This was our 4th stay at Jiva Hill. We absolutely love the hotel and its surroundings. We have a corner room which is worth the extra money as the views from the wrap around balcony are stunning. Staff is fantastic, food is great and rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Would highly recommend

A fantastic stay at Jiva Hill. We will go back without a doubt as it was terrific for all of us. The only thing I would not do next time, is go to the Jiva Hill restaurant. We waited 40 minutes for someone to take our order and a further 40 minutes before we got any of our meal. With a starving 9 year old and feeling at little tired as it approached to 10.20pm we decided to head to our room. When we got the food, it was absolutely delicious but sadly the wait, and the feeling of complete and utter disorganisation and lack of communication between the staff led to a disappointing experience. We will try the Italian restaurant on site next time, which, we have been assured is much faster service.

A magical place. Can’t believe getting this tranquility in a property only 20 minutes from Geneva. Everything about it is just great from the service to rooms to the food. It offered a good space for kids. It’s my second stay at it and I am looking forward to come again.

This is our favourite hotel in Europe to date. A lovely small luxury retreat. It’s a fifteen minute drive from Geneva airport. Stunning setting looking out over the golf course and mountains. This time we had a deluxe corner room and the views were spectacular. Staff are very friendly and professional. Restaurant is lovely. Supermarket a few minutes away and there are bikes for you to use to explore. It’s going to be refurbished in November and more rooms added for 2020 so will definitely be back to see what those are like.

This is a peaceful hotel to stay at but I struggle with the 5 star rating. Service is not comparable to other 5 star hotels. No extras. Breakfast should be included for pricing and there needs to be some updated food menus.

Amazing, friendly staff in a beautiful surrounding. Just a short drive from Geneva center and airport. The only comment is that id you need to go to Geneva make sure to order a cab far in advance, as I was late by nearly an hour to my morning meeting in the city!

We stayed here for a weekend in November and I have to say it exceeded all of our expectations. It is short drive from Geneva airport. the hotel offers a shuttle service for c£54 which is the cheapest we could find. The location is stunning. Surrounded by the golf course and mountains all around. It was also lovely weather. We were able to sit out in our swimwear for a good few hours in the day. We had one of the lodges with a private Jacuzzi and it is one of the best places we have stayed. It is like a private retreat. There is a spa and I had a lovely massage there. The food and drink is very nice though a little expensive. We didnt eat at Shamwari, but the restaurant looked nice. Staff are very professional and attentive. There are bikes that can be used free of charge. We went for a bike ride to the centre of the village where there was a supermarket and some other shops. If you are looking for tranquillity, with stunning views and ultimate luxury this is the place for you.

Great hotel. Amazing views of the mountains and the design (especially the lighting at night) is superb. I loved the alfresco dining experience with a great tasting menu and very good wine list with some choice French wines. Highly recommended for business or a personal get away!

Hotel is very nice, there are wonderful details in every corner. Large modern and comfortable rooms. High quality details from lobby to room amenties. Smiling and helpfull staff. Large and nice indoor swimming pool. But poor spa facilities very small sauna and steam bath. There is no relaxing area.

We were appalled at the prices for Geneva hotels so we drove 20 extra minutes to Crozet, France (think of it as an extension of Geneva) in the hills, and what a difference! A truly luxury hotel with beautiful rooms, linens and one of the best bathrooms ever. Great indoor pool, sauna, sunbathing area, and workout room. And we had a truly fabulous and memorable dinner at their restaurant!! Innovative and delicious; not something you'd expect from a hotel restaurant. Beautiful grounds to walk around (a golf course, lake); and you can explore the French towns nearby on Lake Genenva (Lac Leman) or elsewhere too. Only one day for us -- wish we had more!

The hotel is part of the Relais & Chateaux group but is newly built--most hotel members are older chateau type properties. It serves mostly golfers, and is located in a breathtaking setting not far from Geneva, where we were headed. My only complaint was that we were ignored at breakfast. While we clearly heard that others arriving after us were asked if they wanted an egg dish, we were never approached to order. I was waiting for our waiter to ask. After about 20 minutes another table was served their eggs, and the waiter was standing around and talking to another waiter, I called the head waiter over to ask why we were not given that option-- I was clearly annoyed at the lack of attention we were shown for a restaurant/hotel of that caliber. He apologized, but it was too late for us to order eggs. He did offer us the buffet breakfast that we ate at no charge. I felt this was the correct solution, and hopefully this will not happen to other guests. As a former travel agent with 25 years experience sending my high-end clients to the best hotels throughout the world, and personally staying at over 100 hotels from this group, I still recommend this one!

This hotel is amazing. It is set within the most lovely surroundings, with a view of the Mounts Jura from your room. Everything was perfectly clean and stylish, a pool, spa and the type of restaurant you would expect to find Gordon Ramsey in charge of. Our room was well designed, great TV that you could watch from the bath, bed was really comfortable and the views were great. If you wanted a bit of privacy, you could put down the automatic shutters on the windows (how cool is that?) My husband really liked the shutter button. Ate at the restaurant in the evening, great atmosphere and great food. We had one of the nicest meals we have had anywhere. It was a little pricey but the quality was exceptional. I would love to go back on a golfing weekend the next time and get up into the mountains. CERN is just around the corner too.
