and the view was incredible. I loved the little balcony and took memorable photos from it. Though we had one bathroom, my husband and I loved having our own separate vanities/sinks instead of having to share, like usual. I could spread out all of my toiletries and not have to encroach on his space. Our room on the 19th floor was also very quiet. Also, the food at the restaurants was outstanding and the shops within the hotel were a nice surprise. I loved the Old World feel to the hotel and marveled at it's exquisite design. Be prepared to take lots of photos...and bring a real camera for this stay!

The most beautiful hotel we've stayed at!
Missing some café options with convenient open hours.
Great boutiques though, and The Little Coffee Shop restaurant was amazing.

Clean, Classy and Courteous staff from the moment we walked in. The suite was beautiful, spacious and clean. Was easy to walk downtown and explore, while feeling safe in the neighborhood. WIll definitely stay again when visiting SLC again.
Thank you

For being a broke couple celebrating our one year anniversary, We enjoyed our weekend stay. I have not been here after covid hit and sad to see all the changes that happened due to it. No more fresh backed cookies smelling good in the lobby, We enjoyed the Spa but again covid changed the way you can use the spa. It just didn't have that charm that I hyped it up to be.

It was an amazing place to celebrate our employee appreciation

We have stayed in Little America quite a few times and finally decided to splurge and go to Grand America. The only thing Grand about Grand America is the price and the lobbies and ballrooms. The room itself was pretty meh. Seemed like it needed a serious update. Will never be staying here and again unless they renovate.

Guest service was poor at check in

Beautiful, elegant, well-kept grounds, wonderful pool, friendly service, comfortable bed, great shower and deep tub, and overall a favorite place to stay. The only I would add is greater menu selection for allergies (gluten, dairy).
