As always very enjoyable stay, one complaint, wouldn't be for most people, room way too warm but better that than cold.

Nice hotel, clean room.
Windows opened inwards towards the wall reducing air allowed into the room.
Staff were lovely. Food was good.

We had a lovely room, however the service was consistently poor. It was disorganised, which is unfortunate. But when we were charged €30 for a fruit salad before complaining multiple times about the insanity of the price.
We were charged for a dessert we sent back as it was nothing like the ingredients listed on the menu and the manager on duty went off in a huff, checked the menu; and instead of apologising and acknowledging we were correct, he threw a menu at us and told us to pick something else. No one came back to take any such order until the other desert - the fruit salad was already eaten. It was a disaster. We argued over the bill three times. The manager was there, walked out of the kitchen area multiple times, saw we were still there, arguing over the €30 charge for a bowl of fruit - mainly an apple - or the dessert we sent back as it contained an ingredient we couldn’t eat, but also didn’t contain the ingredients listed on the menu; and he just kept scurrying away from the dining room once he saw us.
So I wouldn't recommend it personally. Dinner took ages to order, receive and dessert even longer - before the drama over one of them. The inaccurate bill was the final straw. To be fair to one waiter be tried to fix it, but the manager refusing to solve it, or apologise is a disgrace. €30 for a fruit salad of mainly apple is absolutely insane and clearly should have been acknowledged as a mistake, but not by here. Made it a poor evening. The room is fine though.

Bar air con was a bit cool in evening

So many children around, screaming and running around the corridor. Also in the dining area, touching food they were unsupervised.

Beautiful area and hotel! We loved staying here and talking with the locals. Easy walk to get down by the beach.

Expensive for what it was. Our executive suite was just a large room. No frills. Dinner ok. Breafast poor due to delays in seating and average buffet. Not worth what we paid. Staff mostly friendly.

It was missing shampoo, hand cream and the dining room is a misery to get into. We waited 25 minutes to get a table for 3. The food choices were very limited by that time. If you wanted hot chocolate you had to pay in cash on the spot Ridiculous. You could not put the charge on your room bill so you had to go back to your room to get your purse. Clean rooms and an excellent staff should get a shout out but the dining room must change it’s policy

Staff were amazing and helpful. Noisy kids running around very late was dealt with very well. I needed a hotel for a night and this was the nearest, if I had kids travelling with me it would have been ideal

Hotel was nice enough , room was lovely and big . Single bed was rock hard son couldn’t sleep on mattress .
Breakfast was ok , very busy with all the weekend events on . No plates to get breakfast with , then trays were empty had to keep asking staff to refill . Sausages , eggs etc ….. weren’t great , sour taste and eggs freshly cooked were still raw .

Gorgeous hotel in a spectacular setting. There is a great restaraunt on the premises, and it's a short walk to the heart of the Enniscrone village. The room was massive, and our only complaint was a lack of air conditioning, and as we found in all of the hotels we stayed at in Ireland the bedding only has a duvet. As our room was on the sunny side of the hotel the room was quite warm and the windows only opened 7" or so. We were able to get a fan which helped, and used the flat sheet from one of the other beds to sleep under intead of the duvet. So I would recommend getting a room on the ocean view side if you are staying there in the summer months. The town of Enniscrone is wonderful and worth a visit in itself. We walked for hours discovering new and interesting things along the way. As was the case in all of Ireland, the people were kind and gracious.

Always a lovely hotel to stay at when on business in Ballina. Spacious rooms, fridge in room and spotless. Very welcoming staff.

Gorgeous hotel, lovely staff and amazing breakfast. We went for Easter weekend with our daughter and when we were leaving the room I opened the door and there was "bunny" footprints and an Easter egg. My daughter was delighted, it was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

I could not fault this hotel in any way. Very clean and well run. Beautiful facility. Bar food and breakfast excellent and staff very professional. Exceptionally spacious family room.
Enniscrone village is not a nice environment though, depressing and neglected in appearance. We love anywhere near the ocean, however enniscrone is very run down and lacks character. I wouldn’t return to it. Stopped of in mullaghmore en route home and it’s breathtaking, love it.

Fabulous hotel to come with a young family. The boys loved the room with their bunk beds and TV just for them. The supervised play room in the evening was such a treat for mammy and daddy too. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. Would definitely stay again.

A great stay. Very friendly staff and had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Short 10 minute walk to the village pub. Would stay here again.

It would be recommended that the hotel put a fan in each room for those summer days when temperatures are as hot and uncomfortable as they were while I stayed at the hotel.

Beautiful, very clean hotel. Large bedrooms.Food was excellent. Walking distance from a beautiful sandy beach.

The advertisement lied. It does not have laundry facilities, it has laundry service with 48 hours to get clothes back, it is not a beachfront hotel, the golf course is on the beach, at check in when I asked where the beach was they said it was “a ten minute walk,” it took 45 minutes to find my reservation and check us in and THEN the key was coded incorrectly for our room and I had to walk back after all that waiting to get keys reissued. Overall, however, it was the false advertising that hurt us the most since we missed sunset and had to use daylight hours on a later day to do our laundry. I was careful to provide feedback to the staff on the night we arrived and at check out so that it is clear that I had legitimate complaints and I showed them the advertisement so it’s clear that I was not upset by being hungry or tired. We paid a hefty price and this was MOST disappointing.

Big thank you to all the staff. Over with my parents for a funeral. We were at this hotel 3 weeks ago and again all the staff from restaurant, reception , bar staff and other staff just genuinely friendly and very helpful. Rooms are a great size as well as clean and modern. Been in many Irish hotels, have to say definitely all round one of the best.

Our trip was fantastic, we went for my daughters Communion, we had a beaitiful meal in the Bistro bar Saturday evening followed by a few drinks and some lovely music in the bar. My three children loved the room it was really clean and loads of room. The bunk beds was a real treat
2.5
Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were huge and airy, clean and comfortable. Our wet room was a little dated, the tiled floor was rough on the feet and all 'handles' were rusted. when we were getting ready for the wedding party, the bathroom light became very dim, so make up and shaving were impossible, no maintenance on a Sunday, so we had to wait until Monday. The food was excellent especially at the wedding, and breakfast was substantial. Overall though we had a fabulous stay, would definitely return, especially because we have lots of family in Ballina!

Stayed for 2 nights, on a short break with friends, at Diamond Coast. We all found the rooms really spacious, spotless and comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food, breakfast on both mornings and an evening meal, delicious.
We would recommend the hotel wholeheartedly and will definitely be back.
