I couldn’t stay. I had to leave and book elsewhere. This is no longer a hotel in my opinion, I feel sorry for the staff having to deal with that situation. It’s full of asylum seekers who have absolutely zero respect for the place. Being a single female on my own, I didn’t feel safe as there were large group's of men hanging around corridors- glaring at me like I was intruding! They were shouting outside my door and I could not settle, they were so loud and intimidating. There was no way I was going to hack it out and eventually plucked up the courage to leave the room and check out. I felt safe once I left the carpark. The place smelled so bad of smoke and weed. The room was passable as a 2* at best, I’ve stayed in cleaner 3* budget hotels. I stayed here years ago and it was pleasant so I didn’t think to read reviews for an update.
Absolutely never again, it’s ruined what was a nice hotel. I have never felt so uncomfortable and on edge, it was awful.
The receptionist was very apologetic, it’s obviously not their fault and are just doing their best to deal with that chaos.

The hotel was full of asylum seekers so there were people hanging about in the corridors and outside the front of the hotel the reception was full of black bags of stuff for the residents the reception staff were very nice but the whole place felt uncomfortable and the room was cold and the noise from the road was very loud

This hotel is being used long term to house refugees. I hadn’t read the reviews to know this until I arrived. As a lone female business traveller, I wouldn’t have stayed here as it’s predominantly men as far as I could see in reception / out the front.
It’s a nice enough hotel and my stay passed without incident - it was quiet overnight, I did feel a sense of discomfort and the lack of bar / restaurant / fitness was shoddy.
Use this hotel to keep refugees safe, by all means, but don’t sell remaining rooms on this platform.

Hotel was tired and run down... Also little bit dirty. Was not told that I'd be the only paying customer, the rest seemed to be refugees. No trouble from them, or much noise, but if I'd have brought the family rather than a lone business traveller I would have felt uneasy. Front desk were nice tho and waived damage deposit

Shouldn’t be advertised as a hotel, it’s a refugee centre. Receptionist said no pool or bar because of Covid - obviously a lie it’s because it is a centre for refugees. False information regarding local pub, was boarded up! No hand towel and room not cleaned during my stay. Very disappointed and would like a refund but no way to claim one!

Only stayed due to attending a wedding at the venue. Reception were very unhelpful and rude on the evening. Enquired about water, baring in mind the bar was opposite, were declined to be sold it or just given it for good will since their vending machine had ran out. It was midnight. We were told they couldn’t help which was truly ridiculous. I’ve travelled all over, stayed in many hotels throughout the uk and world and have never been declined being given water or to buy which again we offered to do so first. Positives about the hotel is that there was parking. Bar that, the bathroom was extremely outdated and shower only partly working. Bedding had rips in. Mirrors for getting ready and lighting very good. Wouldn’t stay again sadly

I booked a double room for one night. Upon arrival it became clear very quickly that the hotel is being used to house asylum applicants. All facilities including the restaurant and bar were closed, so absolutely no facilities to experience at all. The communal carpets are in a disgusting state, to the level where you need to wipe your feet as you exit the hot.
The experience did not improve once I arrived in my room on the second floor, overlooking the carpark, which was full of coaches, but this wasn’t the issue. The room was in a bad state of repair, furniture damaged, bathroom door damaged, skirting board needing a paint job etc.
There were just four coat hangers in the wardrobe, so not enough to hang all my clothes. There is a bath and shower with a shower curtain! The bath itself has seen better days and the toilet cistern kept filling all night.
An absolute terrible hotel and it is shameless that they have the audacity to let rooms here!

It would appear that this hotel houses person for immigration or long term accommodation (for which I have no issue, but don’t sell this as a hotel) therefore the facilities were not available, we were told this the day before our travel. It was not mentioned in bookIng that the restaurant, bar etc would not be open to us. Cleanliness was not
Up to scratch and the whole experience was unpleasant The only good thing to me to was the friendly receptionist and free parking.

Our room was not ready, but the staff kindly upgraded us to a suite room which was for the inconvenience. Very nice and friendly staff.

Hello,
Avoid this hotel, as it is certainly not a four-star establishment. At present, it is being used to accommodate refugees, giving it the atmosphere of a homeless shelter, with packages being handed out. We stayed in a suite, but there were no robes or towels provided – we had to request everything ourselves. The carpet reeked throughout our stay, and there was a rubbish bin in front of our suite door that was constantly full. Avoid like the plague!

What they don’t tell you when booking is this hotel is full of asylum seekers. They do a full English breakfast delivered to your room but with no meat products……. So it’s not a full English without bacon and sausage. Don’t stay here it’s really not nice

This is not a hotel. We felt we had been scammed the minute we arrived. The hotel was dimly lit, with a group of men sitting on folding chairs and folding tables next to reception. This looked more like a supportive refuge housing. This is not a hotel, please be aware. We felt extremely unsafe and we left within 10 minutes. We cannot believe this is being advertised as an airport hotel.

Was disappointed on arrival that all facilities were closed, i don't know what was going on but people were going in to the restaurant with paper plates i was told its closed i traveled by road from Scotland and had to go out an find a takeaway find this strange , i could have booked the Premier Inn without the meal deal and it would have been a lot cheaper

Good size room, all the facilities were closed they did message to let me know, so ok for a bed for the night.

Very convenient location with large free car park. The hotel is being used for migrant housing, but this wasn't a problem for me. The restaurant is closed to cater for migrants, but I was offered breakfast delivered to the room if required. The room was spacious and clean. It won't suit anyone looking for a destination hotel as minimal facilities, but I would stay again if just looking for somewhere to stay convenient for Twickenham or Heathrow.

Hotel being used to house refugees, no restaurant and dreadful noise in the hallways. Felt needed a chair behind the door for safety overnight, would not recommend to anyone.

This hotel is basically an immigration detention centre. There were no facilities available to use. No customer service. No food available. Nothing available not even ice. Bin bags outside of my room. I think anyone who considers booking a room here is insane.

The hotel is being used by immigration which would have been helpful to know as a lone female

The hotel had really uncomfortable spring mattress. The sheets were dirty and the floor was dirty. I checked out hours later I have reported this to reception

This isn't a hotel anymore. It's for asylum seekers. There are sketchy people sitting everywhere/walking in and out. The building smells disgusting and all amenities (dining room, pool, gym) have been shut down for a long time and will never open again, it's not a hotel anymore. Very unsafe feeling. The room was also horrible. We checked in early so we could use the bathroom before going into the city... because there are no lobby bathrooms. We were in the room 5 minutes, noticed broken window. We came downstairs to go to the city and told them about the problem. They said they would fix it. We didn't leave a single thing in the room, felt unsafe. We came back at night for 15 minutes. In that time, we assessed the room. Checked for bedbugs... but mid check stopped looking because we noticed there weren't even fitted sheets on the bed. On top of the mattress was a puffy mat, and picking it up revealed the pee stained mattresses. I mean lots of stains. In addition to the pee stains all over the beds, one bed had a burn/stab through it about 6" x 2". The other, blood stains. There was dried white substance on the curtains. The desk in the room was damaged/cut up on top. We stopped inspecting so I don't know what else was in there. We immediately booked another hotel and went downstairs to leave and hopefully get a refund (not happening). In the corner of the lobby is a section filled with black trash bags (at least 100) and a table and logging computer. We left, No refund

Hotel full of illegal immigrants bedbugs in the bed The manager very rude I would never stay here if you paid me again all the facilities are closed and the smell of human faeces avoid this YMCA it’s not fit enough for homeless people

Heston Hyde has much potential as a business hotel, however at present it is being used as temporary housing which is obviously not mentioned during the booking process. Sadly this lead to a noisy internal environment, for example, children were scooting up and down the corridors until the late hours. It also has sadly led to a closure of all facilities, this was particularly frustrating as I have planned to take a swim before heading out for dinner.
I couldn't fault the cleanliness but sadly the other factors mean I could not recommend a stay here.

The room was disgusting, it won’t let me post picture but it was so dirty. Waste of money, nothing was clean, bedsheets had hair, sink was gross. The room wasn’t cleaned at all; toilet wasn’t even flushed, towels were dirty and wet.

this property is used for Asylum seekers, and we were not told. at over a hundred and twenty pound per a room , i am shocked. We booked two rooms for a wedding, and found the Bar and pool were closed also.
there were people hanging around all night.
the rooms were not great, and the water pressure was not good. They even took a deposit which i was not expecting
Expedia should not have this on the website and should of told me.

This Hotel is no longer a hotel its a centre to house refugees/ asylum seekers. Therefore should not be open to guests. Yes our room was fine but we were at different ends of the hotel to our daughters. They had strict instructions not to leave the room or answer the door. Many men just hanging about the corridors and outside.
Rooms was clean and tidy, and as we were leaving early for a flight we just got our heads down for one night.
A wedding was taking place on the ground floor but clearly no guests stayed over as the car park was empty at 7am.
Please remove this hotel from your site until its returned to a Hotel.
