The stay was not good and I have very large reservations about going there again.
The first room given had a broken wardrobe with very unstable doors which are a hazard.
The second room given had broken AC and was cold the whole night. I had to go to reception to request a heater because this room's phone was missing.
There were also two spiders under the covers.

An old and tired property. In need of renovation. The hotel is close to the A14 and a truck park is right outside your window. Both the curtains and the window do not do their job, and led to a very poor nights sleep. Will not be visiting again.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room was really big and was comfortable. Cant really fault the hotel at all for the one night we were there.

Is it a little dated and basic? Sure. But my room was clean, the shower was good and the staff were all great - and it is inexpensive! Conveniently located for Cambridge.

After travelling for 2 hours we checked in to find the room was in a bad way. The window was wide open on the first floor and a table fan was running which was very odd for November and appeared someone had been in the room just before we had checked in. The bed sitting had stains all over them and the toilets had not been cleaned. The paper towels tray was empty and the general state of the room was appalling. We were extremely disappointed to have to be dealing with a complaint after having travelled a long way. We were given another room and despite it being somewhat cleaner there was a strong smell which we assume is from a pet. Overall we were very disappointed.

Hotel needs a good clean/ repainting/ new carpets. Entrance needs a bit more attention to detail. A bar and proper eating area also required.
Car park can be very noisy.

It was a shambles from the moment we walked in. The room had half the lightbulbs not working , only enough towels for one person and it felt dirty in the bathroom. An hour after arrival the fire alarm goes off. So I get up go to reception to be told it’s a test. It then went off a further 2 times to which I gave up trying to rest and got up to go to eat . I came back got back into bed then again at 3am the alarm went off and didn’t stop the whole hotel poured out into the foyer and the guy who was supposedly in charge was wandering around not seeming to know what to do. He told us to all go back to bed whilst he investigated however I wasn’t prepared to risk my life potentially on his assumption that it was a false alarm. Finally after about 20 min the alarm got silenced and we returned to the room. I felt very anxious the rest of the night as it wasn’t dealt with correctly and couldn’t wait to leave in the morning having had one of the worst hotel experiences ever

The room was clealy in need of updating. The curtains were hanging from the track and it was grubby in all aspects. The carpet needed a clean and was to put it bluntly filthy.
The king size bed was 2 single beds put together. I know this is common and dont mind it at all but the beds differed in height which created a strange surface. The fitted mattress protector and bottom sheet were clearly for a double bed and were too small to tuck in at the sides, they rode up over night exposing a very unsavoury mattress. We had one wafer thin pillow each so called through to reception and the guy that answered said they doubted there were any spare in the hotel, he was rude and clearly couldn't be bothered to look. After a visit to reception and a conversation with a female member of staff, we did get the 2 extra pillows, but I'm sure it shouldn't be so difficult.

It was hopeless. Never again. Beds were rubbish! The springs gave me a bad back for 2 days. Will not be booking with them again!

It was lovely just a bit dated

Location is ideal but the hotel feels somewhat dated now. It’s cheap & relatively clean, so we made it work. There were several suspect marks on the carpet & the bed was awful.

Very good reception
2.0
Clean hotel with friendly staff which was ideal for a one night family stay before attending an event in the city. The restaurant served simple but tasty food which was better than sitting in the services next door. Breakfast was just what we needed with lots of choice.

The room and the hotel generally are dirty, stained floors, walls, windows and furniture, not helpfull staff

Good size rooms and friendly staff

The hotel itself was fine, room was clean, although in need of refurbishing. Staff were fantastic. The surrounding area is at a service station so not great. Needs to be regularly cleared up of rubbish. We had our dog so walking around noticed lots of rubbish that could be cleared up. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel and opted to get something from M&S in the service station. It was a good place to stop off along our way and very pleased we could have our dog stay too.

Our room was quite dirty. Had coffee splashed up the wall, mould in shower, carpets dirty, used spoon in coffee cup, wine bottles under children’s bed, trousers hanging in wardrobe. Sheets, toilet and sink were clean. Common areas including stairwell and corridors had a lot of grime. Deep clean all round is long overdue. Convenient location but we avoided staying here on our return trip through.

Convenient location and lots of options for breakfast in the services. Comfortable stay for a family of 4.

Spacious room but no facial tissue.

The beds small and uncomfortable. Room Looked at the garbage bins out side. No amenities. The toilet didn't work very well. No one on the desk. No security.

First off, the lady who checked us in was excellent. No criticism at all for the staff.
They he hotel is poor. There was black mould in the dirty shower, no shower gel and the room was gritty. We had burgers for tea with 2 glasses of wine in dirty glasses (£50). The coleslaw was inedible, the wonderful person behind the desk got us new portions that were also inedible. The girl then came to take them away under instructions from the cook. (When was it made that the cook hadn’t done a taste test?)
I spent the night being very poorly, I’ll spare the details. Manager in the morning was disinterested in us leaving, didn’t check up on us and ask how it was - we decided not to bother.
Will not return, we recommend you avoid, would have been 1 star had the lady that served us not been so lovely.

Staff were excellent and very friendly, but my room was very tired, had a damaged curtain hanging on one side of the window and I was unable to close the curtains.
No toilet paper in the room, shower tray was a dirty looking off white/yellow on the anti slip grooves.
No sockets next to bed for charging or using mobile devices.
Whole place needs refurbishment as it’s not cheap at £90 a night especially considering the defects.
No aircon, instead an old table fan was left in the room.
One of the worst places I have stayed in 30 years, the only saving grace was the staff who were friendly and helpful.

Overnight stop between working at Cadwell Park Circuit and Brands Hatch.
Great courteous and informative welcome.
Surprised at the better than normal standard of the room. Lots of hanging and drawer space in addition to the usual power points etc. Considering it was at a Motorway Services and presumably most of the customers will be a one night stop these facilities were considerably better than a lot of the 'chain' hotels that seem to expect you to live out of a suitcase?
Lots of eating options at the services, but the Ramada also has its own restaurant with breakfast served from 6am. Again other hotels please take note.
Also amazingly quiet so slept well in the comfortable bed.

Hotel dated and needs refurbishing but I guess you get what you pay for. Safe good though and let us check in early.

Fantastic breakfast! Thankyou

Friendly greating when I arrived. But the hotel is understaffed. One person on reception who had to do check in and bar service. She was called away a number of times for issues with guests. When I went to get a shower the soap dispencer was empty. Went down to reception and had to wait 15mins for the staff to return. Breakfast was very underwelming. There was no orange juice. The bacon and sausages were dry and over cooked. probably would choose to book else where in future.
