A stay at the hotel would be enhanced by having more information provided at reception or better still in rooms; i.e. where to find the milk in one's room; site and hours of the restaurant, control of the TV. availability of hot water in shower, access toWiFi. In short the hotel needs to pay more attention to the needs of guests. Accessibility is limited and should be considered when allocating rooms.

Room was average. Hotel was old and showed it. Not really kept up. Staff wasn't very friendly at check-in. Weird stairs. Only plus is across from major transportation. But I still wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel room is clean but in a very poor condition

2nd stay there for a quick overnight before Eurostar. Last time was fine upstairs comfy bed and clean. This time we were in a basement room. It wasn’t clean, hairs everywhere and very worn decor and in need of upgrading. Expensive for what we got, shame as it’s a perfect location. Won’t be using again

Awful start, wanted ID, or demand it, yet I don’t have it because I was only in London for the day. No wifi password , they also wanted £100 deposit which I refused.
The hotel is basic, but clean, walls could do with a paint in the room. The room was clean, bathroom clean, it was okay for the price, next time I ll stay at the premier in down the road, better customer service. On leaving it was a different person on reception who was lovely.

It was so noisy at night I could not sleep at all.

Hotel was disgusting in that electrics hanging off , no lock on the door, doors hanging off furniture in shreds and room was only big enough for a bed. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in

Helpful staff. Great location

Close to train station, convenient, nice staff, found some hair on mattress, can hear people walk down stairs, bit noisy

Good value, small db room with nice new bathroom and comfortable bed, fridge and TV. Asked for quiet room and ended up in the half-basement (no car traffic, but rumbling from the tube below). Small reception, staffed first with a serviceminded guy, later with a grumpy older man. Room service very late in the day (around 4PM)

When reviewing this hotel you have to take into account how much you paid, having said that the basic of a mattress being of a minimum standard is required. They were very thin and lumpy. We stayed in the basement where they have blacked out the window and had to pass through what we assumed was the service corridor to get in and out. Bags of laundry and doors open with not the best of aromas. Noisy off trains but once asleep they didnt disturb us. No lifts to basement so two small tight staicases to carry suitcases up and down. The room was quite worn in places but the cleanliness to us is more important which was quite good. We would use again but maybe after we'd tried a few other places to book first. Only saw reception staff who really do need a course on customer interaction.

It was clean and convenient.

Great location close to Kings Cross. Nice enough room. Was surprised to be asked for a £100 deposit ehich should be better advertised on here. When i asked when i would get it back was tild about a week if paying by card or upon checking out if in cash. Theres an ATM right outside so not an issue. However when checking out the manager at the front desk was not the friendliest when I requested my deposit.

Modest hotel, but VERY convenient, right by Kings Cross station

This hotel is great for a short stay, like we did, before catching an early train. The location around Kings Cross makes it very noisy.

VERY GOOD HOTEL
2.0
The single room was fine with a small ensuite. Cleanliness was fine, a little dusty. Unfortunately there was a lot of slamming door noise and an alarm that went off multiple times during the night affecting my quality of sleep.

Diffucult with steps to almost all rooms. Very good position and good restaurant- but requires going outside to access.

My room was very clean and well equipped with fridge, safe and tv that worked. Shower was a rain forest type and Roger towels were large and decent quality. My room was below ground but had a window. Unfortunately there was a horrible smell of damp which was quite overpowering. I’ve stayed there previously and its been good.

Second time staying here, great location to get around London

Staff at the front counter when I checked in, was extremely rude. Too busy on his phone, couldn’t be bothered to help. Could hardly understand him and he wouldn’t speak up. Very rude. Bed was uncomfortable.
Won’t get my business if they’re okay with their staff being rude. Completely unacceptable

Generally quite, but very old furnished has ver uncomfortable beds.

Great location next to the underground. Worn out. Needs improvements indeed.

Basic hotel very convenient for King’s Cross

This is a hotel just for one night. Our room was between 2nd and 3rd floor, very uncomfortable if you are traveling with suitcases. The thing that bother me the most were the room doors. These were adjusted to be closed as hard as they can, so you can’t sleep at night because of the slamming doors. The good thing about the room is the cleanness and confortable beds and sheets.

Travelled back from Paris and this hotel is conveniently placed for St. Pancras and King's Cross
4.0
Shabby rather than shabby chic. But clean small room for a very reasonable price directly opposite the station. Stayed there many years ago and it was a dump. But needs must so rebooked for a quick workbthing. Its been refurbished and the bathrooms are very good. The building is very old and the windows are in need of maintenance. Great for a short stay before an early eurostar or an onward journey from Kings Cross.

Great location, hotel in average condition, narrow stairs, no lift. Bedroom basic, but bed comfortable and good shower. Great location but noisy outside.
Check-in was not good - person in front complaining that they were missing a booking and only one person at reception. After 15 minute wait, then told me to fill in a registration form, could have been doing that while waiting. Person helping with bags was very good and polite, although I left bags in secure room and when I collected I asked if he wanted to see tickets and he said "no it's ok", so not so secure.
All in all, excellent location although noisy at night and early morning, basic but comfortable rooms, clean, not so easy to navigate with large bags although help to room was good, and staff polite but check-in slow. May give another try if using Kings X trains.

It is a good spot for access to station the initial staff at check in were great. Bearing in mind that whilst they advertise a lift you still need to negotiate a number of steps which is difficult when you have mobility and age issues. The air-conditioning did not work and was not fixed despite promises by a male staff member.

Tired property

A good location for train travel and Underground (subway)
travel. Five minute walk. At the right price it can be value
for money.

A bit tatty and beds not great

The desk person was very rude! If you asked a question he was very dismissive. The room was very dirty and small. The hotel in general was not very clean and smelled, the air conditioning did not work.
5.0
Incredibly convenient to Kings Cross Station. Rooms are small, but well appointed and very comfortable.
6.0
It's really convenient for Kings Cross station and the areas around it. The area is a busy one, however, so if you are sensitive to noise at night, this is not a place to book. The value for money, however, seems pretty good with a clean and modern en suite, AC and space for clothing. Even a safe.

Location is excellent
Staff are helpful and friendly
Could do with a slight refurb and update

I liked that it was close to the King’s Cross station. But property is facing construction site. My room was on 4 th floor. There is an elevator only up to 3rd floor. The elevator to go up is again one staircase down the lobby. I wasn’t told that elevator is only up to 3rd. I had to ask other customers. The sink water did not drain. Shower is is right on the top not reachable or movable. The window was open. I closed it but could not lock it. Bathroom fan made sound. Floor wasn’t the cleanest. Walls had marks. Sheets looked clean but I could see opening of the comforter at one corner and could see some hair there. It’s across the station and had lot of outside noise.
4.0
Great location, the rooms are old but it's London and it's directly across the road from Kings Cross station, which is why you're staying there let's be honest. It is a little odd that they didn't let us have guests in the room as my sister had come up to visit and she wasn't allowed up, we had to go elsewhere to catch up
