Margaret serves great breakfasts - mushroom omelettes, blueberry pancakes! The room was great, luxurious but not precious, with a view of the bay and city.

Though initially it was not exactly what we thought it will be, the owner was very nice, the breakfast was great, the people staying there was also nice and the people in the neighborhood too. The owner also gave us a better room. Overall it was a very good experience.

This was a very nice place to stay! Walkable to the harbor and many restaurants and breweries. I felt very safe in the area. Just know Vancouver is very hilly and this BnB has about 15 stairs to get to the house. Very welcoming host - made you feel right at home and very helpful.

It was Safe ,Quiet, and good Dining options!

The room doesnt not match the regular standar. You pay a 4 stars room when you enter in a equivalent discrete road motel. Breakfast was extremly poor and lack of privacy. Floor was too noisy, the landlord living i the low level complained because of noise. The fact to go to the bathroom in a very small room cause noise when you step. Next time a will go to a good hotel

Well equipped, clean and comfortable room and bath, together with a very tasty, homemade and healthy breakfast. Walking distance to water bus, marina, local breweries and restaurants. Margaret is an excellent host and ambassador for the area. Conveniently located to various Vancouver areas, including Horseshoe Bay. Will return.

The owner doubled the price two weeks before booked arrival for two nights. Cramped entrance for suitcase, crumbs on bed duvet. No plug for hair dryer in bathroom. Walk up slippery shower stall. Cluttered kitchen not suitable for more than four guests. Very dissatisfied.

Staying here felt like being at home, away from home. Margaret and Jazz were wonderful hosts, very warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s like staying at your grandmas home. Margaret is so sweet and very attentive. Front rooms have water view and nice balcony. Breakfast is cooked by Margaret, plentiful and excellent. Close to several restaurants and shops.

It was our first time staying in Vancouver BC and a first staying at a B&B. So I wasn’t sure what to expect exactly. We arrived late (around 7:30) but Margaret was still there and got us checked in. She even gave us the option of upgrading/changing our room to the mini house. Which is the cutest and most comfortable place I might add. All the amenities you would need while traveling. Breakfast was delicious and the house was beautiful. Margaret was also very helpful in giving us advice on where to sightsee in the area. I would definitely come back again for a longer trip and stay here.

What a hidden gem! I didn't know what to expect from Ocean Breeze, tucked away in a neighborhood right off the Spirit Trail. But as soon as I got settled into my room, the Japanese Garden, I knew I had found a keeper. I met Margaret, my hostess and owner, the next afternoon and was charmed by her playful demeanor and openness. She is a wonderful cook, a gracious hostess and really knows how to make her guests feel special.
The room was clean, comfortable and cozy. The bathroom well-stocked with a glorious tub. Margaret had left a plate of fruit, cookies, water and tea/coffee for my arrival, which was so appreciated since I was very, very late. Her two canine companions, Jackson and Princess Toffee, were interactive and as welcoming as Margaret.

Nice home atmosphere and pleasant guests to visit with during breakfast. Margaret was helpful with suggestions on what to see in Vancouver.

We reserved the "suite" which turned out to be a bed and a futon crammed into a hot attic with low ceilings and no shower, just a big, dirty green tub. The dusty taxidermy and furniture crammed in every corner added to the attic motif. We left the windows open all night for air and were treated to industrial sounds and car alarms all night long. In the morning there wasn't enough seating at the table so we ended up eating at the counter. Breakfast was plated with her bare hands next to the turtle aquarium. The cups and glasses had lip prints all over them. I couldn't sleep and I couldn't eat. So much for bed and breakfast.

They have no A/C which is rarely needed but was when we stayed there. The weather was unseasonably warm. We also didn't realize that you have to take the Sea Bus to get into Vancover from North Vancover.

Thank you Margaret, for such a lovely, relaxing time with you. We appreciated everything you did for us, especially giving us time to get over our jet lag. All your restaurant suggestions were excellent as were the tourist options you suggested to us. So nice to come home to our room and just gaze out over the water and enjoy the view. It was also nice to be your only guests for a few days of pampering :)

My husband & I stayed for 6 nights and the stay was very pleasant. The place is very clean, organized, quiet and felt very at home. The owner, Margareta, was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast she served every morning was plenty and thoughtful. She cooked very nice homemade omelette every morning along with many choices of fruits & drinks. We would definitely go back to enjoy the stay.

Room was off the open laundry. Clean but very small. However the view was to die for.

We enjoyed our stay however, the king size bed was in fact 2 twin beds which were not exactly comfortable!!We were also charge an additional $12 by owner, who claimed it was for tax.... I did not argue but would only expect to pay what Hotel.com stated in booking, thus a refund is expected!

Comfortable and nice view of downtown
3.9
great Vancouver locationEasy access by water taxi
3.9
the bed was very soft almost uncomfortable. I Could not sleep the first night and was even ready to go and find a another place.
room was small and there were too many unnecessary things in the room
I think it is more suitable to elderly people who have more time to sit in the balcony and enjoy the view of Vancouver downtown on the other side
3.9
Our hostess was not hospitable; power kept going out in our room, and our hostess blamed this on us. Nearly impossible to watch the television mounted near the ceiling. no place to walk around in in the B &B; felt confined to the
room; no snacks, fruit, coffee, etc. available except at breakfast which was not overly generous though cooked well.
Hostess was rude to us and other guests repeatedly

This B & B was pretty nice and had a nice outdoor area to sit. It was about a 15 min walk from the SeaBus and any restaurants. We had a large clean room with a balcony and a private bath, but it was very hot and there was no air conditioning. As well, the bed wasn`t very comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and breakfast was delicious both mornings. One warning....there is a long flight of stairs from the street that you have to carry your luggage up.

Great views of Vancouver from the room on the top floor: 'Eagles Nest'
Great breakfast in cozy kitchen.
Host is knowing and gives excellent information on what to do as a tourist in Vancouver.
Short walk (10 min) to the Seabus, that takes you directly to Vancouver Centre. No parking hazzle.....

A wonderful hose hotel with a nice hostess. It was my first time to live in B&B hotel, and definitely had a very exciting experience.
