Such a pretty place to stay

The resort is huge and well managed. They have the only natural pool as they have their own source of spring water. The restaurant is big and the food is of high quality. They have a Starbucks, which in my opinion is not necessary. They care so much about their traditions and the planet, No plasticware, it is awesome.

Our experience in Chan- ka was excellent! We loved the surroundings. A beautiful place to stayed and relax
4.3
Beautiful property however the room had termites right on top of the bed. Also some of the servers were super late with our food( it would take 1hr and a half from when we ordered to get our food) meanwhile most other families got their food in 30 minutes
4.3
Our stay was very relaxing and peaceful. We loved that it was close to the ruins and was very quiet.
4.3
On my arriving hotel already charge my credit card. I choose pay when I check in

We spent 3 nights and Chan-Kah and enjoyed the sites of Palenque and ending the day relaxing around the beautiful pool. My only disappointmennt was the limited menu at the restaurant along with the quality of the food. The lunch menu was the same as the dinner menu and really only had a standard European European selection. In our opinion the restaurant has considerable room for improvement.
4.3
Lovely little huts separated from each other, receptionist attention was very friendly, her name was Maria ( joking haha) her real name is Miss Nayalit.
The only concern to be aware of is from Maintainance garden people "sneaking" to see whats inside through the back transparent glass. There must be a policy to implement to hotel workers including Security Guard NOT to step in the back of the HUT and specially STOP looking whats inside. There are other ways to go around.
Other than that, if you like a quiet environment this is a great option close to ruins with a Superb Swimming Pool and a Starbucks inside (only drinks)! And a great Room Service offering local food :)
4.3
The hotel was well located, easy to reach from Palenque by taxi, and near to the historical zone.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The shower was not very clean.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms in the hot humid jungle are air conditioned and impeccably maintained. The food quality is good enough, lacking in local pride though. There should be more showcasing Mayan ingredients and Mayan cuisine. That’s why everyone goes to this part of the world. To learn the culture. Likewise, music played should be local music, not Miley Cyrus, liver her though I do. Play Mexican music . Chiapas music. Mayan music. Pool is warm to hot but clean. Grounds are stunning and exceptionally well maintained. Staff and service excellent. Howler monkeys chant at dawn and dusk. The blues are clearly older than we think.
4.3
This is a beautiful hotel, it is actually individual cabins in the jungle, with amazing gardens, a beautiful pool and it’s minutes away from restaurants, the town and the archeological park.
4.3
Room was not clean, stains on the bathroom wall.
4.3
All the hotel staff forgot to smile,
Service in the restaurante area was not as expected. And during check out I was charged 60 pesos for a facial towel that had some Makeup, saying to me that it was ruined!! They had not even washed it. Who can VIP property make that king of charges to a guest?
4.3
they don't respect their own offers like drinks at happy hours, charge for asking milk for coffee, etc
4.3
This resort is really nice the pool is amazing overall super clean and well maintain great hotel but there is always a but, there is only one restaurant and nothing else this restaurant is a bit pricey and since there is nothing in the immediate surroundings you are pretty much force to eat there also they have Starbucks just as expensive. Another thing I didn’t like a to all is that you have to bring your pool towels to switch for new ones but the last time I did so my daughter was still swimming so I couldn’t bring the last so they held my ID Hostage until I bring it back not happy with that.
4.3
Property was decent but food and beverage was overpriced.
4.3
Amazing views, pool, surrounded by jungle
4.3
Great property with super good location. Super close to ruins @ Palenque. Clean rooms and nice staff. Lots of restaurants nearby.
4.3
The restaurant setting is beautiful. The cabin rooms are similar to a nice cabin at Yosemite Natiomal Park.

Amazing place. Would give it max stars if it wasn’t for the hardest beds known to man.

Beautiful property. Comfortable accommodations. Good food.

Amazing hotel with great views and pool! Close to ruins so great location too!

The place needs more update and especially the food not good at all.

Check in took 30+ minutes, when I was the only guest at reception.
Reception would not honour Hotels.com booking price (pay at the hotel). Reception requested I pay Hotels.com / Expedia on line, to get that price. This took 10 minutes to complete. waited 10 more minutes for approval by Resort Manager? W.T.F. ?
Cabin #4 was in front of open Restaurant, across walkway, not a “Garden View”, as stated on Hotels.com listing.
Turning on A.C. requires finding power switch among many others, then using the remote control.
I realize the location is in a “Rain Forest”, however, room was damp, and required A.C., with windows closed, to dry it out. (This should be done by the Resort, prior to Guests Arrival.
Shower / Toilet room, dark only one small lightbulb, and musty smell, with just one small window, and no exhaust fan.
bed bug found on sheet in the morning.
Not a “Luxury Resort Experience”!

Hello, my review about the hotel is regular, there was no vip pass, I went especially for the spa and they did not have space the day I went, the next day I had a massage, and it was fine, but I could not have the other services, they never gave me towels in the pool, and there were bugs in the room.

El hotel es lindo para desconectarse ! la alberca esta increible y limpia.
4.3
This place is a beautiful a paradise !!!
4.3
We were pleasantly surprised by this property. The grounds are lovely. Rooms were clean. Beds were firm.
4.3
Reserved two rooms for family trip. Rooms not available together. Rooms on either side of hotel. After much requesting host was finally able to locate two rooms side by side.
4.3
The property in general looks pretty old. There were all kinds of bugs inside our room. The mattresses were pretty hard. No refrigerator, iron, or microwave in the rooms. The internet signal in my room (Room#9) was horrible.
4.3
Place very nice and clean. Staff attention great.
4.3
Pésimo servicio en el wi-fi.
Personal nada amable.
No es lo q ofrecen en la publicación, ejemplo lavandería dice q está incluida y no es así.
Los precios súper elevados si solicitas lavar.
4.3
It was a beautiful resort. So much green everywhere. At 6 am you could hear the howlowe monkies close by, which i didn't mind at all. Ricardo was very helpful when we arrived. Thank you so much. 10/10 recommend.
Side note: The restaurant is overpriced there imo. I would recommend getting the Colectivo and going into the city.
