Excellent location for airport. We stayed on last night of trip and then walked over the road for our flight. Free breakfast was decent and room was comfortable.

I was traveling with my 4-year-old grandson and had an early morning departure so stayed here rather than dealing with an insanely early airport transfer from Reykjavik. Did not regret it at all. The breakfast isn't very abundant, but perfectly serviceable and complimentary so who's to complain? The room itself was amazing. Comfy bed, plenty of workspace and comfy chairs to relax in. Best off, a 5 minute walk from the airport. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay before heading to the city

Walking distance to airport. Breakfast at 4am. Restaurant was delicious.

Convenient.

Super convenient to the airport. Appreciative of the services provided with our infant - they stored milk and provided a pack-n-play! Food was good for dinner and breakfast.

Aurora Airport Hotel is one of the best in the area with a 2 minute walking access to KEF.

Booked this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and was not disappointed. It literally is 5 minutes Walk to the Terminal building and is across the road from Blue Car rental. Had a very comfortable overnight stay and even managed to have breakfast in the morning as the restaurant opened at 4am.Would definitely book again.

We had the family room for 4 and it was great! The airport is right across (2 minutes walk) and the breakfast exceeded our expectations (hot breakfast with eggs, sausages and beans). Just what we needed for an overnighter before our early morning flight.

Very convenient location next to the airport at Keflavík. Room is efficient but not beautiful.

There are few options in the area and this property takes advantage of that. The stay is fine and serves the purpose of being at the airport. The price isn’t just a premium it is distasteful, and simply you feel taken advantage of. Motel quality at a 5 star price.

This was perfect for getting in on a late flight and starting our adventure fresh the next morning. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had a lot of good options.

It's the only hotel within walking distance of the airport. It's also walking distance to the car rental return.

Unfortunately, we were not very satisfied with our stay at Hotel Aurora. After a full day of sightseeing, we were looking forward to resting before our early morning flight at 6:00 AM. However, upon check-in, we were informed that there was no hot water and it would not be available until 8:00 PM. This did not happen, and hot water was only available from 9:30 PM. Additionally, the heating was not working until then, so the room was quite cold.
The main reason we chose an airport hotel was to get a good night’s sleep before our flight, which unfortunately did not happen. For the price of $350 per night, we expected much better service. The only positive aspect was the breakfast available from 4:00 AM.

Nice hotel walking distance from KEF airport. Hotel is situated in the middle of parking lots so no activities or good options other than the limited selection within the hotel itself.

You can't do better for convenience to catch a flight to/from Iceland. The restaurant is not good. The worst dinner of my 2.5 week stay in Iceland.

Like: very close to KEF terminal 400m, 10min walk. Breakfast serve at 4:00am!!! That is good!
Did not like: Bed are small.

Room was unbearably noisy from 4am until after 11pm. We paid extra for early check-in so we could catch some zzzs after an overnight flight. We were put in room 208 over the dining and reception area. We couldn’t sleep for more than five minutes without loud noises of chairs scraping a floor and banging. The front desk was no help and said it must be guests around us, but it wasn’t. We knew that for sure at 4am when the breakfast started and the noise started. We should have been comped something, but we’re stonewalled by in unreceptive staff. If you must stay here, don’t stay on the second floor.

The towels are a bit small and thin. The room was clean . The rooms need 2 pillows per bed only came with 2 .

Great location and breakfast. There was no thermostat or temperature adjustments in the room, blanket was not that comfortable. But still decent place to stay for the night

Convenient to airport terminal
Needs more towels and some face cloths as there were none provided

Property was close to airport so convenient. Opened window to cool room and was surprisingly quiet. We had early flight so left before 7:00 am. May get noisier after that.

The Aurora is clean and close to the airport (did not hear airport noise). It’s an easy walk, even dragging luggage. The restaurant offers a couple of choices for dinner. Food was good but not anything special. Breakfast was included and it was also good but typical. The only negatives I can add is the desk person I first encountered (a blond woman, was not very friendly. Other inquiries were brought to a dark haired woman who was wonderful! In addition, although the room was clean and the bathroom a generous size, the beds were not comfortable-at least in the room I had.

Very comfortable. Helpful staff. Great breakfast before our early flight departure

It was so convenient to walk to the airport. We were able to drop our car the night before we left to make our early morning flight easier and ride the car rental shuttle back since we were right by the airport. The restaurant service was not very good. I only ate there once so it could have been an off day. They did serve breakfast very early, which was wonderful because we had an early flight and we wouldn't have gotten to eat otherwise. Also the shower was very slick and my friend actually fell. It was a lovely shower, but just a bit of a hazard. I would definitely stay again for the convenience.

It is a very convenient hotel to stay adjacent to the airport without needing transportation to or from terminal

Nice airport hotel, very convenient location. Quite pricey, as all accommodations in Iceland. They could offer more than one towel per guest and bigger ones

We were traveling with our 10 month old. We picked this hotel because Expedia advertised cribs available. We booked a room and noted we would need a crib. A few weeks before our trip, I contacted all the hotels we were staying at in Iceland to confirm cribs for the room. All the other hotels we stayed in confirmed a crib would be available. The aurora hotel would not tell us if a crib would be available until check in. We even contacted the hotel the day we were meant to arrive and they would still not confirm a crib. It is ridiculous that you can book a room with a crib, but they won’t actually reserve a crib for you and you have to see if one is available at check in.

Nice hotel next to KEF. The staff was very helpful. We got extra pillows, help with the television, and were able to check in early.

It's walkable from the airport but was hard to figure out which door to go out when it's dark and raining.
Look for the door with a covered walkway. Once you get out on the walkway you can see the hotel. Don't like having to walk on the road after the walkway ends. Hotel is reasonably clean and functional. Staff was friendly.

Price/value extremely convenient for the airport

We stayed here because we had an early flight (7:30am) the next day. We were able to drop off our rental car right next door and the airport is right next door. The bed was super comfy. For the first time in Iceland, we had pillows that we LOVED and were able to get a good night’s rest (albeit for only a few hours!)

Over priced for that you get. Airport hotel, only good thing about it is being near airport.

It's great to have a hotel on the airport property. It was not luxurious, but the staff was friendly enough (buy Iceland standards) and the restaurant food was decent. You pay for the convenience and that was fine with me.

Check in person Ewoli was great. Personable, knowledgeable, and very helpful
