This is a great location with great staff and facilities

Hotel is lovely, and the breakfast really good, evening meal is limited, expensive and small portions, pillows are too hard and no choice, but the real issue is if you book through an agent such as Expedia you are charged £7 per night which is disgraceful and a rip off

Third time I have stayed, booked and PAID for a family room but got downgraded, parking has gone from zero to £7 which is not advertised, restaurant is so expensive I had to go into town to eat.
A real shame they keep adding charges and the restaurant is so expensive, otherwise a nice hotel, staff are as always amazing, friendly and helpful

Great place to stay, hotel is quiet and clean. The food in the bar wasn't the best, but i guess you get what you pay for. Great selection of breakfast foods!
Beware of the £6.00 parking charge added onto your hotel bill. Where else am i supposed to park?

Excellent kid friendly hotel. Was given complementary upgrade at check in
All hassle free

Now charging £7 per night parking, up from £6 last week, restaurant is still awful, ridiculously expensive for tiny portions, beds and pillows are low quality.
which is a shame, the rooms are quite nice and some lovely grounds but you have to leave to eat somewhere else.

friendly staff and clean room, ideal for our one night stay in the area and nice to see Thomas the Tank Engine's smiley face around the hotel!

Booked and PAID for a family room because like the space, but was stuffed int a standard room, this is NOT what I paid for, if they had put me in an executive room the fine.
Receptionist was incompetent -
Finally the food was absolutely disgraceful, the starter was soggy and luke warm when it should have been crips and hot, the main meal a fish and chips had shrunk to less than half the size of last week, yes last week, chips were undercooked and cold, all of which I was charged a small fortune, I feel sorry for the poor families that are stuck there and ripped off.

Great place to stay for a day or two at Drayton Manor Park. Be sure to reserve your breakfast and dinners in the hotel restaurant well in advance as they seem to book up very quickly.

This time was upgraded to an executive room which was basically the same but a lovely bed, shame the pillows were so hard.
Staff were exceptional and really friendly, catering does leave a lot to be desired, no butter for Breakfast only margarine, and the evening menu is limited and expensive, but overall a much better experience.

Having stayed at the hotel many times, I had not eaten there. I was told of new chef on board and I can say the food was excellent. Highly recommend for a quiet night away… not during school holidays

Staff were so helpful made our stay perfect 😊

Sadly if you book through a third party such as Expedia they now charge you £6 for parking so add this to your quote, the food standard has dropped significantly
I was served a burger with a stale bun, toasted to disguise, was charged £7.50 for an Eton Mess, with no strawberries, very little cream and meringue just 2 dollops of ice cream, AND HALF THE SIZE of the one I had last week, yet charged the same price.
Staff are in general very good but check-in takes forever especially after a long day, and the waitresses are trained to ask "how is your food" at the most inappropriate times, like when you are actually eating

Family room was a bit misleading, it was a small room with a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed wouldn’t have been comfortable for adults but was fine for a 3 year old. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

The welcome and attention I received when checking in was the best I’ve had in any hotel

This is an OK hotel, some lovely walks in the area, sadly they have now started charging for parking and adding a service charge to already over priced food on a limited menu, Breakfast is awful, poor quality food and you have to ask for fried eggs.
Sine they have added extra charges I will be staying elsewhere, rip off Britain comes to mind, make the most of families that already struggle, and loyal business men
