Hotel was lovely.
First impression was who I presume was the owner who tutted at me when I called to ask if we could check in then came across rather rude, luckily young lady who checked us in later that day was very polite and banished our thoughts of the rude ‘owner’
Breakfast was lovely, room was relaxed and comfy

Ideal location for access to the marina and restaurant, great walks and biking, room was excellent, slightly noisy from the open restaurants below but was expected. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic hotel - great views and fab location - so good we went twice this year

Professionally run small "family" hotel with high standards and customer care provided at the highest level. We were met on arrival with smiling faces and any query / need was responded to efficiently and pleasantly. There is no residents bar / space to relax in the hotel, nor any private garden, but this is not a huge concern as there are several restaurants within 50m of the front door. Our rooms were refreshed (really well) on a daily basis and the small fridge in the room had a few welcome sodas / waters stacked inside. The fridge is a useful touch. The breakfast room was a little stuffy - and was missing a view over the lake - but it was very efficient and breakfast was varied, fresh and enjoyable. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks

Very friendly staff. The bedroom was small but clean and comfortable. The dog was welcomed with no fuss. Plenty of tourist activity during the daytime but quietened down a lot in the evening. No evening meals in the hotel during our stay but plenty of nearby eating places with good food.

Very nice stay but the price was too expensive for what it was. The room did not have view on the lake (we probably missed that in the description). Breakfast was in a room without windows (which is a bit sad during nice sunny days).

Very beautiful area within a short walk to Lac Du Bourget and the adjoining community park. Nearby walking and running trails, restaurants, shops and lake lunch and dinner cruises all within a 30 second walk. Nice hotel with a good breakfast for around 12 euros per person. Very friendly staff.

Quite hard to find, but parking good when you get there

Location of this hotel is great, right at lakeside.

Wonderful hotel on the lake with friendly service.

The hotel was good and quiet overnight. unfortunately there is no air conditioning nor a fan in the room so it was a bit hot . However, overnight it was fine and the location is excellent with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. All in all good value for the money

Good location. Quiet.

We had just one night in L'Iroko but I'd be inclined to go back for longer. Our room had a side view of the lake and the road was quiet overnight even with our balcony doors open ( it was a warm night - though there was also a fan). We appreciated the hotel car park as we had lots of luggage to unload. The Italian receptionist (whose name I didn't get) was very helpful and friendly. Even though we arrived mid-evening and didn't get out to eat till gone 9pm, there were lots of lively restaurants nearby still doing service. The next door 'Skiff pub' was a brasserie that served wholesome food in a bustling atmosphere. Breakfast in the hotel was 12 euros pp which seems about standard from experience. It was a fairly typical buffet with good variety though a shame that it is served in a windowless room. Overall, recommended.

Ideally located 100m from the lake, it as a perfect stop for us en route to Italy

The hotel is in a very good location which is a bit of a 'hub' next to the lake. On booking we asked for a room with a view of the lake as it was a four day break following our wedding and the request was duly fulfilled. We were given a very nice corner room which meant that we had a 'double aspect'. The only downside of a room on this side of the hotel is that it can get very noisy with the noise of cars and motorbikes through the night from about 20:00 to 1:00. This isnt a problem for us as we love motorbikes and you get used to the noise. Light sleepers may be disturbed around 5.00 when the delivery drivers arrive to supply the bar/restaurant below and the ones opposite. Maybe ask for a carpark room?
Breakfast is disappointing but convenient. It is a complete self serve right down to if you want bacon and egg, you cook it yourself on a 'raclette' style hotplate. Three choices of cereal but a dry. As you would expect in France, french bread is plentiful with lots of jams and nutella. A couple of yoghurt choices and a couple of sliced meat options and cheese options from a small fridge. Dont expect a full on buffet style like a hotel. This is very much a bed and breakfast.
We would stay here again as the location is very nice and allows direct access to the port for a nice stroll in the day or evening and the restaurant downstairs (Les Voilles) is great, friendly service with amazing food. They also do not rush you so our meals averaged 2.5 hours every evening!

1) Entrance desk often not manned -- sometimes inconvenient 2) Room not well dusted -- cobwebs on lamps and on balcony 3) Breakfast lacked vegetables -- somewhat over priced. 4) Adjacent free parking very convenient 5) Positive greatly outways negative -- we enjoyed our stay.

After driving a considerable distance from Italy, we arrived rather late to this hotel. When we rang the bell, the woman said "Welcome, we are expecting you. Here is the code for the door and the key to your room is on the desk." the room was medium sized with a refrigerator full of complimentary drinks. Much needed I might say. The room was quiet with a good shower and we slept well.
Their was a wonderful little patio with two chairs and a table and the next morning I stepped out on the patio and what a view of the lake! Coffee and tea in room which we enjoyed on our deck. The hotel is very close to great restaurants and a nice walk lakeside. I only wish we could have stayed a few more days!! Don't forget it even included free parking.
