Nice clean hotel, nice pool area and convenient with the supermarket next door. Enjoyed our stay during our trip to Palenque to see the archeological site and surrounding area.

We received top notch customer service. The room was amazing and the location was excellent.
We enjoyed our time in Palenque because of the choice to stay at Tulija.

Room was ok but noisy, parking spaces are limited and it seems used mainly by the hotel’s staff.
They promised a fiscal invoice from the restaurant, they didn’t send it, they also refused to issue an invoice for my stay arguing Expedia must issue it.
We were the first guests at the restaurant for breakfast, they opened late and the table assigned to us was dirty, bead crumbs all over the place and clearly visible food stains from the day before.

The breakfast is an absolute joke... skip it and go to the supermarket next door. The Hotel is veeery loud because of the Restaurant and/or street. The doors of the hotel room do not fit properly so that all the noise comes in.
It was funny to sign a paper which informes, that if you loose the tv or ac remote control that you get at the reception, you'll have to pay 100 Dollars.
Not existing Wifi and no one cares

The hotel is very nice.
Lots of amenities and the wait staff was friendly.
The desk staff however were the worst I have ever encountered anywhere: unfriendly and discourteous.
Parking is difficult because patrons park as they please and the rules aren't enforced.
It does have a good central location and Chedraui is next door.

I guess it's what you'd expect from a big 3 star. It was a safe place to stay but there are lots of higher quality hotels and restaurants right around the corner with better ambiance and more fun and interesting environments. The beds weren't very comfortable, the room smelled very strongly of toxic cleaning products and the food was low grade. Try Maya Canada or any other place on the street that Maya Canada is on.

We really enjoyed our stay! The bed was super comfortable, the room was clean and stylish, and the windows were sound-proof. Our room faced the street and with them closed you couldn't hear anything at all.
We also ordered room service 3 times, everything we got was delicious and delivered quickly, I do wish it could be billed to the room though instead of having to pay for each meal each time. My husband got the Holistic Massage in-room, the woman was very nice and he said it felt amazing.
Overall, it's a beautiful hotel, the location is amazing, yes the wifi does not work in the room and the "hot tub" is not hot but it's a lovely stay and the price was good. Everyone was very friendly.

The area is located in a hustle & bustle neighborhood, but once inside the property you feel pleasantly secure.

Everything was great except for the fact that the walls are so thin I kept getting woken up throughout the night. We stayed there 3 nights and each night I would hear banging of doors from our entire floor and be woken up at around 3 or 4 am. If you are a heavy sleeper than this won't matter to you.

The hotel doesnt have a swimming pool available because they are buildind a new one. The whole purpose of that day for me was to relax and write in the outside, I could not do it because there was also not wifii that works. They said it was like that in Palenque but they end up sending me to another other to use their swimming pool and their wiffi worked perfectlly. They are all excuses and the service and attitud of people working there is terrible.

Great hotel, good value.
Other reviews had been critical and I was wary of booking the hotel. However the staff were very helpful and we didn't strike any problems at all in that regard.
Sadly the wifi is a big let down , it's not that great to be honest.
And the room keys would lose thier code almost daily, got to the point the reception staff would recode each key as we came in each evening.
Airconds worked great and when the new outdoor areas finished it will be great place
Both our roo s were clean and well equiped, a fridge would have been nice, two bottles of water supplied each day.
Close to a supermarket and other shops.
It's a bit hard to find as signage s to easy to spot
Parking was never a problem
Verall very happy

The surly receptionist (Barbara) gave us a very unfortunate first impression. However the delightful concierge stepped in when she saw there was a problem and helped out. We had selected this hotel because it had a nice looking pool and we thought it would be great to enjoy the pool after a hot, muggy trip to the ruins. The pool was closed because of renovation, and the whole hotel was in the process of renovation. We got a free breakfast to compensate, but a free breakfast is no compensation for the lack of a pool and workmen hammering away all day. Parents of young children must beware because there is no bannister on the outside of the first two flights of stairs and a toddler could easily fall off the stairs resulting in serious injury or worse. When we got to our room there was no hanging rail, drawers or shelves. We went back to the surly Barbara who shrugged her shoulders and again the lovely concierge intervened and we were given the room next door which had been fully renovated and had a fitted unit with rail and shelves. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, though the bed was a little hard, the shower lacked pressure and hot water took ages. No plug in the basin. Room was very clean and though the dinner was very mediocre, breakfasts were good, especially the second day when there were fewer people and they cooked the eggs to order. The wifi is dreadful, you can just about manage to send an email but anything else is either unsuccessful or takes an age.
