Beware of bed bugs. I check for bed bugs immediately in every hotel room and found a bed bug in both rooms we were given. Both times I scooped a bed bug from the bed into a paper cup and took it to the front desk employee. The employee apologized and said they'd work with the GM in the morning to process a refund since we weren't going to be able to stay there. I asked if they wanted to take a picture and they said if I had pictures of the bed bugs then that should be enough documentation.
I've been emailing, calling, and leaving voicemails for the GM multiple times for 3 weeks and he has never emailed or called back. I did manage to reach him twice when I called in, 11 and 22 days after the reservation date. He claimed that someone checked for bed bugs later and didn't see bed bugs so they wouldn't be providing a refund. I said that we took both bed bugs to the front desk and the GM told me we didn't, which he's clearly lying about and they could verify that with their security footage. I also told him I took pictures of both of the bed bugs and he said no I didn't, which doesn't even make sense as a response.
He is completely gaslighting me and either just doesn't want to provide a refund or is concerned with costs and protocols for getting rid of bed bugs. It's frustrating to not have that refund approved and also to have to pay even more to get a last second room somewhere else, but the fact that he's ignoring the issue for future guests just adds to the frustration.

Left in a hurry and left my suit in the closet upon leaving. The hotel staff packed it up and sent it to me after I sent them a prepaid box. Great Staff. Nice place to stay and very reasonable. Very easy to get to also. In a quiet part of town.

The property is well-located near the airport and getting there is easy. Breakfast had many options and was more than ample. On the negative side, I am not a big fan of rolling barn doors in place of a normal bathroom door and places to eat were best accessible by car, so if you are walking, it will take a good 20-30 minutes to walk to the nearest restaurant.

It was a very quick yet peaceful stay in your hotel. The staff was very helpful and professional. One of the elevators needed repairs but that can’t be helped.

Very dated. The tv in the room was not a smart tv, but it wasn’t even a tv capable of taking an HDMI cable. I felt like I time travelled back 15 years staying at this hotel. Staff were friendly but this place needs some updating.

Waited atleast 15 minutes for someone to show up at the desk for check in. Check in was confusing because the receptionist did not speak english (very little). Elevator was broken and I was placed on the 4th floor. Poor quality. Would not stay here again.

Elevator sounded like was going to explode. When we checked in, our other room was not ready-so we went right to eat. Came back & my mom went to her room and my daughter informed they had only 1 bed (we booked 2 queen beds). Manager informed us they “upgraded” our room. Without notifying us? I explained to her we cannot have 1 bed. We need 2 and this is not an upgrade for us. Manager was rude and then proceeded to say-did you use the bathroom if you did I do not have anyone to clean it. I advised, I am a manager-so you will want to get your hands dirty unfortunately because YES after driving 9 hours we had to go to the bathroom. After manager being very rude-we ended up getting the original request. But they cannot just do that

When I rec'd the confirmation, the date for the stay was listed as 5/28 instead of the date I entered; 5/30. I immediately called Hampton Inn directly, explained the problem, & asked if we could change the date of stay to the correct date. I was told sure; no problem. Told we were all set for the 30th. Arrived at the Inn on the 30th & was told that we did not have a reservation for that day, that we were a "no-show" for the 28th & if we wanted to stay that night we'd have to pay again! They were not interested AT ALL in sorting this out! I was handed a 1-800 number to call to try & work it out. Four times I was disconnected in the middle of the calls. The fifth time I was on hold for nearly 2 hours while trying to sort it out. I finally hung up as it was getting late. The desk clerk was incredibly rude & had no interest in helping us. I was in tears when we finally left.

We were in a room near the elevator, essentially just off the lobby. When we walked out we were in the guest sitting/breakfast area. SO uncomfortable for us to be there...we were exhausted and wanted a quieter area to be. When we asked, we were told there were no other queen rooms. When we asked for a king, they didn't even look at their computer log. They simply said they were full. We were diappointed and think it was bc we went through Expedia.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Bedford, NH from May 17 to May 18 for a business trip.
My experience was very negative but I don’t want to harm your business with a public review.
It started with the check in process. I had to wait a couple of minutes while the staff member finished helping another guest. He then started helping me but kept answering the phone helping those customers first while I stood there right in front of him. The entire check in took around 15 minutes. The room is starting to look dated and the tile floor was very sticky. There was a stain in the bathtub that looked like dried vomit and a large yellow stain on the wallpaper near the toilet that was obviously urine.
The home fries at breakfast were so salty that they were essentially inedible. I travel a lot for work and this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. I hope this feedback serves as inspiration to improve this hotel.

I have stayed at the Bedford, N.H. Hampton Inn numerous times. Typically it is a pleasant stay. Much of this experience I base on the brief interaction with staff at check-in. On this visit, however, it was a tad below what I have come to look forward to. My check-in person was impersonal and sullen. You might not think it's a big deal but a warm and friendly welcome, maybe even with a smile, is a nice touch to a weary traveler checking in.
