Asked for a high floor away from the lifts, got floor 1, yes it was away from the lift, just would of liked higher as light sleeper staying for 16 days, my room didn’t get swept much whilst was there so a lot of floor dirt on my feet after a shower wasn’t amazing! Hotel is nice, don’t get me wrong but feel could do with a few tweeks to make it better

Went for a 5 Nights Bed and Breakfast stay at The Palmasol with 16 friends on a Golf trip. Rooms a little small with an ensuite shower room . Breakfast was ok with plenty of options . Staff were helpful and friendly and the location of the hotel was excellent. Having a front facing room could prove noisy with building work going on opposite .

Hotel is nice but not 4 star. It is expensive for what you get. Awful experience at checking in with the receptionist. Our room was fine with a small balcony looking out onto 2 building sites. I didn’t mind the view so much as the noise which started very early in the morning, I think if we had been pre warned it would have been better. The breakfast was really good with a good choice. I only went to dinner once. I found the quality of the food awful. The bar staff are very pleasant and under quite a lot of stress with the wristband system I do feel sorry for them but the queues for drinks is terrible easily up to 10 to 15 people at a time. After 2 nights we stayed away from the hotel for the evenings. Crazy to pay for a kettle in the room. Location was great but won’t be staying again. Please give customer service training to your receptionists they are so unhelpful.

Didn’t like the room given, ordered a double give a twin, pool view no way give a view of a building site then was asked for 50 euros extra to change to the room requested. Faff on with bracelets for paying, never had to queue at a gate to get into pool and subbed area before and not open till 10am. Money bracelets act as door keys also and forever not working, back to reception to reload. Only one receptionist on duty so checkin very slow especially when your following a bus load in.

Most people staying at the hotel looked 50 and over so it was nice and quiet with no gangs of kids or hen parties. The place always looked clean, smelled fresh and had reception 24 hours, also lemon or cucumber water on the reception desk for free.The rooms were nice with a balcony, 2 chairs and small table. Nice shower room.There is also a safe you can hire. We went self catering and were given a blue band that reception could add money too for the bar as they don't take cash. The pool is nice goes up to 5ft at the deep end. Lots of beds around the pool and on the grass behind but limited umbrellas. There is a large seating area by the bar with tables and chairs you can order small snacks along with your drinks. Also a large canopy area where you can chill or have a nap. There is a gym and small hot tub and next to them there is a door that leads to the main part of the marina, local supermarket, bars, restaurants and if you follow left or right it will take you over to more shops and the beach's. The only problem we had was the maid did not close our room door properly twice after cleaning during our 10 night stay. Nothing was taken but we were upset about it. The manager was nice and dealt with the problem himself. From malaga airport we ordered an uber and it cost around $23 for the 20 minute ride or you can take a train €3 and then a taxi. We didnt dine there so dont know what the meals were like but there was usually a que at the bar due to only 1 or 2 staff serving.

We paid all inclusive and it clearly was not all inclusive with lots of hidden payments , upgrade drinks, safe hire, water was not in rooms, restricted bar times and entertainment was total rubbish !!! It looks great on the advert but when you get there it’s average at best ! The hotel can’t cope with large numbers and are rude to guests a lot of the time wouldn’t waste your money on all inclusive it’s a con !

Very enjoyable stay here. Room was compact,but well designed. Comfortable bed, good wifi, good shower. Small balcony with sun for a couple of hours, other rooms probably better for sunshine. Helpful friendly staff at reception and elsewhere. Medium sized pool, water a little cool but enjoyable. Breakfast was good. 5 minute walk to beach. So much choice for food and drinks closeby. Look out for all the irish bars, sometimes side by side.

The ”cleaning” of the room was non existent! Disaster! No clean towels. The ”parfyme” in the reception area was too strong and made me nauseous. A lot of flies and screaming birds by the pool. Construction next to the hotel. Annoying with all the extra costs for towel at the pool area, use of the safe etc. I would not recommend this hotel even though the room and pool area was nice. No serviceminded staff at all.

Nice hotel. Ridiculously late check in at 4pm though, I thought maybe it was 2pm but my fault for not reading it. Lots of construction going on around the area, but not the hotels fault. Room was adequate and spacious. The biggest let down for me was the swimming pool. Absolutely freezing, never known a hotel with such a cold pool. It’s a real shame as the pool area is beautiful.

The hotel was opposite a massive building site. we were all-inclusive gold plus, but this still meant we were only allowed to order 2 drinks each at a time (includes both alcohol and soft drinks) and the bar had a long queue most of the time so it put you off going to the bar. it felt like access to water was restricted the whole holiday. there was no bottled water put in the rooms for us and none available via a water fountain or anything which meant you had to go to the bar which was a mission! the staff seemed to say no to everything you asked which was very odd customer service! they were understaffed and often only 1 staff member working the bar which meant an extremely long queue. however the food at the hotel was very good.

This is a lovely family friendly hotel It ticked all our boxes Its in a lovely location, our room had a beautiful almost panoramic view of the marina, it was very clean, modern decor, with friendly staff It is up a slight hill we had two buggies and didn’t struggle but if you have a wheelchair it may be more challenging The food options were good and vast and we’re continually freshly topped up throughout service Pool was clean and lifeguard was always present The bars in the hotel looked good but were quite busy after 10pm. We didn't stay for any of the entertainment but it was advertised in the hall with the entertainment schedule I would just say that there was no trolly to help move suitcases around which was challenging with 3 kids and 2 buggies but we sorted it in multiple trips. (However it would have definitely helped to have one available) I would definitely return and recommend

We stayed for 3 night's. We booked this hotel as we wanted to be close to 24 hour square where all the night life is. The position of the hotel for night life, beach and bars is perfect. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had( and I've travelled a lot). Plus the staff are again some of the best in my travels. I will DEFINITELY be back 😊.

Friends for a big birthday. Food & Drink was good. Brilliant location for the Marina & nightlife. Rooms very small & basic, very disappointed. Did all-inclusive, however this meant we didn't get the best treatment. Security was very rude of an evening & spoke to us like children. Wouldn't stay again!

Hotel seemed brand new or had recently been refurbished. Kept very clean and tidy. Within a 5-10 minute walk of the marina area where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, the beach a further 5 minutes from there also. Breakfast buffet very nice with loads of choice, dinner is a buffet too which I didn't have but heard good things. Only gripe was the bar doesn't stay open past midnight, maybe out of season and not the end of the world. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here though.

We had a front bedroom with a balcony. Did not get much sleep due to the noise outside and the early morning builders in the building site opposite. We did not use the balcony due to the building site. Could not use the outside pool, as the water was freezing. The hot tub was covered up and the indoor pool you needed a swimming cap. The staff at the bar were brilliant. You could not wish for more choice at breakfast.

The hotel has been refurbished over the winter months, very clean and clinical, we had a few issues, our room was extremely small, a few issues with a few new staff members, but after speaking to Steven the hotel manager we moved to another room and sorted the other issues out, as a frequent traveler I understand that we don’t live in a perfect world, but it’s how we sort the customer service out 10/10 , The outstanding staff were the lady chef at breakfast who cooked my wife bacon and eggs and nothing was too much trouble, Rita the entertainer and the life guard, the hotel is a safe and beautiful place, it’s perfectly placed as you leave from the bottom garden and your over the road from the marina

Lovely property, a few mins walk to the nearby marina. Location was great, staff and service was lovely. Very fresh and new, external areas are having finishing touches to finish the overall look of the hotel. Some construction work is underway across the road so expect some noise during the day.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything 10/10. Great location, cleanliness amazing the hotel smelled amazing very fresh which may sound strange but it made you aware that everything was cleaned to a high standard. Staff amazing and so accommodating. Definitely will recommend to others and will be back.

Lovely spacious family room with large balcony made our stay extra special. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel, pool and grounds are maintained to high standard and very clean. Pool has sufficient sun beds so getting one was easy. There is a back gate leading from the pool area which takes you straight to the marina, this is a bonus which meant we didn’t need to move the car, free parking is difficult in this area and the hotel doesn’t provide onsite parking, however wasn’t a problem for us. We loved our 4 night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Hotel was lovely, clean and very friendly, rooms cleaned daily. Location of hotel is great, 20 minutes from airport in taxi, a minutes walk, literally over the road, to the port which has many shops, bars and restaurants. Choice of two beaches within a five minute walk in either direction of the port, five minutes in taxi to aqualand approximately €8 great place for families. Will definitely be visiting again :)

After reading other reviews my expectations were quite low - and I was pleasantly suprised. The hotel has been somewhat renovated and the room looks new and fresh. The bed and linens are great! Aircondition in room work well, allthough not possible to set it colder than 22c. Room was perfectly clean, and was cleaned once a day. New towels provided each day. A small fridge is placed in the room. The bathroom is very small and access to the toilet is quite cramped. Shower with parabenfree shower gel/shampoo. No conditioner. Hairdryer worked ok for short hair, but bring a good one if you have long/thick hair. The garden and pool area is very nicely kept and invites to a relaxing time with birds chirping. Really nice and beautiful. The pool area closes at 6pm which I find too early. Breakfast is very good with lots of choices. The hotel will hand out a specific time for you to have breakfast based on your room number. This makes the breakfast time a little unføexible but on the positive side it’s not too crowded in the breakfast room. The hotel terrace bar plays too loud music during the day/afternoon. Due to this I did nlt sot there at all. I think some rooms close to the bar area will be affected by the loud music. Fortunately my room was on the other side of the hotel (no pool view) and it was very quiet. I prefere quiet to pool view so for me it was perfect. All in all this hotel is great vale for the money. It’s not more than a 3 star hotel though.

Booked double room given two single beds. Key did not work when got to room had to go back to reception. Room cleanliness lots of hairs in the bathroom which did not belong to me. Tap broken. Given room on the first floor overlooking road which is noisy. The location is very good. Cleanliness of room poor.
