The hotel accommodation was excellent, best ive ever stayed at. Dining options were delicious and staff service was well above par. Very friendly and not too pricey. Loved my stay at this divine resort. Looking forward to my next trip

Really enjoyed the stay .. room was large and clean but a little dated as was the pool facilities. This didn’t stop us having a great time. Staff were excellent and very eager and willing to please Breakfast was excellent and service from Abby and Orly was amazingly warm and generous. Close to the beach and Smigos beach restaurant which was excellent.

The property was well situated and 10min away from great local restaurants. Service from check in to check out all were exceptional. Greeted w Tea and host was able to accomodate us as we arrived much earlier than our regular checkin time. Facilties were excellent - clean and very well kept. Grear breakfast and good service all around. Will be back again. Beach was just few steps away w local restaurants as well.

We loved this resort! Our room was amazing. If you can splurg for the room with the private pool, get it!! It is so worth it to be able to take a swim at 3am, and you never leave your room. We had a room with two bedrooms, and it was huge. The place is uniquely designed and very nice. The staff is amazingly. Yean took care of us almost every day. He was excellent. The beach was a short walk away. I would recommend this resort to everyone. It is a little secluded. So you will have to take a taxi when you need to do things outside of the resort. But the staff makes that easy for you also. They get you a car really quickly. I have nothing bad to say about this resort. Our stay was amazing!!

This hotel could have been great but deficient management made our stay horrible: When we arrived in pour suite with pool the pool was dirty. There is no coffee machine in the room, no electric plugs by the bedstand, the AC is malfunctioning... We had to ask 3 times for someone to open the door of the restroom that someone had locked. Even the welcome fruits were rotten. The food is a disaster: Shrimps for our lunch smelled and tasted bad, chicken was frozen. They make you pay the breakfast if you order it room service, EVEN IF INCLUDED. Anyway Breakfast buffet is very limited, bread and pastries are either soagy or dry, the butter is not butter but bad cream cheese,natural yogurt is not natural but heavy with sugar (what a joke for a swiss chain...). And you dont get OJ if you come after 9.30. Traveller you should pass your way. Mr Movenpick you should audit this property

We got the room with a private pool. It was a lovely room & the location was perfect! The hotel will provide a ride in a golf cart to the Laguna Golf Course, which is only a quick ride. The beach is sooo close! Be sure to grab sundowners at the beach restaurant Club 22. So nice to have your feet in the sand w/a drink watching the sunset and be so close to our room as well. The staff were so friendly and quick! Pang at the front desk gave us great tips of where to go and we enjoyed each place. We will definitely stay here again!!

Quiet location, great for families. We stayed in 2 bedroom accomodation that was really spacious, with view for both sunrise n sunsets. The beds were cosy, and the apartment was tastefully decorated and resourced. Obviously due to low season less staff on the ground, but those who were there, were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good. The access to beach very easy.

Superb staff and location. Just 30 minutes from the airport and right next to the beach. The two-bedroom ensuite room with a fully equipped kitchen was fantastic for our family of four. We were lucky to receive an upgrade to a suite with a pool which was fantastic.

We loved the vibe of the hotel. It is clean and peaceful, conducive to rest and recharging. Our apartment and terase were huge and included everything we needed and more. The breakfast spread was generous, food was tasty and fresh. We especially enjoyed the assortment of fresh fruit juices. The staff is amazing. Everyone we met was helpful, always smiling and ready to help. The hotel offers 2 shuttle buses each way to and from the Lagoon, an area with shops and restaurants. Walking is also possible due to the short distance,and existence of side walks. It is very safe.My only wish was that the beach was clean. Beach cleanliness is an issue that affects all Phuket beaches. Unfortunately, Phuket was not the paradise I was looking to find when I chose a place to vacation. The pictures I saw in the media/ www are not, in any way, the reality on the ground. We bought the islands tour as well, also hoping to find something clean and nice. although to no avail. Plastic bottles, fishing gear, bags, toys, flip-flops, glass, etc are littering every corner, beach, water, streets,everything. Did not get in the ocean as it seemed unsafe with the amount of litter. I heard from other tourists that Bali and other places in the region are just as dirty if not worse. Heart broken. It seemed like there weren't a lot of tourists on the island. Seeing the environmental disaster that is unfolding, I can understand how people would avoid vacationing there. We will probably never return.

We had a two bedroom suite with a private swimming pool and jacuzzi facing the ocean. The layout was excellent with a bedroom and en-suite on either side of the open plan living/dining/kitchen. The rooms were lovely with everything provided in the kitchen and property that we might need. The towels folded into elephant shapes and orchids dotted around were a really gorgeous detail! Having our own pool was great! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The on-site restaurant The Palm Tree has excellent Thai and western food. The VIP privilege was 20% discount on all food and beverage, which we really appreciated. We rented a car which made it easy to drive all over Phuket and go out from the Laguna area where Movenpick hotel is located.

It is great resort! People are super friendly and very helpful! The keep the property very neat and clean. Only thing i would say negative is that they only have one restaurant but there are plenty of options near by and most of these restaurants offer free pick up service from the hotel..the front desk will be more than happy to help you with this.

I stayed in the 3 bedroom for two nights here. The room was fantastic with a high-ceiling spacious living room. The living room looks like 1500 square feet facing ocean. The balcony is also great for all the five adults to take a rest while watching a kid swiming in the small pool in the balcony. There is nothing to visit in the vicunity which may make enegetic people feel boresome. But there is a nice town in 5 min drive by taxi if you look for a big supermarket and nice restaurants. The hotel runs a complimentary bus the this town three times a day. This is a good place to take a peaceful and quiet retreat.
