Great location, with a wonderful bar/restaurant. As with most places in Edinburgh, dont forget your reservation at the restaurant, though! Room was spacious and staff extremely helpful and kind. Parking in this neighborhood is very limited and expensive, so be prepared for that.

We visit Edinburgh once a year and often visit Tiger Lily, but this is the 1st time we’ve stayed. Great location, beautiful large room with views from over Leith. Huge shower room with robes. Fab place for food and cocktails ♥️

Quality products in room. Beautifully furnished.

Staff were mega-friendly and accommodating. We couldn't check in until 1:00am, but that was no problem for them. We've stayed here before many years ago but I don't think the rooms have seen a major refurbishment in the interim. Bathroom tile grout is missing in places, stains on seats. The room looked into a small internal "courtyard" that was basically viewing into other rooms and privy to the bar atmosphere until early in the morning. Breakfast was good and the communal areas are still stylish. Nice but I'm not sure I'd pay £300 again to stay here.

Beautiful, lots of interesting chairs and flowers. Very unique

This hotel is more nightclub/ cocktail bar than hotel.
Have to go thru very noisy crowded area to get to reception even.
Room was new, spacious and very quiet but no atmosphere whatsoever. Quite spooky in fact as had to go thru 2 lots of fire doors, low lighting & deathly quiet.
Look elsewhere.

Our stay was brilliant, the staff were attentive and helpful. We even got a free cocktail each, as our key card didn’t work first time.

Wonderful and fun property with large rooms in the heart of Edinburgh new town. The decor and bars are fun and active.

A friendly and modern hotel with a few well stocked bars, the staff are great and helpful. A good choice of gluten free food, the chicken burger is awesome. The rooms are fabulous, we stayed in room 22 and it’s a wonderfully spacious room, with very comfortable beds.
It’s in the New Town and not too far from the Old Town, we walked daily in under 20 minutes. If you can, get the blue cocktail offer wrist band, it costs £5 but cocktails then cost £5 too, it’s well worth it if you enjoy a cocktail of several. The outside seating is fabulous and very comfortable. We went the week before the Fringe Festival and we had all the advantages of the practicing and pop up bars, without the huge price difference.
I will definitely be back to this hotel, it’s superior in every way.

Great property where the staff were brilliant and very friendly. One of the group had an issue with the room but the staff did everything possible to sort it. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful room and amazingly quiet except for the very squeaky floor and issue with the door. The carpet rail from the hall kept jamming the door.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. Gorgeous decor a very active evening bar and restaurant on premise. Rooms just a tad small with traveling with a couple large suitcases but on all very enjoyable stay. Close to all the beautiful sites that Edinburgh has to offer. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed 4 nights and the hotel was very comfortable. We were worried when we arrived because the front part of the hotel is a bar and it was very noisy, but in the rooms there was no noise, very large room, great bathroom, spacious. Good breakfast.

Great location, near good restaurants both for breakfast and dinner. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Bar and restaurant is active. Around the corner from the castle.

Restaurant and bar were great. Location to shopping and Castle are within walking distance. There is no on property parking. On street pařking is expensive and needs to be monitored and updated every 3 hours.

Lovely Hotel staff very helpful , just a pity about the delivery men at 5am shouting , but other than that it was very clean , spacious and in a great location

Horrible room condition when they laid the flooring they skipped using a pad so the floors screeched and rattled as you stepped around the room. Holplstered chair were dirty and thread worn. Just plain poor craftsmanship throughout would never return or recommend
