Unfortunately the city was hit by an earthquake and the are under construction

What a fantastic stay we had. We came for the food (top notch restaurant) but fell in love with the town too. The hotel is brilliantly situated and also has an excellent cafe concession in town. Try the truffle scattered scrambled eggs. At the hotel, we had a 7 course dinner of dreams. Staff couldn't have been nicer. There is a lovely spa area in the basement too.

The property is perfectly located. It is just off the main square, close to the harbor, shopping and dining.

Very classy and thoughtful hotel with good service. Breakfast service was a little disorganized though.

A beautiful, polished hotel in the heart of a lovely mountain town. Exceptional service and food make this a destination in and of itself.

A really lovely and luxurious place to stay. We loved the tour around the palace when we first arrived and appreciated hearing some of the history of the building. Parking was very easy when we arrived and very close to the hotel. The staff were super friendly and all spoke English to an exceptionally high standard. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice and the view from the windows of the surrounding buildings and mountains was wonderful too.

Amazing stay, lovely hotel, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere

...the village has a very long way to go to recover from the 2016 earthquake, so activity is minimal. The hotel is a treat, especially the food and the spa! Very relaxing place.

Beautiful room, great food and great service! Will definitely stay there again if I visit Norcia again.

Nearly perfect, except for an iron frame bed that squeaked with the slightest movement. After a sleepless night, we were moved to another room, without question. However, the staff did not seem surprised at the problem. I suspect that is a recurring condition. The rooms were comfortable, tasteful, and the hotel was ideally situated. The hotel and restaurant staffs were very helpful and professional.

Wonderful service, lovely room. Couldn’t have been better.

Fabulous. Incredible style and comfort and extraordinary food and attention at breakfast and dinner in the Michelin starred restaurant. The attention to detail is astonishing. The city was hit by an earthquake one year ago so many places are closed but local food stores, which carry the local specialities: prosciutto, truffles and lentils are in full operation and the quality and prices cannot be beat.

The palazzo is a visually stunning property. Elegant, serene, and welcoming, it immediately sets the mood for a stay. The staff is extraordinary. Nothing is impossible.whatever your need or desire may be, the staff will find a way. From truffle hunts,to cooking lessons to a private farm tour, they are there to make your stay memorable and a delight. The food is classic Italian with a very modern twist which earned a Michelin star this year. This was our second visit, and we are planning our third already. The palazzo was not affected by the terrible earthquake. They, like the brave people of Norcia, are taking care of their own, and helping to rebuild a beautiful city.
We cannot wait to return and do our part support them. Bravo Norcia!

Really nice staff, great food and rooms are comfortable. We would recommend to our friends!

Beautiful place with character. The staff is wonderful, extraordinary landscape, relaxing atmosphere…. Everything was excellent, from preparing our car at 4 AM in order to get early to nearby Monte Sibillini national park to great dinners, especially at the hotel restaurant. There were great jazz musicians and food in the range of Michelin starred restaurant.
Altogether, very interesting area that is worth visiting and great hotel and restaurant. All recommendations! Landscape photographers, people who love nature, great gastronomy and all others, all of them will enjoy this place, National park Monte Sibillini and of course Palazzo Seneca!

We spent a very romantic night at the Palazzo Seneca. Although we had no view, our room was so wonderful laid out with a very large bathroom and a four-poster bed. The Palazzo has wonderful little lounges and libraries to discover. In some respects, it's probably a little too nice for this little town. The staff are very helpful, if a little cautious due to their lack of English fluency. We saw the spa, but it was a lot more intimate than we had imagined and so decided to give it a miss.

This was an amazing historic property in the center of town. Every time I took a turn, there was another sitting room that was to be discovered. We loved sitting in front of the ancient stone fireplace with a wood burning fire going. The library had a great book collection and I loved the secret door. The breakfast room was like dining in a castle and the service was terrific.
4.7
the staff very nice n friendly, the restaurant is fantastic. However, the rooms are a bit worn out. Bathrooms would require some renovation, beds are not comfortable given the price paid.

The hotel was pleasant enough, although not as well appointed as the web material had suggested. Given the cost of the accommodation, we had expected a bit more from the facilities, especially when compared with other accommodation in which we had stayed in Umbria. The hotel restaurant was very expensive.
The location of the hotel was good.
The staff were friendly and attentive. I am well aware that we were visitors in another country so it is a courtesy to us - as well as a business necessity for the hotel - to speak in English with English speaking guests. Some of the staff responses to our questions left us wondering exactly how much they understood.
