Cannot fault this hotel, a gem in the heart of Lille. Cosy, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Long hair receptionist who checked me in was the nastiest receptionist i have ever dealt with. She definitely is not the right person for the hospitality industry as she showed her unprofessionalism and a bad attitude. I offered to provide the details to the hotel manager but never heard back in the automatic survey letter sent by the hotel. All in all the hotel is a next step up from a hostel. I never stay at a budget places like this one but this was a perfect example why bad hotel accommodation can spoil your experience of visiting different places. This is the worst spent money on the accommodation that can only be compared with an upmarket hostel. Everything about this place is budget, at first sight it will look presentable but during your stay you'll notice how poorly the cleaning services are executes. Please see the photos attached. The worst part was the breakfast yoghurt, served in the reusable jar. The jar lid was filthy, looks like it wasn't washed since the hotel opened. Big health hazard, please see the photo. The bathroom was not clean, no hot water... The list goes on. I would not recommend this place. It's right opposite the main railway station. The street noise will keep you awake all night. The breakfast is probably on the level of a soup kitchen. I have nothing positive to say about the place, especially the staff.

The Rosa Hotel is beautifully decorated and conveniently located near to both of Lille's train stations and to the city centre. The superior room was warm, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge area is a bonus. I'd happily stay here again.

Very convenient location opposite Lille Flanders station. Our room was at the back of the building and there were no issues with street noise. The rooms are small - as many have stated but something to flag to anyone who is a larger individual - in our room, the toilet seat is fairly squashed between the vanity and the wall. We were fine but I think if you were bigger you would 100% struggle. The other thing that I found was rather lacking - we asked for the room to be made up on one occasion, mainly because there was no toilet roll - like none at all. We left for a long day excursion and returned later to find the room had been made up but no toilet roll. It was late and concierge had left so we had to buy our own which felt really silly. It’s a very very very basic thing for room service to fix. On that note about concierge - you don’t get a physical key. It’s not done through an app but a webpage. You’re given a QR code and expected to screen grab it or print it before you arrive. My phone almost died and the whole day I was worried about not being able to get back into my room if I returned after 9pm when concierge had left. Again, not necessarily dealbreakers but kind of wished I had know this before.

Our room was very small which might be a negative for some people but as long as you don't feel the need for acres of wasted space then you'll love everything else about this place. Excellent location, value, quality of amenities and service. If there was one everywhere I wanted to go I'd always stay here.

I picked this hotel as a last-minute decision to go to Lille. I was a little bit apprehensive as they weren’t a lot of reviews, but I’ve since found out it’s only been operating for two months . It was an easy walk, even with my suitcase from the train station. The QR code entry system is a little bit quirky for me, but it worked fine. The room was amazing. The bathroom is quite small for me as i’m a bigger framed person, but the shower is very spacious. The Room also had plenty of space and I didn’t feel claustrophobic, especially with the high ceilings. I only booked for two nights but decided to extend my stay and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was enough to start the day before exploring the town. I would 100% stay here again. Friendly (English Speaking) staff and everything i needed to be close to start exploring.

Wow! Beautiful place! Breakfast was amazing for the 6€ price so many options. The hotel is right in the middle of the center and next to two train stations and shopping mall. The shampoos were from L’Occitane, which was a nice touch. The hotel just had a beautiful aesthetic to it. It was all pink and really well done would highly recommend and stay again

Its a boutique horel so some rooms like single are smallish. But others are larger. Hotel judy opene24 June 2024. But all is new and comfortable. Super close transport, train bus, easy walk to shops and restaurants. This is a real gem. Great staff.

We arrived early in the morning and greeted by friendly staff. Were able to leave cases there until check in. Small lift but at least there was one. The room was adequate. Comfy beds and room although dated was clean. Our rooms were opposite Lille railway station and a busy area but this was fine with us and no noise heard at night. Perfect location for a shopping centre across the road and 5 min walk to Christmas Market and old town Centre. Although good restaurants on door step. Also 5/6 min walk to Lille International St. We also had a little balcony out the front. We paid for breakfast that served croissants, pan o chocolate, other pastries, bread, jam, marmalade, French bread, tea coffee, all for 8e. Good value for money. Ok it wasnt a posh hotel but was ok for the 2 nights, we got what we paid for and would if we returned book it again. Staff very friendly and helpful. Must also add we were a little dissapointed with the market as alot of food stalls.

The hotel is quite run down, bathroom was tiny and the carpet was disgusting in the room we could not walk bare foot. Not at all modern like the pictures on the webiste. Room 23 is to be avoided.

Not even a close resemblance to the pictures on the website. This hotel is a badly maintained and unclean place to stay. The location is good and the staff is friendly, but these are the only positive things I can come up with.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures on the website & the room was even worse. We had booked a twin room & the beds were tiny (childrens single beds) not suitable for adults and one was even worse as it dipped on the side so if you did manage to turn over during the night you would more than likely end up on the fall. The room was of poor quality with marks all over the walls, the floor was dirty and the shower was disgusting that much so we didn't stay at the hotel & booked into another hotel. When I mentioned the state of the room to the receptionist and that it didn't look anything like the pictures on the website she didn't even have a comment. I asked if she would sleep there & again no comment to this question - this speaks volumes to me.

I loved how close the hotel was to the centre. Walking distance from everything. The room is great for 1 person not any more. The internet connection was extremely poor there was no consistency with the connection. There were also mosquitoes in the room and no way of blocking them out. Staff were friendly even there was a slight language barrier.

Dirty sheets, dirty carpets, dirty bathroom… if you can call it a bathroom - you will literally sit in the toilet and have your head inside the sink. The whole bathroom is probably 1 square meter.

Hotel was nicer than I expected for 2*. Room was clean, bed comfortable, shower was nice too. Would definitely stay again if I come to Lille. I was also allowed to take my bike into the room, which gave me piece of mind. Lovely view from the window too.
