It was a really nice place to stay The food and the atmosphere was awesome Loved the king size bed and the full size shower

Older hotel with some upgrades. Room is a little beat up and the walls and windows are paper thin. Beds were very basic ans well ans anll the in room anmeni. All the hallways smell like kitchen spices or something. Drove from Kelowna but they don’t have any parking so we had to plug a meter. More of a young persons place I think… wouldn’t book again

Hotel was very central for our plans. Comfortable and very clean. Not sure about the frosted bathroom door. All else very nice!

Loved the room; very 70's vibe and smelled like chocolate chip cookies from the bakery downstairs. Danya, evening front desk person, was so knowledgeable and gave us so many ideas for where to eat and what to do, and every one was spot on! Everything was within walking distance. The hotel had a cool outdoor deck area which was lovely to relax and drink a tea in the morning or just sit under the stars in the evening. The ice machine room was well stocked and we could have made waffles if we were so inclined. It was a perfect getaway!

Fantastic

Other than having a challenge finding parking on day one, the stay was perfect. We had a budget room, close to the shower and it was perfect. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Could not recommend more for a stay in Nelson!!

Good stay. Good hotel. Hope to be back.

This was more like a hostel as we had to share a shower but the room was a perfect size for one night. Restaurants walkable… parking is limited but street parking is free until 9:00 am. Would stay again for a night no longer.

the efficient way of providing simple but nice tastefully decorated rooms with a touch of "old" time the bricks provide a nice background

Unique property. I used the rooftop patio and common area coffee, tea, microwave and ice. Great features. Budget rooms too without bath/shower in room for better savings.

Second time staying here. Enjoyed the staff, great location to downtown. Common area with coffee/tea in the morning is great. We experienced the restaurant, bar and front desk and without exception, the staff were awesome, Things we felt need attention: the pillows were not comfortable. The showers are clean but are starting to need some maintenance like caulk.

By far my favorite place to stay in Nelson. Clean and comfortable. The staff is great, the food at the pub, the steakhouse, and the attached coffee shop is all excellent. Been 3 or 4 times and will again often as I can.

Overrated and overhyped for my taste.Upstairs was a amorous couple early in the morning and afternoon kept us awake. Room was small and overpriced .Almost same price as NY. Impressed by Nelson and its people but not by the hip overpriced restaurants and hotels.

The hotel and restaurant staff were absolutely incredible - so friendly and helpful with small talk, information and recommendations. No elevator, and the frosted glass bathroom door was a bit unsettling since sharing with a friend, but otherwise the room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake. The Empire Coffee shop with homemade baked goods next door was also exceptional. I'm so glad this was our online booking choice!

Good, simple and clean rooms in a convenient area. Our room was not huge, but it was modern and well organized. It reminded me a bit of modern hotels I've stayed at in Asia.

I had the best vacation here. The staff were beyond excellent. The person who was on duty during the main check-in time was the best of the best! She also has great tips for dining and cool things to do in and around Nelson. My room was really nice, comfortable, and a great place to crash after a full day. I didn’t want to leave, and I’ll be back! You all made my summer!

My rating on the staff is too low. The staff were very good.

I love the central location of this Hotel. The roof top deck is great to bring out a Charcuterie board and bottle of wine. Great pricing.

The hotel had a pretty neat vibe and was pretty clean for an older hotel that has been fixed up. Our biggest complaint would have to be the rock hard beds. It felt like sleeping on a floor with a blanket. We would sleep for 45 minutes then wake up aching and roll over and try to fall back to sleep again.
The walls are paper thin so expect to hear your neighbour snoring. It was a pretty clean little room but no carpets mean you feel the sand on the floor for the three days that we stayed, and we took our shoes off at the door. Obviously not swept or vacuumed during our stay.
On the plus side, the steak house was amazing! Perfectly cooked steaks and not overdone vegetables. Great wine selection and amazing service!

Would be good if there was a lift.

Parking is horrible, limited parking for guests. Had to park several blocks away in a parking structure. Live band music under our room was extremely loud till midnight!

The hotel had a nice vibe with bright fun colours and a great meeting kitchen area to ensemble food, with kitchen sink, soap, microwave, etc.. The location is super central providing great walking access to so much.

Needs some basic upgrades - fridges in the rooms, and the TV’s are ancient. Service was excellent as always!

Good location, walkable to everything. Back parking lot felt a little unsafe for leaving the vehicle. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Was over priced for the product.

Great location! Easy to walk all up to baker street!
Lovely roof top patio and there is a great coffee shop attached to the hotel!
The hotel itself is a little loud, you can hear doors shutting and people down in the lounge.
