1 night stay. Was really good. James on the desk was amazing. So helpful.
Only downfall was they only had 1 lift in operation and as my Daughter was in a wheelchair we had to use lift but so did most of the guests who could have used the stairs.
Breakfast was lovely with a good selection.

Would stay again and recommend.

Had to get away from the new paint smell for a few days because we are decorating. So we decided to have 2 days away close to home to get away from the mess and clutter. We booked one of the first hotels listed that we could afford and was close.
We had a great time. Accommodating staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with great beds.
Breakfast was nice enough especially for free.
All in all great hotel that does what it says on the tin.

It's OK but the lift is awful, so slow, 45 minutes to get the lift down & up to 6th floor. Air-conditioning really bad on the 6th floor, moved to 2nd & so much better. Breakfast good but 2nd day ran out of nearly everything.

The room is clean and comfortable, though dim and limited in hanging space. Just nice for 1 pax. Bed and pillows make perfect sleep. Happy that 1 lift was working throughout my 2 night stay as the hotel had pre-warned the day before that the lifts are out of order. Breakfast was good with sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, baked beans, croissants, white and brown bread, cereal, milk, yogurt, hot drinks, fruit juice, fruits, etc.

A decent stay with a perfectly fine room. The breakfast really wasn’t up to par though

Very comfortable bed in a clean room. Staff were friendly and I was quite satisfied with the breakfast.
The one negative was the car parking. An email said there is limited parking onsite but you could go on the Sheppard street car park nearby with a discount code the hotel would provide. I turned up and the member of staff said that the discount code had not been working for some time and I would have to pay full price as it was not owned by the hotel. This is contrary and misleading to the email that was sent out.

All the staff we encountered in the hotel were outstanding and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very helpful and knowledgeable and so hard working. We had a wonderful stay and will come back again. The value for money of this hotel is outstanding.

Breakfast is an utterly disaster.

Avoid! Just avoid. On the 5th floor, after booking (last min booking) was told the lifts were not working. Holes in bedding, marks on carpets, titles in bathroom were loose and grotty. One of the towels had a huge hole in. The phone had a sticky brown substance on.
No food at breakfast with people saying they had waited 15 minutes for food and still nothing came out. No juice/ cups/ knifes & forks. When they did come out the lady brought only 8 harsh browns out… for like a huge crowd by this point, we went to whetherspoons… it was a step up which tells you everything.
People running up and down the halls all night, banging and carrying on … didn’t sleep, the area is shady and felt unsafe at night. The reception staff weren’t helpful and was dismissive of our complaints. One receptionist picked up her mobile phone midway through a conversation with another guest. Just avoid!

Was lovely and clean, bed comfy, breakfast plentiful. My only small complaint is that i was on the shower when heard a knock on the bedroom door at around 850am, somebody came in as i hopped out the shower, unfortunately i had the bathroom door open so whoever it was would have caught an eyeful 😆
Other than that, cannot fault. Overall brilliant thanks

Well Hotel was clean and rooms done to perfection 👌. Only issue was at breakfast in my case we where 6 family members in total including 2 lil kids 1 under 5 and 7 year old . Provision was not meet (to cutlery nothing was out )at all had to wait a while for food to come out . Got to a point my husband went back up ready to leave .

Its a horrible and un safe property. My child almost got trapped in the lift when it broke whilst going down. I had to hold the doors and force open.
The toilet flush is not working. Even after asking, it didnt get fixed. My room doors are jammed. Had to pull really hard to open. Will never stay here.

Our stay was lovely and breakfast was good only problem is with the lifts not working at times. We were in first floor so not a real problem for us

Staff were fantastic, especially at check in. Friendly and accommodating, always with a smile. Will be back again if I need to stay in Swindon.

Not a particularly great stay at all. Horrendously understaffed, one on check in and one on bar. Lift out of order for entire building. Half of building seemed like it was under renovation. Only option was to climb 3 flights of stairs just to get to level 1, let alone level 6. Dinner options....out of the 6 choices, only pizza was available to actually order. Apparently problem with supplier deliveries. Room itself was basic, but clean.

Complexity of paying for parking
0.5 / 5.0
No lifts working. Hotel sent email out late in the day to be able to cancel. Hotel also sent email to say discount code available for car parking but that was a lie. Hotel also selling cans of pepsi marked as 85p on the can for £1.60. No staff member seemed to actually care. I get they may have had stressful day but service is service. Housekeeping haven't checked and rejected damaged bed sheets. Mine clearly has holes. Didnt expect a lot but basics right should have been the minimum

I was extremely unhappy with my stay as i came with 2 of my young children after being evicted the same day from our home to find blood and poo in the toilet and it was blocked which was very terrifying for my daughter to see who has autism!!

Parking. Lift did not work
1.5 / 5.0
Ideal for access to the town center by foot, and only a few minutes walk from the railway station. Not far to walk to the designer outlets. Parking was in a cashless public carpark 3 minutes walk away. 2 days later I have still not been able to register on their APCOA app, but was able to pay over the phone.
The staff are hard working, very polite and helpful. The hotel is clean and fresh, the room and facilities in it excellent. WiFi was adequate for our needs and no blocking.
We paid for a breakfast which was outstanding. The quality of the cooked food deserves mention, there was no fruit salad option observed. Fruit juice cooler was out of use so cartons were available, orange only. Dining room staff always clearing and restocking, which showed enthusiasm.
Now why I wont be back this year.
Hotel was closed until 2nd weekend of May due to accommodating guests of HM government. Around this time 1 of the 2 lifts went out of order. 3 days before our arrival an email was received saying all lifts were out of use and we would have to use the stairs. Difficult due to our age and physical condition, even though our luggage was taken to our room for us.
I immediately contact the premises directly. We surrendered our king size accessible room for a standard double on the first floor to ease our situation. From the street, this was seven (7) flights of stairs! More like the 3rd floor, not first.
Apparently lifts are not due to be repaired for months. So the one staircase congest

Staff try hard but the lift is out of service & half the stairwells closed on a 8 floor hotel, for 6 month, is not acceptable
Room was clean and tidy.

there was no lift in the hotel that worked, actually had to get to the 6th floor without a lift, had to go up the exit stairs. was a bunch of flies in the hallway and poor breakfast with little choice
did not get two single beds as ordered
nice people who work there

The lifts were out of order. The room was not cleaned completally, we stayed 4 nights and the bed cloth was never changed, the breakfast menú was the same every mornings. But the hotel is in good shape, and the staff Is very kind. I hope very soon you repair the elevators.
