Hotel staff reached out a few days before my check-in for my anticipated arrival time. The check-in was busy (two other groups arriving within 5 minutes), but they had adequate staff to provide us all prompt service which had been an issue with some prior hotel/car bookings. I’m conversational w/Italian but the host also spoke excellent English.
While escorting me to my room, the host also made note of the time change that evening which I thought was very considerate where not all countries use day-light savings.
My private single room was just around the corner from the main reception and was accessed through a main entrance with a kitchenette & sitting room shared by two other rooms. I was unaware that I had kitchen access, which may have been my oversight in the booking. so this was a very pleasant surprise since I’m an athlete and eat frequently!
I also had a private garden that was a serene green escape in the otherwise brick & stone city.
My bed was sooooo comfortable. Cozy blankets, good mattress, plush yet firm pillow for good neck support (this is a big bonus for me coming off a shoulder injury).
I was only in the city for one night and had I known my hotel was such a perfect fit for me I would have stayed longer.

I was extremely happy with my stay!
I arrived at the B&B after a particularly difficult day of travel, and the staff welcomed me so warmly that i immediately felt much better.
The room was comfortable and clean, and I really appreciated having access to a full kitchen! I was in Siena for a conference, and the location of the hotel was perfect - very central, within walking distance to everything. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

My room is in great condition as well as the bathroom. There is a shared kitchenette with refrigerator. Joy, the manager of the property ,was extremely helpful and available during business hours to provide advice and help with transport although it is a fairly short walk to the bus terminal. Would stay at this place again in the event that I get back to Siena and I do recommend it.

Siena is possibly my favourite city on earth! This guesthouse is charming, has character and a stones throw from the sites of the centre. Loved it

Very close to the main plaza, duomo, restaurants, and the historical districts of Siena. Small room but clean and has a nice little area for sitting outside.

Joy showed us to our room which is across town from the room which was a bit confusing but not a big deal. She was very nice and told us a bit about the city as we walked to the room. The room had very high ceilings and a large bed which was nice since we had stayed in some rather cramped areas while in Italy. The bathroom was attached and spacious enough to move around in. The shower was hot and drained well. Overall, one of the better places we stayed on our trip, and I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again. Excellent value for the money and a very kind host to boot.

Clean bedroom with private bathroom (which is very important and somehow scarce in Siena). Friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the city center

I LOVED THIS PROPERTY!
I had a great little room in a wonderful neighborhood convenient to the Cathedral and central Siena. It was a ground floor room in a 3 bedroom apartment. I never meet the others staying in the apartment but saw their rooms after the checked out while they were being cleaned. All three rooms were nice.
We shared a common living and kitchen area that was sufficiently stocked. My room was furnished with great antiques. The bathroom was small and the shower was cramped but usable (I didn't travel to Italy for a Bathroom).
My favorite part of the apartment was the garden terrace. It was a lovely spot with a bistro table and 2 chairs with a view of the top of the cathedral bell tower and the neighbors very well maintained vegetable garden. I could has spent days just sitting on this terrace. Every morning I would have my breakfast at the table and enjoy the view and the quiet.
This apartment gave me a real since of what it must be like to live in Siena. I hope I am fortunate enough to visit Siena again and enjoy this lovely Italian gem.
On a side note - Be aware that the rental office is across the street from where my GPS placed it. So look around when you get to the general vicinity. Also know that Siena is HILLY! Those with mobility issues may have problems with steep terrane. While this was a ground floor apartment, there were 2 steps into the building and 2 more to the apartment.

Nice room and good service. Very close to the center of town and still not too far away from the Ill Duomo parking garge.

The room is clean, staff is very helpful and friendly, location is just couple minutes to the cathedral. Parking is about 8-10 mins walking with up and down hill and we only stayed 1 night, so we decided to leave our luggage on the car and just carry the backpack

Excellent Experience, Joy was extremely friendly, available and helpful with every single issue, question, and request we made. Better than that impossible!!!! The room was neat in every sense and location close to absolutely whatever you want to visit in Siena ,just a few steps away from the major monuments and the spectacular main square, and a brand new laundry. The only downside was the the lack of WiFi, which could be easily fixed. Apart from that, this is a really nice place to stay.

Simple, bare-bones but clean room and bathroom. A flat in a house has been converted to provide 3 separate rooms with common entrance area which has a kitchenette. Room had little more than just a bed and a small table. It was fairly cold but at night heating was turned on.
Location is reasonable, within about 5min walk from Duomo and Piazza del Campo - however is on the opposite end of the Old town from the train station. Check in office is a few hundred metres down the road - note it has limited hours and outside of those hours there is no one.
Overall a decent option for a short stay if basics is all you need.

I had a single room in a small apartment near the Duomo. Two other rooms were shared by other unknown guests. Kitchen available. Best part was a small private garden outside my room.

When you've adjusted to living in a cosy flat that is in a building perhaps built in the 15th century, you start to really love this location. It's homey, quiet and very picturesque. The beautiful Horticultural Garden of the University of Sienna is just around the corner. It's an easy 5 to 10 minute walk to the Piazza del Campo, the Duomo, and most museums and attractions in this timeless city. One stipulation, don't expect a 21st century, ultra-modern, sleek hotel, this is living within history, therefore there are lots of stairs and few elevators. However, the atmosphere is incomparable.

We had a brief overnight stay here and enjoyed our time. The location was perfect, the price was reasonable, and the Italian family who owns it is so pleasant and charming. My mom happened to be sick at the time and they brought us a hot water bottle for her. I also had a work emergency and needed to print something and they let me print in their office, which was beyond my expectations. Our apartment/room was quaint, though our bathroom and hallway had motion-sensing lights that were terrible and did not function well. We were also under the impression that the place had wi-fi, but the wi-fi access was actually only in the office, which was in the building adjacent to our room and not convenient. The fact that they offer breakfast is really nice, though it was nothing special (yogurt, packaged croissants, coffee). However, the place is perfectly located for all the major sights in Siena and the charm of the family (who have apparently been running this business for over 60 years) made it worth it.

There is no A/C so the window was open. The wine bar across the street was too noisy into the morning hours

The hotel is in very centre of the old city, between Duomo and Piazza del Campo. The room was very nice and clean, with private bathroom ( I was in a room named Conte). The breakfast was almost basic. Very pleasant experience!

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms spread across various buildings in heart of old Siena so NO access by car. GPS can't get you close without taking you on restricted roads which we did, but staff contacted police to request that the fines be waived. First room right off the Main Street and no AC so we were awoken at 3 AM by garbage trucks, delivery trucks, etc. which didn't g stop. Fortunately they were able to move us to a location several blocks away that was quieter for subsequent nights. Second room was very large and very quiet. Beds and pillows hard in both rooms and furniture worn but spotlessly clean. Showers tiny but water pressure good. Breakfast: coffee and fresh cake good, but rest were packaged items. Considering the options a few seconds down the street we passed on eating hotel breakfast each day. Location excellent for sightseeing.

It's a B & B what do you expect - it's a room not a suite.
Very central location particularly handy for the Dome, but by Sienna's standards a major throughfare so noisy and with a bar right opposite that does not seem to curtail its customers from shouting at each other until 2:00 AM so not good if that disturbs your sleep. Shutting the window was not an option, it was very close and humid and there is no air conditioning or fan. There was a room safe. A good choice of local restaurants very handy. Very welcoming staff and very friendly. Breakfast is basic continential.

We found the office to check in easily, were then escorted to our B n B. The room was large and although the shower was small, it was standard for Italy. Great central location. The lady who prepared breakfast was charming and helpful. Intimate breakfast space.

Breakfast disappointing
Should inform us to leave the luggage at the hotel first, instead of lugging them to the reception then back to the hotel again on the same route. (applicable to those come from bus terminal)

This is not a hotel, but a family that runs a few apartments all over the old city. The address they give is the office. After we parked the car (with great difficulty in old city), we came to the address provided only to find that this is an office and our room is on another side of the city. It took us an hour to drive around to get to the other side. They did not want to help with getting a permission to enter the ZTL (zona where all traffic without permit is prohibited). In all places we visited in Italy, owners always got us a permit to drive to the place to unload. But not in this case.
The room was tiny and dingy with old furniture and miniscule bathroom. Breakfast is non-existent. Coffee, a roll from supermarket, dry cake and butter and jam. That's it.
When we were leaving it was raining really hard, so we asked the owner again to either get us a permit to come to the apartment to load our luggage or maybe drive us to the car park with our luggage, so it doesn't get soaked. This was also refused. You can find a better place in Siena

Great location.. About 15 euro cab ride from the station. (You can take city bus too, we dint explore that option). Walkable from the the main historic center. We had a room facing the Main Street and it was extremely noisy almost all night .. The room was decent size.. Breakfast was the worst we had in our 18 day italy trip.. They only have coffees , juices and pre packaged toast. No wifi. Good thing were only there for a night.

Everything is excellent, the Albergo Diffuso staff was helpful and kind, the room was neat in every sense, location close to absolutely whatever you want to visit in Siena, and they offer a very nice breakfast.
The only thing I would recommend to them is to have the credit card machine right in the office they attend the customers (on Via Stalloreggi) as, I am sure, some would not like to see their credit cards taken away somewhere else outside the office to be returned a few minutes later.

The front desk needed to be more helpful with bus and train schedules
