The front desk staff were amazing allowing us early checkin and helping us out with a wifi situation.
10.0
Staff helpful and polite. Kitchen pots, crockery and cutlery supplied if required. Seperate sink for washing up.
Property has been refurbished to a good standard. It is noisy but if you're staying in a motel it will be near a road.

It was great.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and looked newly renovated. However the amount of homeless people was unraveling and I never felt safe even walking to my car.

Horrible beds. Very low quality. No weather strip around door so we got to listen to every vehicle that drove by on 101 Hwy, which i2 100' from the rooms.

Always clean, staff professional, friendly, down to earth, affordable and very convenient location easy to navigate to and from the motel.

We had a hard time finding the location. Its kind of tucked away. We booked based on overall rating and that it had been updated recently. When we pulled in, there was alot of people standing in the parking lot, on the stairs and outside their rooms. The streets around the hotel had alot of homeless. We personally did not feel comfortable or safe staying there. We did not even check in based on the surroundings.

Rooms were big, had separate rooms, all new. need to have an AC in room with door. Kitchen and bathrooms were nice.

You get what you pay for. Not enough parking, no security, had to purchase bug spray and catch boxes . Don't know if its nats from drains water in sinks or come in as doors are opened. As much as they tried to make the interior modern, it was held back by the stained sheets, hairs in bedding, and a weird smell in room.

Everything was new and perfectly cozy! Great place to stay.

The motel itself is great. We had a one bedroom suite with another bed and a kitchenette. It was really nicely sized. Very clean inside but the neighborhood is a little run down and there are a few homeless folks around. Make sure you bring all your belongings in from your vehicle.
3.0
The room was clean but not the most comfortable as the linens were really basic - thin blankets and only 2 pillows per bed. Our in-room coffee maker was broken. There is no shampoo or conditioner provided in the bathrooms.
It was fairly noisy in the evening due to the unhoused population which seems to hang out in the area.

Good location, convenient.

The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. The hotel.isnold and shabby, but the rooms were okay. Staff was nice but hard to get a hold of at times.
10.0
Very clean & nicely prepared big rooms, convenient & ample parking. Shower pressure is a bit too strong and would be nice to have a small table since it has a kitchenette. Overall a great place for the value. Would recommend this inn.

Area is very Bose with large amount of traffic on the street. Not for light sleepers.

The room itself was very clean and functional and the check in staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel itself has long term stays and is in a very undesirable area. We took absolutely everything in from our car so that there was nothing to tempt a break in. I was charged double for our deposit- should have been charged $150 US but was charged $300 US on my credit card. I only noticed this because I get a notification text from my credit card company for charges over $100. I addressed this upon check in (they charged me a couple of hours before we arrived) and they credited me for the extra charge ($150 US). When I checked out they assured me they would credit the other $150 US that day but said it would take a few days to show up on my statement. I patiently waited 5 days and did not see a credit so I texted the manager asking when he credited my credit card - did not receive a reply. Three days later we called the manager and he assured us that he had put the credit through. The next day the credit went through but it was very obvious that it was not done until AFTER we called. I would not stay here again for 2 reasons - very sketchy area (and activity in the area) and poor management.

The floors needed to be mopped little better but overall we had a good stay

Nice hotel but seems to be quite a few people hanging out on the streets. That’s probably normal for the area. Everything ended up great

The gentlemen at the front desk (Johnny I think) was wonderful and even offered to help with our luggage. The room was clean and comfortable but the area of town wasn’t what we expected. Homeless everywhere so even walking our two little dogs felt unsafe. We have never been to Eureka though so maybe that is common.

I and another female were victims of an attempted robbery on the motel premises at around 5:00pm. He appeared to be one of the overwhelming homeless drug addicts that are all over downtown. We contacted the police and they took a report.
This was our first time visiting Eureka, and we were absolutely devastated to see the amount homeless, drunkards, and addicts roaming the streets at all hours of the day like zombies. I did not expect that.
Since we no longer felt safe, we decided to cut our vacation short and we checked out today July 26, 2024 at 9am. It would behoove Motel 6 to invest in security patrols to mitigate this happening again.
For that, please advise whether you would be amenable to provide a full refund.

There was a slightly strange wet dog smell in our room

It was the nicest place we’ve stayed in a very long time and the front desk guy was great!

Room was beautiful. Location near Old Town. However, very noisy when logging truck went by. Heater also seemed to cycle too frquently

Road traffic was a bit of a problem but walkable to Old Town and the water.

Probably the best Motel 6 affiliate I have stayed at..
They do the gest they can in a rougher part of downtown

Hotel room was great, nice and updated. The area around the hotel seems a little rough. It’s a bit noisy with the 101 running right by it. Would stay here again.

The room was nice but not as clean as it should be. There were flys in the room and it smelled like smoke. The area around our room (115) was very noisy starting around 7 am since the utility closet was next to our room and the staff start their day early (not their fault, just didn't appreciate getting woken up to banging at 7 after driving 10 hours the night before). Beds were comfortable and felt clean.

Very clean and nicely kept

linen and sheets are poor quality. questionable about the clearness. location is at least good near downtown. It's practically Motel 6. May I should not expect too much?

Clean white linens! Fantastic staff, so much within walking distance! One thing is they could really use some new pillows, they were flat and hard, but I will absolutely stay there again!

Hotel and rating were misrepresented. I would not stay there again.

I was an extended stay and had a kitchenette

I had to get rid of at least a dozen flies and gnats. Room looked clean so I’m not sure how they got there, but it made the whole experience rather gross. Didn’t seem to have much choice in eureka.

On a busy street. No breakfast or shampoo. Not a good nights sleep. It was noisy and had so much light coming through blinds that it was as if we left a light on all night. One of the beds was hard, the other was okay. The heater kept clicking and cycling on and off every second. We finally just shut it off. Shower diverter let most of the water go down the tub spout.

Clean, quiet, safe and comfortable
